Why would it be wise to give him whatever we can if he's not going to be here? makes no sense at all

I know you can’t do it…but trust me…makes total sense.

Exactly, being wrong to the tune to the best start our team has ever had had to feel good.

Best start the team has ever had.  You've been watching the Eagles for how long?   Why would you think is the # 1 reason this team started better than 2017,2002, 2003, 1980, ...and tied with 2004 at 7-0 start?

Ughh…yeah think his been hampering us since 2017. We finally could add quality this year. But still paying for players of 2018. Harder to actually pin point it all because he’s paying with three years down the line money always.

Ham... " hampering" is because you want to sign everybody...New York Yankees style...   Dallas has not been hampered... they have been unable to sign anyone of significance.

You can look since 2017...and you can point to new contracts and money given out to outside players that was stupid.   Very stupid player decisions

For Dallas show me anyone of those?   They haven't had the opportunity to mess up.  No Alshon,DeSean, Malik, Slay, AJ, Reddick,  Hargrave...etc.   No money for that, which was after 2017...every year but 2021.

How many times do you have to hear the same story to acknowledge?

It's great you find the "batman" story... yet not acknowledging the obvious ( say probably the biggest offseaon leak with Deebo's step mom on the contract talks)  or the obvious poor cap management by Dallas?    It's hilarious really.

See the postseason also. Maybe judge some others than just QB1 like I’ve been saying. I’ve been confident in Hurts. Coaches? I got questions about their ceilings. Not sure they ready for the big game. Of coarse if they don’t bring it we all know who you blaming.

Gotta judge everything...Like  I have been saying....not resigning anyone yet like you are wanting to do.  Let it play out, then put the plan together.  There are too many moving pieces this year with the old players and the free agents that are starters.

Let it play out.   You make points that Gannon and Stout might not be here..  so let it play out.   Enjoy the ride to the #1 seed... and see how we respond in the playoffs.   2nd year for the coach,  QB etc.  Let's see what the vets have left in the tank at that point.  Lots to wait to judge.

Once again I’ll explain real slow so you can try and keep up with my thoughts here. Need Stout to develop young Olineman we can have for years. Got Mailata. Got Dickerson. Got Jurgens. I’m suggesting maybe grabbing another G. Let Stout show them the best proper way to get things done. Then if Stout leaves you have a seasoned vet Oline. See what I’m saying? Always prefer to keep Stout. But once he’s gone do you want to develop new guys? Or do you prefer having your Oline trained by the best already. Run with them for a few years.

I agree with BG...if Stout leaves after this year ... why look to overload with OL?   Or even 1 year?  Mailata took 3 years under Stout.    Makes no sense to force it due to Stout.

Simply makes sense because Kelce and Lane are old...and Seamulo,  Opeta and Dillard are probably leaving.    The numbers need to be replenished... regardless of Stout or no Stout.

I think we signed guys after 2017 that we more could afford. Bad signings? Yes. But he couldn’t sign the real guys we’d want. Does anybody think DJax was the best option to sign then? Malik? Because you’ll just never get how we went downhill, probably the same way you don’t get how we won the SB in the first place. Same thing I’ve been trying to explain to you. If we had cleared the cap first….then we can maintain…grow even from there. Keep that championship window open. But the way Rosie does it…2017 was best shot for sure. Then lesser 2018…still could have happened. 2019 worse still. Then 2020. You aren’t understanding what I am saying…or my theory of how to do things. But just look at our history recently. We could have still put together a team just like 2017….but we’d have to clear cap first. Then 2018….we could even add to that team. 2019…2020. I saw the team go straight downhill. Was saying it right when it was happening. Still trying to explain it to you. Just simple math really.

How many top college QBs aren’t NFL quality? I didn’t say by 25 he couldn’t do well in college. Said I don’t see him doing much in the NFL. Nothing been proven on that front yet. So hold your horses on your bragging rights until he actually looks good in the pros. Hurts was second place fir the Heisman behind Burrow that broke every record. But if we can get your boy late enough I’m fine with our younger QB trying to develop the ancient college QB.

Not bragging about what he can do in the NFL,we all know its'a crapshoot. I am bragging because I picked him out when he was a round 7 and you told me he was "undraftable" So  Heisman guy is undraftable? You also told me you had no clue what I looked for in a QB. Well apparently I found THIS kid? So I must have some clue what I look for. Who said we were getting him? We're not taking a QB early in the draft unless we lose Hurts. How are you going to get a Heisman candidate "late"???? LMAO once again 25 is "ancient" LMFAO 24 is a STUD, 25 is ancient-got it(please tell me you aren't this dumb)

SO we're going to lose a coach (according to you) so we need to get him what he wants before he leaves?? This makes sense to you? Seriously???? DO you read what you write or just "wing it"? How about getting the NEW coach what HE wants? Wouldn't that make more sense? Why would I bust my butt for a departing coach???? C'mon man!!! Clueless

But he's leaving.(according to you) SO he gets hired with another team, but will fly back to Philly on weekends to develop the new guys?? LMFAO OMG!!!!. So BTW when to other job offers come for coaches?? Wouldn't that be between seasons? So we need him to develop guys we don't have yet before he leaves? But this makes sense to you? What if Stout leaves after this year?? He would have to fly back to train the guys we haven't drafted yet LMFAO

24 third year in the NFL that you’ve been grinding on how long it has taken him to develop.

If you have the top Oline coach you don’t want him to develop your draft pick? Ok. I certainly want Stout showing these kids the way. Next guy can take over the fifth year Dickerson, fourth year Jurgens and third year ? New guy. Then you still get plenty of milage out of Stoutland tutelage even after he’s gone.

It’s just arguing for arguments sake with you. I didn’t say Stout is out this summer. But leery he might go in a couple years. Take or leave my opinion. I want the top Oline coach leaving us with a great veteran Oline. Sounds like a great idea….to me anyway.

I’m happy Stout developed Mailata, Dickerson and now Jurgens. You can be upset about it because we have to hire a new Oline coach in a couple years. I think it’s a big positive. If you think Stouts development of them is a negative…so be it.

Much more than that. But yes…I absolutely believe Hurts said get him. I assume he broke down the exact number situation. Got Rosie to agree. Hurts could tell AJ we will pay so play extreme hard ball from here on out with negotiating. They pay up big or you will become a nightmare until they trade you.

OK, Let me get this straight. Hurts has not yet won a new contract which is a fact. The Eagles want to see if he has improved enough in areas he was weak in. (throwing while moving to his left and going thru his progressions etc...). But you want us to believe that a player that may not even be on our roster in 2 years, told HR to get A. J. Brown and HR jumped on it? Seriously? Ham you are living in a dream world my friend. No one other than possibly you knew Hurts would ball out this year. We are all happy that he did, but we all needed to see it first. No freaking way HR took any guidance from Hurts on Player decisions.

No, I don't think those guys were good options...but they weren't cheap.   It wasn't due to money.  Dallas lack of signings due to money.

Not a hard concept to understand really is it?

Dude..your understanding of what people actually say is hilarious.  Nobody said anything about Stout being a bad coach

How do you spin the fact that the Eagles need to replenish the OL .... and get to Stout not being a good coach?

Absolutely hilarious!

This Eagles team has the starting C, RG, backup LT and G contracts expiring ... with an aging RT.   They have 3 starting DL on expiring contracts along with Barnett and Quinn.

Yet we talk about the Saints trade being wrong decision and paying a safety $20 mil.

You got holes at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball that need to be addressed going forward.   Draft picks and money need to go there first.   You can just look at the recent history of our division and see the correlation between record and the players on the line of scrimmage.

Is it shocking 2020 was our down year after using 25 OL, and having Cox and Graham played injured without much depth on the DL?

This is going to take an overhaul, not a tweak.  Let the season play out first and then look at the whole puzzle before worrying about contracts etc.

Because it's obvious to the rest of the world....the simple answer is  OL players are leaving and getting old, that's why we need to draft and develop new young OL.     But that's not good enough ... he needs to make a simple thing complicated so he sounds smart.

Then twist it to where you and I don't think Stout did a good job.    Hilarious.

Hey we spent $50 mil on bad players...because we didn't have more cap space.... had nothing to do with just being poor player decisions??    Yet show me one of the other 31 teams signing all these more expensive players over the years????   We were really restricted from making moves this year because we didn't handle cap well???   Added half the defense and a #1 WR who got paid...because we couldn't manage cap.   Yet Dallas was just " hampered" by not signing anyone of significance for years? But hey at least they don't backload contracts like Howie....because that would really hamper them?????

Stine...you miss the biggest point.   Tennessee had final offer way below market value.   Hurts magically made that happen...it took Hurts to convince AJ 's camp not to accept the offer????

Hey.... Batman costumes are more important than leaked conversation between NFL players discussing contracts.

I wonder if Joe Burrow can convince Minnesota to make final offer way under market value so Jefferson can go to Cincy?   Watch how that one ends up either between $30 -35 mil per or Jefferson gets traded.   It's not going to be Jefferson taking way below market value like apparently Brown would have if not for Hurts???

But wait Hurts told Howie and AJ that the Eagles would pay market value.... so that made Brown stop negotiations after months and Tennessee already saying they wouldn't go higher????   🤔

LMAO how will he develop them if they aren't here yet? Shouldn't the tutelage already be ready(if it is) with 1/2 the season gone? 8 more weeks makes all the difference? Only learn things the last 8 weeks?

OH so the talent level of the players means nothing? Davis will die on the vine with any other coach? really?

Who is upset? merely pointing out that they will have the same talent when Stout leaves or does that also ship out with the coach? Your statement "give them(the O line coach) everything we can" makes ZERO SENSE. Would we not give every coach as much as we can regardless of whom it is? Isn't that Howies job?

Yeah me and Joe aren't getting through either LOL. Nice summation here and 100% agree. But we are "haters" HAHAHA

Ok, hate to be your party pooper here with actual facts and contract details. But only 57 mil guaranteed to AJ from Rosie. Anybody here want to do that math and tell me how that is greater than the 20 mil per figure the Titans supposedly were offering?

Ham thinks Stout will get poached and we need to do a cram session to teach them all we can while he is still here. So these next 8 weeks are critical in their development before he leaves (if he does). If Stout leaves all the player development stops. We're DOOOOOOOOMED 🤣
