Sanders 6 TD's as of now which is better than ZERO all of last year. He was the guy I was expecting to get my "ONE extra TD per game" so he's close. Still would like to see the RB's used more if we want to keep Hurts out of the mash tent

29 points .... they were the model of how to play us????

You are missing the forest for the trees. I’m looking out for any weakness being exposed.

I seem to remember Joe and most of us complaining we didn't run enough in the first half of the season.

"Run the damn ball"   Remember?

That was me.

I talked all last offseason about how we should be a dominant running team.

The whole crowd at the Linc  was chanting for the run

I know you guys hate any conspiracy theories and such….but us running the ball was just such an obvious plan. Still believe Siri was under mandate from Rosie to force the passing game to get the quickest read on Hurts. Watson was a real possibility. Rosie wanted to be able to make a decision before the deadline.

I don’t think Siri was that clueless. I actually take it a step further. Think that’s why Siri passed off playcalling duties. That was his way around Rosie.

This is laughable. No Mas was definitely not that guy.

Not only are the Eagles especially talented, but they’ll face weak competition over the rest of the season. According to Football Outsiders, Philadelphia will close the year by playing the NFL’s easiest schedule.

Let’s run through the rest of the Eagles’ games and identify which opponents could present significant obstacles to an undefeated season.       "Middle of the road" -NOT

Titans, GB, Giants twice and Cowboys…..

Titans 5-2

Giants 6-2

Cowboys 6-2

im sure most think GB will be improved by that point and dangerous

Yeah the article says EASIEST if you can read. Blame Football Outsiders then. Nor does it say we will go undefeated LOL it's says EASIEST. We could lose in close games and still have the EASIEST SCHEDULE

Four games against two loss teams. I’ll remind you we made on those teams have two losses. So let’s not tear them down because they lost to us.

Baltimore has Bengals, Jags, Falcons, Browns, Steelers, Saints, Carolina and Denver. Just one example. Anybody…please anybody explain to me how that is more difficult than ours?

The fact based stat based site has us as tenth hardest reading schedule.

Hate to use a site basing things on facts and stats to debunk this myth

Beotch to Football Outsiders they use scientific metrics

SO we're going to lose to the Gnats twice??? We're going to lose to Dullaz? We might, still there is no way this is middle of the road. Guess you aren't planning on winning this division. I have a higher bar. All your numbers on that site will change when Sunday rolls around also. Mine is based on metrics, not W/L

Obviously our schedule isn’t as tough as the Giants…because they have to play us twice.

We gave tenth hardest remaining schedule….according to this site. Hard to nitpick sone of this stuff. I’ve been watching this game long enough to realize things don’t just stay the same in this league either. Bad teams will start clicking. Some good teams will fall a part. What happens if Mahomes goes down to injury out for season this week? KC still be tough….but much easier. Injuries are just a part of the game. We all know it’s coming throughout the league. Concussion protocols really tightening up now also. We could easily have our QB1 get one and we lose that game while he has to sit out the next game over it also. Boom..two losses in a row. All the sudden everything looks different.

Giants game will not be easy. Huge rivalry game. I expect a battle each time. Always seems like it is. Records don’t matter.

But their record is 6-2 and we play them twice. Not sure how that falls under easy?

  • Author

What would really suck is if we lose that game to the Saints.

IDK **** to Football Outsider. Call them and tell them they are wrong

They have second toughest remaining. Ours is tenth. I could see making different arguments up and down some. But look at the link from tankathon I posted. Clearly se teams with very easy schedules remaining. So yeah, give no credibility to Football Outsiders  if they say ours is the easiest.

When we say "run the ball" we mean with RB's, not Hurts 1 and run ball hogging. We mean run the ball with the guys we PAY to run the ball. Sanders got zero TD's last year because Hurts ball hogged him into no stats, which you were all for with the "Hurts is superman", God, the leader of mankind, pom pom waving all last year So I am tossing the BS flag(I'm getting tired of picking that flag up). I'm glad to see Hurts doing what we all asked for last year and letting the guys we pay run the ball(One of those immaterial crappy little tidbits I wanted to see from him this year) I'm glad you decided to join the "run the ball" clan in the "off season" after were were all ranting about it ALL LAST SEASON

Yes, tankathon is the bible of stats. Believe whatever you want. I just posted the article, once again you bash the messenger-childish. So you don't feel we can go 16-1 because our schedule is TOO HARD????

East is tough this year. Teams that have our division remaining to be played are the teams ranked as toughest remaining. Washington, Giants, Colts.
