https://www.profootballnetwork.com/grayson-mccall-coastal-carolina-qb-nfl-draft-scouting-report/  We met with this kid last year,he chose to stay in school and may do so again. But if he declares, he would be a nice project QB with upside. Rough around the edges and could use to play vs better opponents, but some of the stats he puts up are pretty nice. Nice kid to draft later to where he can learn and grow and not be a threat to Hurts. Should end up as a quality BU at LEAST. Could work into a starter but he's going to need additional time/not near NFL ready, but if we sign Hurts he has 4 years to get better and not really killing our draft. I would take him in round 5 if there was nothing better(at any position). IDK how Book is coming along. Can he be the 2 when Shew departs?

5th round. Howell from NC

Liked him, he was a round 1 candidate for awhile, then things fell into the abyss. Young and Stroud should go 1/2 and I would suspect Carolina and maybe Detroit cause IDK how happy they are with Goff lately(which could free up Goff as our #2???) Then I see maybe 3 more possibles(at most) in round 1 and the fighting will be over them. In my estimation the kid from KY and my boy Hooker would be the next 2 to go. last guy could be a late 1 or fall into 2. Alot will hinge on how the rest of the college season plays out

What are your feelings about Jabrill Peppers (27), S, Patriots? We definitely suffered when CG went down. Still want to see Allen as a returner. Highly doubt we can find someone better than the b/u's we already have for Lane.

Just things I'm looking at before the trade deadline

My thoughts are that he will remain in school(good for him). He's doing fine where he is,but if I was serious about being an NFL QB and I was him,I would enter the transfer portal and play for a bigger school where that would help my draft ranking. of course if you fail it could hurt doing that also, but I think the talent is there and I believe a "big boy" coaching staff would really lift his game. Now that Howell was drafted he could vie for the QB job at NC or another larger type school. I really like his play but I would like to see him up his game to more lucrative, so touche I reco'd a guy, then reco'd he stays in school.(aka godawful scout I am HAHAHA)

https://heavy.com/sports/philadelphia-eagles/super-bowl-vibes/    I know I am not alone either. Many of us on here said this team was better than the SB team. Fingers crossed we can stay healthy the rest of the way, but we need to prepare if we aren't

https://bearswire.usatoday.com/lists/bears-sign-riley-reiff-things-to-know-nfl-2022-season/  IDK if he can play RT, but I would find out. He is 33 so no long term thing, but maybe this year and next while we continue to rebuild. He hasn't missed alot of time over the years, but did miss 5 weeks last year with Cincy. I think he would be fine as a BU/rotational guy just to help with the "insurance" Nagakoue I would got after as a longer term deal. He is 27,lots of tread left and maybe could make our pass rush even better

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/players/2180472/roquan-smith/  Like this guy too. Another long termer. Seems like a good player on a crap team. So the 3 I mentioned would be the guys I look at

Decent player. IDK if the Pats would part with him. On the other hand, they haven't had a high draft pick in quite awhile. IDK if they'd want a first, but if so I would not do it. It would be tough to keep him and CG paying them both. I think we would have to choose and IDK if he is better than CG. CG showed us he can play and seems to like playing here. I think he got screwed out of Defensive Player of the Week. He kicked arse

Deshaun Watson was issued a citation for driving nearly 30 mph over the speed limit in Ohio, just months after being traded to the Cleveland Browns, a report revealed Thursday.

I thank God that Howie didn't go after this guy.

Yeah but no one has ever been caught speeding before? Kind of a petty "pile on" statement/article just to get 15 seconds of fame

We got our team. The right move was always to give Hurts the QB spot this entire season... and build up the roster around him.   Assess it at the end of the season and go from there.

They throw money at enough positions already.

37 mph over the limit?

You'd think with his problems he'd be really careful not to do something stupid?

2 - Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 2) - By beating Dallas, the Eagles confirmed they are the best team in the NFC. Jalen Hurts and the offense led a huge drive immediately after the Birds’ 20 to 0 lead was cut down to three points. Philly’s defense also came up big on the night with three takeaways. The Eagles have led by at least 14 points in every week this season. And they haven’t even played a complete game yet.      Nope I want Dak, that way they have NO EXCUSES left

He's already done plenty of stupid, this is petty stuff to get article attention. Sometimes posted limits are dumb AF. I remember one stretch of Xway in FL where the limit was 45(the rest was 75). Nope that is not going to be obeyed by ANYONE

I will be an AZ Cards fan tonight, beat them dang Saints(I still hate Amazon for hijacking this night)

LMAO UH OH This guy won a raffle from the team and the check bouncedimage.png.9902ad5d9e26bd6d853d9541a1c7ed97.png

https://www.espn.com/nfl/stats/team/_/table/passing/sort/totalPointsPerGame/dir/desc  So Ham lets do some looking around. Last year we averaged 25.7 PPG now we are up to 26.8,so 1.1 more PPG(and not even that if you take away the score fest in Detroit) be that as it may the stats are the stats,so with 8 MORE takeaways than ANY OTHER team in the league(which translates to 8 more scoring opportunities) why are we not #1 in scoring PPG? I can tell you why, because we had leads and we just clock burn, but if we have this high powered offense why are we not leading in this category? When I watch the Bills or Chiefs I don't see them taking their foot off the gas, yet we DO and although "a win is a win" I was expecting more from our offensive investments.

To me the main stat is win/loss. Seems like we’ve done things right to achieve the best possible outcome there. I don’t care about padding stats. Up two scores in the second half throwing three times with the possibility of going three and out burning the least amount of time is terrible clock management. I know you’re let down that we aren’t the top scoring team in all the land. All that seems to matter to you. I believe it’s a team game. We have more resources poured into our D than any other team. Most have much more money invested in the O than D. We’ve proven we can win multiple different ways. Played very different teams and matchups. Come out on top against all. Pretty good in my book. We play a physical brand of football. The O isn’t just winging stuff out there. They aren’t being careless. One of the best offenses in the league while not taking unnecessary risks.

You seem too obsessed with being the top offense and scoring over 32 a week. Lions were the top offense in the league….where did that get them? Go watch Old Chipper coach. He’ll hurry up all game long to add extra possessions and obviously pad more O stats. We are controlling things by limiting possessions in the game. Which is just smart football the way things have played out so far.

Yeah, why try and keep quality players?

Reiff hasn’t been looking good. Don’t see him being above third string.

On a good note, AZ up by 14 over NO in the 3rd. Not watching
