Moving the Bills/Browns game to Detroit(no home team advantage in this one)

Buffalo? No thanks. Cleveland! Rock and football HOF at least! Detroit? Everybody loses

Bet the tickets are a bargain at least

Yeah right!

I'm guessing Detroit because maybe it's the closest dome to both clubs? Would that be true?

Thank God I don't live in Buffalo!

So we need Rams to beat Saints

Lions to beat Gmen

We just need to win. Suddenly you are in doubt now??? Because we have to play better teams? They are all better than the Wuss?

Always need the other team to beat the Saints... and always need those teams just above them and below them to win.

There’s a clear reason for that.

Figured we all deliberately chose not to live in Buffalo with that crazy lakes effect snow stuff.

Just doesn’t seem like a cool city to me otherwise even

Not near much else either

It was pretty heart breaking last year watching and getting pumped on the Phins struggles. But right when we started getting excited and making plans they tear off a win streak.

All the better options….

Suh came into this league a beast! But I just can’t help thinking about all the dumb crap he does. So you gotta just admit and accept he’s going to have some dumb penalties. He has a rep he earned. But refs aren’t going to let him get away with much because of it.

Hargrave has always been weak against the run here. Schwartz just got him attacking up field. He’s good at that. But such a run stopping liability. His numbers in this area are just glaring.

  • Author

Cox could be solid in run support. But, like I was questioning all off-season, can you trust a guy who still believes he’s the best in contract year to not attack? Not many out there paying big bucks for holding your ground at DT. Sacks, hurries, tackles behind the line is his payday. Other teams don’t know his responsibilities every down.

Then the obvious elephant in the room that for some reason nobodies talking about: Reddick nobody was seeing in his position was size related. He is very strong. But he’s clearly not a strength against the run. Gannon really seems to love personnel matchups every down. But every other team can see who’s out there. So it’s almost like our own DC is telling the other offenses what he thinks about each player we have. So wouldn’t your gameplan versus us be flexible based on reading what we do? It always is in this league. But it might be over exaggerated….this year with us. Feels like we giving up on inside pass rush with these two vets also.

Some are even saying Gannon D is super Dream Team thinking. Built to play well with a lead. Don’t give up big plays. But just too soft underneath. Add in terrible tackling…

  • Author

So to me we need a five man front to add a run stopping presence in the middle to counter Reddick being there.

  • Author

Not sure it all falls on Reddick. But don’t thinks he’s a strength against the run.

Hargrave, Cox and Reddick aren’t playing the run well. Tackling behind them is poor.

I just keep replaying the beginning of last season over and over. Short passes are easy to complete on Gannon. Can’t blame talent at CB.

Add in the run weakness.

  • Author

Everything I loved about is controlling the ball most the time under Hurts…..Gannon encouraging to be done to us.

Everybody sees this now.

It’s coming from everybody. You just dedicate run stoppers to overplay this part…then we lose pass rush.
