Of coarse Hurts could run more. I don’t think they stopped him as much as he didn’t run much. Think I remember he hit a big run near the end to keep us on top and practically seal victory. But has anybody dug into how the Texans played us? Lovie had some answers.

Got his guy beating both our T on the rush. Hurts met heat in the pocket. Both top WR shut down. It was a quick Thursday crap game. Many teams struggle. But I just keep worrying about us getting exposed. Always pretty much happens. But this is a little worrying. Nice to score 29 and worry.

Goedert down and we might not take it home.

My question to everybody here is: rank your top three in order of worst player to be missing on O and then D. Should be interesting. I gotta think on it myself.

Hurts, Goedert, Sanders I actually think is my O answer

Think AJ our best player. But we could survive much more without him than the others. Tough…because he was the only guy practically doing it inTenn.

He’s clearly elite with Hurts at QB even with other options and running the ball plenty.

Paschal helps. Always could bring in Ward again now for depth. Quez I think would blow up and shine. Smith is not a terrible number one. He’s so smooth in his routes. He’s plenty aware of beating the S help.

So seems weird answer for me. Lane is a stud. Kelce a stud. AJ tops. But we can cover those guys…I think.

D : Reddick and Sweat are terrifying QBs once we know their passing. LB Edwards would he a tough loss. But Bradley  can do the job. White we don’t really take out. Dean is the X factor at LB. He isn’t playing. So that’s worrisome. But believe he would be first in for Edwards or White if something serious went down.

Slay takes our D to another level. Brad merry getting targeted because of Slay so much more. Been really holding up. Sometimes easier to visit on reputation. But clearly everybody throwing at him forcing him to show. Epps and Gardner-Johnson we have nothing it seems behind. Wallace I’d cut. Blankenship my guy. But he’s real green. Can he do it right now….he’ll develop….but right now?

Reading where both sacks Mailata allowed were on Siri for putting Mailata in the wrong alignment. Siri taking responsibility for them.

Yeah I remember he got beat back to back and I thought that was weird. I thought possibly it w as new technique hughes was using on him he hadn't seen before. Nice to know it was the alignment issue and not an athletic one

After i posted that i saw that Siri took responsibility.

He said it was a new blocking scheme.

So it's either that or he was trying to throw some cover for Mailata who just had a bad day. It happens

I'm glad it was corrected because he had Hurts running for his life

Mailata didn't look good yeaterday

Was it just the speed rush or is that shoulder worse than we're being led to believe.

IMO Mailata just got schooled. Hughes was quicker off the snap and had outrageous bend.

O answer - Brown, Goedert, Sanders

D answer - Hargrave/Slay (toss up with Hargrave since Davis currently missing), Bradberry, Reddick

I was thinking about D but we got the same O in the same order lol IDK if he means skill positions cause linemen are important

The D is REALLY tough. So many players of high athleticism and high football IQ existing/were added to the D that work SO well together.

29 points .... they were the model of how to play us????

The Eagles are among the 18 NFL teams not projected to receive a compensatory pick in 2023.(PFN)

I seem to remember Joe and most of us complaining we didn't run enough in the first half of the season.

"Run the damn ball"   Remember?

Wonder if part of Kamara not being traded is he may be facing punishment from the NFL and legal probs from a scuffle he had  w/ some pita reporter back in Feb. However some who were there say it was actually started by the reporter. Some reporters just deserve to be hit anyway imo

Correct.... they would get them in 2024.

Right,  the exact opposite of what Ham said.

Yeah as of this point we have 1,1,2,3 and 2-7ths for this next draft, just pointing out we had none(comps) coming. If the Saints lose enough and we end up at 4,5 I suspect we trade back(still get our guy) Howie is pretty good at getting extra assets when  he deals. The 2 7's aren't worth much. Really cannot be used to move up in round 3 even. Could trade back both 1 picks depending how things go

OSU/Northwestern was a brutal wind game(33 with gusts to 50 mph). OSU had lots of issues early. Excellent game going on now my boy Hooker and the #1 VOls vs #3 Georgia, should be a great battle. Georgia up 7-3 in the first

I was in that camp. We are running more between the 20's at least. Hurts still ball hogging at the GL LOL
