Can't argue with that. Offense came up with the plays when it needed to though. I'll take that.

Wentz put a D in Fulgham hands to take the lead.... Wentz didn’t look absolutely dreadful I’ll take that

Kinda reminds me of the Montana to Young deal

Again Bernard has been given a chance multiple times wasn’t very good plus he is damn near the same age as Jimmy G...

Still new here though

Mailata handled the spot well.... those monsters Pryor and Mialata didn't get Wentz killed. That is our future they made mistakes but weren't overwhelmed... Nice win.... I called victory, they did the deed.

OK welp I'm outta here.We lead this lame division lol

Some thoughts after a hard-fought victory.

I think Singleton and Edwards should be our LBs going forward, if Edwards isn't hurt. They work well together and Gerry and Riley continue to kill us. I have to look at the film but Wallace and Epps were probably up and down. But both are getting their first extensive playing time at a tough position, so growing pains are to be expected.

Mailata went against backups, but he looked good. Driscoll seems to fil in well for Lane. One thing is that teams can really blitz us relentlessly because our receivers struggle to beat man coverage. Once we get Reagor and DJax back, that should be less of an issue. When they rushed four, they never came close to getting pressure.

We run too many dumb plays that result in big losses or fumbles.

Avery was impressive against a legit NFL RT. He has had his moments and I feel bad about all the bad things I said about him. It is always nice to be wrong about a player being bad.

Fulgham? Where did he come from? But Wentz has his guys he likes throwing to, so I am not going to question it.

FULGHAM IS NEW HERE

Think Edwards looks good because we use him as a run defender and Singleton honestly one good play that Noticed and it was literally handed to him.... Now to be fair don’t think Gerry or Riley are better  but not sure I see them as improvements(maybe Edwards)

What the hell does that have to do with Berthard and Jimmy G

What the heck was going on with the calls in our last possession? Scott in the backfield? I F'n hate that almost any time.

Fulgham? Hardly know him.

Graham still great in crunch time

Fulgham? It is so sad that at week 4, a guy not even on the radar at WR is the hero to get the Eagles their first win of the season. Good for him! And thank you!
The injuries are cruel. I don’t think Desean Jackson will ever make an impact for the Eagles again. Hamstring for a fast guy. Even when he plays, it is usually for about three plays and then he gets touched/hurt. I want to see TOUGHER players on this team. Happy to see Slay tough it out and get back in the game, and more importantly, make a positive difference.

Singleton had two tackles, both for a loss, and an interception. I know it was gifted to him, but he also had nice depth and recognition on the play, which is what Gerry lacks. Edwards was up and down before he left the game, but he is simply better than Gerry. Right before he got hurt he had two nice tackles in a row.

The difference between Edwards and Singleton versus Riley and Gerry is that they miss fewer tackles and lay better zone coverage. The only possible reason you play Gerry and Riley is because they are better in man coverage, which they aren't, so they shouldn't be out there.

Singleton and Edwards should be the linebackers until Taylor/Bradley beat them out or we draft guys to replace them. If the goal is to win football games, they are going to be the ones who give us a better chance to do that.

On another note, Mills is far better at corner than at safety.

Yeah that one is a real none starter.

I literally do not see what Gerry brings to this team. In fact... When Singleton grabbed that INT at first I thought it was Gerry. My heart actually sunk because I thought "oh great so Gerry gets another play handed to him to pad his stats and give the coaches validation to play him".

The young kids showed up... Mailata jumped / false started like Pryor did in a crital situation. I think that happens with New Starters at least once or twice. Until they get real experience in the moment. They showed up, they were not overwhelmed. They need these young monsters playing...very promising start for Mailata. Herbig, Kelce, Pryor, Johnson/ Driscoll.can give us some hope They held up well against a Fierce 49ers D.Overall Wentz still looks off, Footwork issues, throws in the dirt, high throws missed wide open people. Is still a work in progress at the end of the day getting the win was what was important. Our season is still alive.

Absolutely! That was a very young and inexperienced team going on the road across the US with the team backed in to a corner. They could have crumbled, they could have not performed and nobody would have crucified the young guys for that. But they didn't, they stood up and they were accountable. They showed more fight and quite frankly ability than some of the vets have this year.

Come on now maybe the depth but it was literally throw right to him didn’t need much recognition literally anyone could have made that play.
