I would much rather play teams with a 29-39-2 record than teams with a combined 47-23 record. Anyone else think this would not matter? LOL

Strength of schedule based on last years records are worthless.

Strength of schedule for this year and going forward aren't

Not hard to be accurate on 4 yard passes???? I would think those are high percentage completions?

Agree.... that's why #5 was so frustrating!

Based on last years team, then add your draft picks that "should start",any additions/subtractions to/from that team, then compare that to the teams on your schedule using the same metrics/ match-ups, all fed into a computer and it will sit out win/loss probabilities which all combines into your (supposed) SOS. It won't tell you WHO will win,but who SHOULD based on all this info. Still human factors involved, things like momentum, and they also take in home field advantage. So to say it's "nonsense" is where the nonsense lies. It's quite complicated and although not 100% accurate,it's a fair INDICATOR of how your team will fare throughout the season. Can't tell me adding Caff in SF didn't make their season easier, nor that losing Caff would not make Carolinas harder

See Ham takes this as a bash or that I am a hater. We're successful,I am merely pointing out that we are good at dink and dunk, but somehow that is hate speech LOL

He killed a lot of worms with hard passes at a receivers feet

Oh that SB there was a standing joke. "A new sandwich at McDonalds called the McNabb. When you ordered it they would throw it to the person behind you"  UGH

They both have some value.  Everything just needs to be taken into context.

Look at the Eagles analysis so far, when looking at the current SOS through 8 games.  It looks much more difficult because Dallas and Minnesota are combined 13-3.   But home opener on a Monday night and No Dak...are a factor.

The league has a lot if bad records right now... those 2 opponents for us really make the schedule look so much more difficult.

Interim coach.  Not permanent.   Might be he just wants him to see what's going on... before making the real hire after the season.

So wouldn't you hire an interim coach that at least had college experience? Wouldn't you have someone in mind BEFORE you just cut them loose? Jeff Saturday was the guy in his mind? Maybe just a tad above the janitor lol

Vikes winning, but alot of those are "flukes". I still think we see them post season, but they also need to "shape up"

So there's no one currently on the staff that at least knows the playbook?

Does it matter?  You are just trying to scout your team.   Probably even get an opinion of which position coach or coaches to keep or promote.  He obviously values Saturday 's opinion.

So I have to SMH because they have alot of good players,so IDK why they struggle like they do

Still 1/2 a season left, this just shows the team he has given up and it's not a good look

Probably want outside eyes to evaluate the staff.

You gotta look big picture.  This is a bad situation....the opposite of " stacked roster "   pretty bad if a guy got his first opportunity to be in charge of the dumpster fire and was then judged for that.   This way nobody gets a negative on their resume, and Irsay can get Saturday in there giving his observation on things.

Their whole organization is not a good look.   Owner is a joke.

IDK what happened to Taylor? Did they fire their O line too? He dropped off the stat map(now he's hurt amazingly lol). The "tank" is on in Indy lol

Hiring Saturday was just another in the series of volumes lol. A few more bad decisions and he should have the whole set

Although I think we win,I also think the wuss will put up a better game than the first time. But our D shines again 31-17 Birds and we score on a pick 6

Idk if it's a bad decision?   Like I said...it's not permanent.  I know in football you don't see it often because coaching changes come after the season.   But it's done in other sports.  Take a step back and analyze things.

He has no pressure to win.  Just observe.

Defense might score more than once... this QB likes to turn the ball over.    Been extremely lucky so far.   Another week where I have a fantasy D against him...watch Gardner drop 3 INTs this week...lol
