Who said it was the worst possible market besides you???? I know- NOBODY. market was set higher than Tenn was willing to pay? other WR's got money? that is the worst possible scenario? I would think it a great time to look for a team that would pay more?

I would think the obvious time would be to start FA when everybody has their max available money. By the time he walked away from negotiations everybody had made their plans for the season. Spent most of what they could. Because you need a team looking for a mega contract WR. Oh and has draft picks to spend. Nope…sorry….that part there is no debate. Worst possible time to get multiple teams driving up your price to max value. I’m just trying to even think of another option but us really. Gotta be somebody else that fits all those parameters. But still gotta know you can work the whole megacontract out in record time. That version real thin on being possible…but could happen.

AJ couldnt care LESS about what picks Howie gave up or didn't give up. PLEASE,he was looking out for his own interests, stop this BS

Any team trying to acquire him would care. Titans would care. You know…the guys who actually technically making the deal happen…especially according to you.

Market value amongst 32 teams. Not exactly the same as price paid by the only option…or 2 or 3 options. AJ and his agent have biggest balls around….according to your version. Man he got lucky.

His extension is for next year...are you saying if he became a free agent he wouldn't be making the money the Eagles offered him.

He held the cards... He wasn't in a rush to get a deal done. Tennessee was the one that benefits from doing it in time for 2022 draft.

I don't get why it's difficult to understand.  Brown was going to get paid next year....EITHER WAY!

record time.

Again nobody thinks this but you. AJ could agree right now "in principle" to be traded 4 years from now(if there was no tampering) What you agree to can be done at any time, there is no "record time" for this,it was agreed to when he walked away. I can agree right now to meet you in 2027 at the Linc.I can sign the document to do so in 2026. Record time baby!!!

Right... No player is going to take less money than they are worth.

So AJ was not going to sign a deal with Tennessee prior to the draft.

Tennessee preferred to trade him rather than pay.   Very simple

So AJ wasn’t going to take less than worth. Eagles weren’t going to trade all that without contract. The Titans part…probably not exactly right. The story is they wouldn’t pay the 80 mil guaranteed AJ demanded to sabotage negotiations and force a trade to Eagles. Nobody would pay that….and nobody did.

Sure the team cares but AJ doesn't. if he gets his deal he wouldnt care if Howie gave up 30 years of round 1 picks

So Gardner cares what the Eagles traded for him?  I mean it just seems like AJ is different than every other player according to you?

He would have taken less money if not for the Eagles?    And he needed the Titans to get good trade compensation?

??????

And so why didn't Tennessee just hold off like SF and Washington?

Deebo requested a trade,  stopped negotiating?   Do you think there wasn't a team that would have paid him except for SF?

Yes prices for players go down every year(lmao) Cap never goes up every year either(allowing teams to pay more per player?????) Nah thats all fallacy.SHow me a player that sets the market by demanding less than before

This thing called supply and demand. You can get whatever somebody willing to pay. This going down in the smallest demand window doesn’t drive prices higher. What drives prices higher is bidding wars by multiple buyers. So who had WR need, the money for megacontract and draft picks for the trade…that could work this super complicated contract out in record time? You know…according to your theory. Do you believe if there is only one buyer that drives the price up?

Sabotage HAHAHAHA OH Jebus. Him and Hurts were in cahoots to sabotage the Titans,no other explanation 🤣

Other option Titans had was????? To say no trade and let him hit FA with no compensation. Is that a good deal? Super complicated contact?? Like they don't have standard contracts they tweak? Oh man. Fill in the blank spaces, add whatever additional perks at the bottom? This is complicated? After 50 years they don't have this down yet?

BUT BUT there's no TMZ story there!!! Gotta have drama, conjecture and "dreams" it simply has to be more complicated

I actually think your version is way more complicated. Wild to think it happened that way. Rollercoaster story. So much luck, coincidence, insane judgement decisions…my version is the simple connect up the logical sequence of how it was actually possible. Your version is an incredible fantasy story based on everybody following the rules a million things working out just right…AJ taking the wildest gamble that pays off big time. I won’t say your version isn’t possible…but it’s an amazing story.

Dude just doesn't know how to explain himself. Doesn't answer direct questions.  Only reads and listens to partial posts and articles.

It's baffling he can argue a point for months and then go completely opposite.

Remember the Eagles can keep Hurts cheap one more year and then tag him....now " they gotta pay him after the season ...like I always said even though everyone else disagreed"

" I'm the only one on here that thinks we have a good OL coach "

Talked forever about making huge trade offer for Deebo who requested a trade... now can't acknowledge the conversation that was leaked?

Obvious stuff he can't acknowledge... but if it's " inside info" then he can theorize about it.  My guess, he never saw the leaked phone call.  Because only he had to think Deebo wasn't happy...the rest of the world actually knowing it for fact,  takes away his relevancy.

My version? Like I made it up like you? I simply showed what the player said but that is my complicated version? read the article again,it's not MY version it's what happened LOL

Agreed, I'm so done with this lol. Yeah that reset the market and told AJ his value was more than 16. But forget facts LOL. Hurts got AJ here,it's beyond question

He could have waited until next year and got tagged. So that’s not really accurrate unless you are talking about the tag pay. What deal is to be made if we don’t agree on his megacontract before trade? We aren’t giving those picks for a one year rental. Titans not trading him for chump change. I don’t think it’s difficult to understand at all. Seems like it’s mostly fairly obvious to me. Your version is pretty wild though.

It's hilarious though.  The perception narcissistic people have about themselves not realizing the people in the room are laughing at him.

What if he didn't get tagged?

He gets paid. In no scenario does he not get paid.

AJ would care because he put himself in this situation. I think very knowingly. You think he just rolled the dice at the weakest moment.

Right.... all of us are saying that without an Eagles trade ... he gets tagged or becomes a free agent.  Either way 2023 he gets paid.

Tennessee had to rush a deal to get picks

IDK I am moving on.Tired of re-hashing what we laid out multiple times. It's useless "You're always wrong in Hamville" lol

It's the "Hamityville horror" LOL

What is rolling the dice?  I don't get this?  Did Deebo and McClaurin roll the dice?  Did Gardner and every other player who didn't take below market value heading into the last year of a contract....roll the dice?

I'm not getting what you are saying...it seems you think only Tennessee or the Eagles were an option for Brown in 2023????

You mean the part where I said the most likely way to easily get a contract done with Hurts was if he was in MVP level conversation. He’s gained ground on favorite Allen this week. Number two odds of winning MVP! Pay the man! You guys catching up at least and I assume agree now he’s at least a legit starting QB. Don’t see you talking about starting Shew over him or the draft QB we are setting up for.
