Think some of these teams that are desperate will be dangerous for us. They going to go for broke. Fake punt. Trick plays. 4th down on their own side of the field going for it. Chucking the fifty fifty balls…,get lucky or get pass interference. Refs aren’t perfect by any stretch. Onside kick to start the game. When you are on top these lower teams feel like they gotta take chances. They don’t play it close to the vest. Makes them dangerous. They going for broke instead of going with the odds. Do all that low percentage crap. Every trick play. We going to see it all.

Sure helps to get a good seeding if you win the easier games on your schedule. No doubt there.

I played forever. Had several teams each season. Won at least one league each year.

SO you'll never play again because there are Thursday games from now until you die

NP we have the MVP QB. We better fix our run D PRONTO and let Marvin Wilson park cars at the Linc

And at what point did you think they were going to lose?

Before the Bradberry pick at the 3. If they had scored instead, there was still plenty of time left for a 3 and out and/or onside kick. let's not delude ourselves that this was an impressive win. The D bailed us again. Run D was awful. Houston sucks we should have put up 41 points

Philles down 3-2 now 😞

But got to where I wasn’t able to keep up. Just a bunch of commitment. Like I said…it’s practically an everyday thing. Gotta do waivers. Then after you see how waivers went you gotta make moves accordingly. Then Thur. Game. If it was just do waivers then wake up and watch the injury report Sunday morning the game would’ve so much better.

It’s not like you ever gotta spend a long period of time on it. Just that you gotta deal with it everyday.

That's supposed to be on Saturday... not Thursday.  It's absolutely annoying for fantasy having Thursday games.

Definitely seems like our tackling a run D is a weakness. So I’m not saying the best teams necessarily are the biggest issue for us. If we get run on and they control the clock out O stays off the field. Out of rhythm. You know…what we usually are doing to people. Some of it seems like our D scheme. He doesn’t want to give up the big plays….so we aren’t crowding the box. But tackling has to improve. Can’t believe an undefeated team misses tackles like we do. Never seen that before. So fundamental.

So we scored 29... and you would expect a 3 and out by our offense?  But let's say no Bradberry pick...it fell incomplete...you expected Houston to score there?  They scored 17....on comparison if this was 10 years ago thar would be like scoring 7.

Was anyone missing tonight that would usually help our run defense?

Pretty over it. Started playing when I had dial up internet even. Had my fun. Doubt I’ll play again. Just doesn’t thrill me that much anymore. Will suggest you try an IDP league. That kept me in a bit longer. Really leveled things out having defensive players too.

Was looking in the 3rd 1/4 Run D with Davis 3.89 YPC. without Davis-over 6 per. IDK what the final tally was

We did a 3 and out on the previous series so who knows?

Tuiloputo or whatever supposedly is ahead of him. So he’s the backup. In those five man fronts we run

I'm happy for you that you are happy not playing. I play for fun,try to win, but it's just a GAME lol. I don't let it stress my life out

Not that good either, we ended up with Hargrave there I think??

Well we won,so whatever. Saw some nice things we can build off of and some things that were inexcusable-aka mixed bag for me

Hurts went 21 of 27 I see.

Was that the outlier?

Davis Mills still learning, those picks helped us alot

The interception by Mills looked more like the credit goes to the pass rush than Ceedy Deuce. Both outside rushers came fast. He was shook and couldn’t escape.

Appeared(to me at least) that the Houston D made the proper adjustments. They just ran out of time. If they had scored instead of being picked at the 3 it would have been 29/24(5) with time left. We did manage a first down to ice it.I was just watching the play by play on my fantasy site

That’s what you gotta understand with Defense. Coverage can help create sacks. Pressure can help create interceptions. They work together. So can’t just give credit to one or the other without being specific.

Saw Hargrave had a big game

He’s just backup level guy. They’ll get their high pick draftee to take over. Mills got plenty of experience to start his career which is fairly unusual for a guy drafted as late as he was.

I know??? I'm not a newbie watching his first game LOL. I'm hoping Howie saw the value of having a decent secondary

Team had 3 days to prep. Take it easy. They have a long week to tighten that ish up.

Dis ninja serious?

They’ve had much longer than that to learn how to tackle…geez…can’t blame that on a short week game.

This game seems typical....I wasn't watching,  only flipped a few times.   But this is why I'm saying just let the season play out.

You should expect to win each week with this schedule.. week by week I'm talking about... unless it's a blowout, you aren't going to get excited.    It's basically waiting for playoffs at this point... or else if it does become a close race for 1st seed, it's because we lose games we shouldn't.

They should cruise to the 1 seed... and then we see what happens.  At least we can root against the Saints along the way.

Looked like the WR for Houston was just on the wrong page for that last interception. Not sure Mills is to blame on that one.

Yeah... how many backup level guys on this schedule?   Seems a lot.

They will have a high draft pick, maybe the 1 pick and they have another early 1 pick somewhere in the top 10 I believe(without looking).
