The link I posted about Davis' return is probably the only news we'll get on him for I would guess, two more weeks. When we hear he's been activated for practice then his return would be just around the corner. Until then just need to sit tight.

Phew .. I thought I was the one that had to make the decision,  at least that's what Ham was making me feel.    I'm going to just sit tight.  I like that advice.

Both true, I guess I wasn't aware of how bad we really were on the D line

Not only the D-Line. The Linebackers were invisible. They missed tackles when they had the chance. Time we start playing Dean more. He could be what the Defense needs for a Boost.

So just ignore it? That's the answer? How can everyone,at every position, have a bad game at the same time? Let that go? OK, I hope Siri doesn't have this attitude

You may want to look at the coaching instead of pointing fingers at the players. What adjustments did Gannon do during the game? Can you name one? Washington had 5 consecutive drives of double digit plays and scored on each of them. What adjustments did Siri make on the Offense? Nothing until Half time and then he finally started running the ball more. So, yes Hurts and others made mistakes. But the Coaching sucked to high heaven. I still want to know why Dean isn't playing more. It is not like the other LB's are stuffing the run and playing lights out against the pass. Give the dude a shot. He cannot do worse than the others are doing now.

IDK hard for me to fathom totally shutting down the Vikes and letting a mediocre team kick our ass all over the field AT HOME. I said earlier we will have a game where nothing clicks, this was it. Those +16 TO ratio numbers matter now????

A little over reaction here? If Watkins holds onto that Football, it is entirely possible we win that game. So how did they kick our ass all over the field?

I'll agree with NC here

The Redskis didn't have to pass the ball.

Why would you pass when the running game is getting 6 yards a pop.

I consider that getting your ass kicked all over the field.

White is only on a 1 year,do you re-sign him? This next draft will be a weak one as far as number of picks go. We have 4 nice ones and they are high,so 4 spots will get a boost or replacement guy in here to learn. After those 4 we only have 2 -7ths (at this point),so we need to nail the 4 picks, decide who to keep, then hit FA if we think we can find better. I think Epps should stay and keep the secondary intact if possible, but we need those guys younger versions in here

OK, but why did this happen? What about our DC making adjustments to stop the running game? He was simply content to allow them to move the ball in small chunks down the field. What about putting in another LB? Dropping a safety down in the box? Anything to stop the run on 1st down? No he did nothing. It was cause and effect. Problem is we did not adjust. Had we done so, the game changes. it was not 6 yards a pop. They averaged 3.1 Yards per carry. All we needed to do was stop that 1st down rush.

Still, we win that game if the turnover battle is not in their favor. So whatever we think. That game should have been ours and would have had someone on the coaching staff done anything....

1) IDK that Dean is 100%. We got him late in the draft because he was hurt. Maybe he's not back yet. 2) Lots of dropped balls hurt, can't coach that in game. Can't coach fumbles in game. Hurts did not take off and run, when in THIS game he should have-WHY did he not? Hard to point fingers, there were issues all over the field. One play that stood out was Robinson carrying out entire D line literally on his back for 7 yards. IDK how you coach that except someone needs to hit the ankles. yeah that's an ass kicking right there. We rarely got to the QB,started 2 after the 1/2. Too many mistakes by the players to even know if the coaching was bad  (and thats pretty bad lol)

https://www.espn.com/nfl/matchup?gameId=401437843  They even passed for more than we did. How in the WORLD can you NOT free up AJ? 7 yards? You can't call a play for him? Smith didn't exactly light it up either. And say what you want, for most of the game Hurts was doing 1 read and throwing to the #1 read even in heavy coverage. Almost like that was what he was told to do. This game really showed we CANNOT come back if we go down on the scoreboard. It was good game for us really because alot of BS was exposed(finally). We did not shut down ANY facet of their game(that's an ass kicking)

So not 1 thing really stands out,it was the slow grinding away EVERYWHERE. We lost on ST's also. Their YPC were low at 3.1 because many of those runs were 3rd and 1's for first downs. The secondary was playing like "prevent defense". Sen saw it,so did I,yet despite that, they didn't throw alot, but when they did, easy completions because were giving 3 yards cushions all over the field. Really disaaponting

Well Dean is active every game and actually goes in for a play or two. I want to see him go in for 1st and 2nd downs just to see his effect on the running game. I keep hearing the LB play has been excellent, but why cannot they tackle?

No arguement here

I put the loss on the D but that includes the coaching staff and gameplan.

Been "OUT standing" in my field(alone) on this one. Before this game having a +16 TO ratio never hurt any team. In my mind it's why we were 8-0 or alot of it. Now this game didn't play out that way and we were lost for answers because it didn't play out "by the book" This was a game I wanted to see albeit I never expected it against the Wuss. We got down and COULD NOT comeback

Yeah... great play call.    Could say the same with the call to AJ...and the pass to Goedert.    Offensive coaching I thought was fine.

Siri himself said the defensive adjustments came too late.   I agree.

What I was worried about when thinking about being exposed. We struggle to stop the run and tackle.

Tackling is a real issue on this team and that leads to missed tackles in the pass game and issues in the run game. It feels like every time there's a tackle they either miss or guys gain an extra few yards.

Tackling seems to be a problem league wide

Wondering if it's a trickle down effect? If you don't hit/tackle a certain way you get called for a penalty. I get the safety, but this is wussball compared to football when we were young.

And that may be as a result of training camps etc not being as physical. I don't know if that's true but there could be a correlation there.

You’ve seen this game for some time now. The way His recovery timetable is aimed and looming postseason. I’m pretty well looking real hard at the Dallas game obviously. Don’t think I rush him right back. But would hope for game time BeforePostseason.

I think 123 got it right.

With the rule changes if you hit someone too hard you'll get a penalty. As a matter of fact someone got ejected Sunday for a hard hit

Good and bad news there. Thanks for the contribution!

Looks like Goedert is out a minimum of 4 weeks. He's a huge part of the offense.

Tuilopatu was the backup for Davis. Tough!
