LMAo "trained" for 2 months when he was a RB for years? Why not work with our WR's to get them "trained" I'm not gonna argue with you he was a RUNNING BACK in HS and college

Hahahahahahhaha but you want to use him like Sproles....Sproles played slot WR, RB, KR/PR

Think we throw around the phrase use a player like Sproles to loosely.... Sproles was bout getting him in space he was excellent out the backfield yes but was also very good slot WR and KR/PR.... Basically anyway you can get Sproles with little bit of daylight to make a play he more often then not made them

Well I'd ,like to see Killins in a 2 RB set out of the backfield some

SO I'm looking at next draft WR's.No real burners in there(that I have found).I still want Parsons at LB in round 1.So I was checking WR's we could get in 3,that could still be decent and WAY WAY early.I found Terrance Marshall from LSU.His teammate should be the first WR taken and he took looks from Marshall. But this guy would be a nice round 3 pick-up. So WHAT position do you guys like in round 2? I'm kinda leaning towards a CB there(I have not looked at any of them). Not really pouring my life into this right now,but off the cuff marshall looks good in round 3.I think we only need draft 1 guy. Reagor,Ward,Fulgham, Hightower,Marshall.Lose Djax and Alshon,Now we are young, with talent and we are paying rook salaries for them all

Idk didn’t seem to me we had Killins doing anything to detailed at WR came in motion a lot.... Ran swing passes from the motion really not different then a swing route from the backfield....

Think the Eagles goal with Killins is just get him in space to make plays with his speed and quickness

Wow another WR already lol.....Have Hightower Reagor, Ward.... Have Watkins to still look at.... Fulgham looked decent like to see him but more.... Have Goodwin though not expecting much from him though he did just opt out because of COVID

Also have Burnett who we like

Yeah still like to snag 1 more,up the competition for #3.We have no round 4 as of now,so we'd need to make the first 3 picks count. After that we have 2-5' 4-6's and a 7th.Can't expect to get impact guys that late.Watkins would round out 6 WR's.IDK much about Burnett.

I’d be fine with Parsons though I don’t see us drafting a LB round 1 I’d probably look for a Lb in the 2nd or 3rd...

Round 1 honestly think we need DL as you stated our team goes with the pass rush. Graham no spring chicken(could be moved for cap as well) Malik could be a cap cut.... only two players that have really shown anything has been Sweat/Barnett(though not sure he is worth his 5th year option money).

yeah forgot about Goodwin lol.But he never played,so not like we're missing him

yeah but he's a homer and we like those(Penn) and really if we're gonna do anything on D,that's good place to do it.So I was kicking it LB,CB,WR first 3 although we could use a D or O line guy also

At any rate,just playing around

Not deny that but Eagles history drafting Lbs just goes against it I would not bank on us drafting a LB in round 1

With Mailata showing some promise, Driscoll coming along... Dillard injured but in the wings and Lane think OL is fairly stout T was my biggest concern but seem to have it.

G fairly strong also Herbig looking like he can be a full time starter, Pryor is good backup G fills in nicely... Brooks will be healthy again as will Semaulo

C- might be a concern but have options if Kelce retires we really like Jurgia though we haven’t seen anything from him and Semaulo could still be an option

I’d probably go DL round 1 LB round 2 a possibly look at CB-TEs round 3 or 5(likely get a 4th at some point)could flip flop them depending who was available

DE concerns me

DE-Sweat/Barnett maybe keep Graham not much behind them to speak of yet... Don’t think Curry is back Avery only seems like a part time pass rush not a full time DE

DT- should be ok Cox/Hargrave think it’s Maliks last year here but I like Ridgeway as a #3

Only take on Roob’s observation I differ with is Riley back to ST’s now & Taylor starts now, not in a few weeks.

Why do we only have Scott behind Sanders? I’m all for going small, but Clement isn’t our big back. Been off the boards for years, new account 😔 couldn’t find my old one

A lot depends on how things shake out this year, both in terms of where we are drafting as well as how our rookies look.

I don't think they would spend a top 10 pick on a LB, but would if we were picking in the high 20s. But there are a lot of different factors. If Mailata continues to play well, and Reagor and another wr (Fulgham, Hightower, Watkins) do well, I don't see a need on offense. So they are in a good position to just draft the BPA on defense early in the draft. But if Mailata regresses and the receivers aren't good, those become positions of need.

The next two weeks are key because the Steelers and Ravens are legit teams who will test our offense and defense. If our young players look good against them, the draft situation becomes a lot easier, as we won't be looking to fill so many holes.

On a related note, Edwards being out means Singleton will see more action, which is good since we need to know what we have in him.

Tell me jsb who was the last LB eagles drafted in round 1

But Nate Gerry is more athletic and can cover better.

Come on your better then that sorriest jab at Gerry yet from you..... My grandmother could have made that interception.

All for given the guy a chance but was really a none factor from what I seen from him

Jordan Mailata allowed just 1 pressure in 38 pass blocking snaps, per PFF. Very good showing for his first start ever in a football game at any level. #Eagles

The interception was only half of the equation. He also hit over 20 mph to get it into the endzone, one of the fastest recorded speeds in football this weekend. Gerry can't do that. And even if he could, do you think he could have broken the tackle to score?

Here's Strap's strip sack. Watch Gerry get blown up by a RB on the play. Is that what you want in a LB?

You are massively biased lol He ran in a straight line willing to bet Gerry can reach 20mph also running in a straight line to a gimme int nothing impressive from Singletsry on that play sorry...

He got blocked didn’t even move any I’ve seen Miles Sanders put Lbs and DE on there asses blocking

Seen MJD level Shawn Merriman an All Pro Lb

I am biased against playing a crappy linebacker versus playing someone who might be better. You think Singleton might be bad, so you are okay with playing someone whom we already know is bad. If you don't see the failed logic there, I can't help you.

Nope I’m fine giving him a chance but acting like he did anything I have issues with

If you can’t see your blind bias I can’t help you.... You not pick good plays from Edwards and Singletsry neglect the bad and only point out the bad from Gerry never talking the good....

Fact is I think we have crap LBs across the board I want both rookies to play stated it numerous times get them reps...
