Hurts was killing it even more than this guy that’s had double college eligibility.

LMAO yeah that's why he went in round 2 because he was killing it? Hooker is in round 1? Hurts didn't have dual eligibility he TRANSFERRED because he couldn't win the job where he was(despite the fact he was "killing it"). You must dream up BS when you sleep and post it as factual. So stating facts is bashing? Ok if you say so LOL. As I said(for the last time) I believe he will be signed and amazingly start TOO!!! WOW I'm just a basher lol

This team has done pretty great having second half long clock killing drives controlling the clock. AND WIN! Let’s do whatever it takes to do that. Feels like we’ve won different ways ever week. Versatile winners is absolutely something I can get behind.

And +12 turnovers never hurt anyone?

Anyway Ham I am putting you back on ignore, until you reach maturity

Every team does this every week??? You're telling me this schedule is middle of the road? So where do we play the Bills,9ers,KC,TB, Miami or anyone else that would really challenge us to score??? I can see we are playing every week vs teams with winning records(and like I said we will face only 4 of those but keep that dream going lol). The broken record is you We are 1.1 PPG batter than last year and if you recall we hit a brick wall in playoff game 1,or has that escaped you?

Crap on paper thoughts of how good everybody would be really means nothing. Now we have a decent sample to really judge the schedule. We right in the middle man.

We had a good O last season. Our D was dreadful. QBs had a field day. Very predictable playcalling. Many would say Gannon was limited by his personnel. Wasn’t the worst…but not all what he was desiring. I just keep pointing to this being a team game. Last year. This year…whatever. Not all about points. If we were down three TDs at the half what would the game plan be for the second half? We’d open things up and take more chances, right? But there is a balance. Percentages. Do what you need to win. Don’t beat yourself gives you a chance most every week.

You basically are pounding the table hating that we kill the clock and control the ball. It’s great for us. Keep their O off the field. Keep our D fresh. I sure believe our D not being out there all the time like Chipper used to force is working. Think a good rotation, variety of skill set and just not being gassed has very much aided our D. If we just threw the ball always and got  out of bounds….there would be more possessions in each game. Means more scoring. Is creating more possessions for both teams really the most positive approach? Maybe sometimes it will be…especially coming from behind. If we ate up the whole first quarter and kicked a field goal….that would be pretty good actually. But it won’t be a 44-42 shootout. Are you really that convinced we need to hurry up and save clock to raise the games score? Especially towards the end. 5 minutes to go. I would think running all the time off and scoring would be ideal. Do you really think we should bombs away and try to score as quick as possible. Facts are the clock is a major factor in the game. Situation and score also are. Up by 3 with 2 minutes to go. We really don’t have to score. Just kill the clock. Bad for you….good for Eagles. They call those wins.

That RB from Texas is impressive, but IDK if Howie would spend a round 1 pick on one,but that's where he will go.  Number of edge guys and we could even move back and still get a good one

You can stop answering me Ham because I have you on ignore lol

If all we did was throw deep to the sidelines we could boost our score. Heck we could use all our timeouts also. Incomplete or we move down the field and stop clock out of bounds. We could only burn 20 seconds on a 3 and out. I mean you almost are fighting running the ball at this point. Why successfully run two straight plays during a first down and just waste all that time? Surely we could snap the ball sooner every time so we could add a possession to the game. Who cares if it actually just gives the other team a chance to come back. Heck two seconds left with the lead…gotta chick it to the end zone. FL demands 32 points at least. How dare we kneel it and win. Sure that actually gives the other team their only chance at victory. They intercept it and return it all the way…and we lose. But FL says we must score 32 and win that way. Screw D. Screw us controlling the ball and the game. Just throw Hail Mary’s all game. Only takes a few precious seconds. Of coarse it goes both ways. We could make sure we get our 32. But we’d give up 40.

Cant

Have to be a really special player to be a round one RB.

Don’t blame you. Shooting holes all over your demand to be top scoring team. Win games is clearly the goal.

This to me is obvious answer. If everything goes fantastic this season we could be going against him in the SB if we lose this bidding war. He’s a big time player. A guy that you want long term. Not some 35 year old one year rental.

More putting words in my mouth. We start the clock burning at 1/2 time. not with 50 seconds left which is why we don't score after the 1/2(DUH). So far that has been enough,at some point it won't be. Once again putting words in my mouth for your agenda. You never answer 1 question I pose to you

Dumb running the ball. Can’t believe we just get first downs instead of always TDs. Why keep our D off the field?

  • Author

The rules definitely favor the O. But I still believe in D. It’s much harder now. Making it even more valuable. But some big games you don’t need a shutout….just a sack fumble of Tom Brady at a key moment.

LMAO yeah that was LAST YEAR???? Once again(and you never seem to let anything sink in) I said I wanted to see things this year(and I have). I have no clue how Shew would do because he hasn't played(and neither do you) Yep, I wanted some bars crossed before I pay him starter money, while you were willing to rub his balls and just pay him starting this year. So if we were 0-6 how would you feel??? Shew will go somewhere else and probably start? IDK and once again neither do you. I said this was the year to find out not before the season, not next year THIS YEAR,but because I wanted some proof before I shell out 35 million a year,I'm the bad guy?? Amazing stuff you pull out your arse when I never said anything close to that. yeah call me whatever you want, but I want proof my players can play before I commit 5 years and millions of dollars

How are you shelling out any money to Hurts before this season? Not even possible first. Second….my pint was mostly on intangibles…many laugh and don’t understand here. Just get that big armed guy…like Strong…all you need. I just struggled to see Hurts not improving. The guy loves football. He works his tail off. Injury and bad coaching playcalls was the only possible downsides to me. Get him a legit WR room and watch his stats grow. To me this all seemed very obvious. Only question is where is his ceiling? He’s so super talented. Just not in the way many here can only see …because he’s not the second coming of Marino. I kind of just felt he doesn’t have to be the greatest QB all time. Don’t make mistakes. Build a team around him. He’s got to be clutch. Don’t have to light up the scoreboard always. But gotta deliver on third downs. Redzone. But so so many times…it comes down to that final drive. Just get it done with everything on the line. I don’t think he shies away from big moments. Already been exposed to most everything at high levels. Only spots left for him are the NFC Championship game and SB. Guy is a heck of a competitor. I ride with him. Let’s see what we can do. I believe!

I keep trying to explain it’s not just how a guy plays. Not just a big arm. So many things go into the leadership role.

Flip it to the defense... they have also forced slow drives from the opponent that haven't amounted to many points in the second halves of games.  Have we been beaten on a deep pass all year?

I don't really care about the number of possessions the first half... but with a 3 score lead in the 2nd half....  after the 2nd quarter where we score a ton... limiting the possessions is smart football.    3 score lead you give them 4 or 5 possessions in the 2nd half.... you really limit their chances, especially being they also have to stop you every time.

Which is probably why our opponents don't score either though.  If nobody scores, it helps the team with the lead.

Crazy, the QB for Minnesota just graduated HS in June and his first start is vs Penn St(due to injury) He's having a rough go,but doing well for basically a HS QB

Yeah I said so far it's been enough and really we aren't playing anyone super tough the rest of the way. But'we're going to face teams that can comeback later. The way players are dropping like flies, whatever it takes to keep the #1's on the field

$$$$, now Amazon pays to hijack Thursday night. Soon you will pay to watch every every game if this works for Amazon. That's why I refuse to buy anything from there. I know I won't hurt them, but I can sleep at night. After that the only free TV will be infomercials
