Dallas's defense is terrible. But Lamb is the real deal. I still wish we would have tried to move up. Maybe they did... Anyway, JJ was still there and he has done what GBFL said he would. Kudos to him for that prediction...

I see him getting stats and being left open.   I also saw a play where they needed him to run the route a little deeper on a 4th down play where they lost the game due to his mistake.  I'm sure statistically a good player ... I'm more concerned on how he impacts wins.  Dallas was the preseason darling along with Tampa... apparently Brady and Lamb are all that was needed.... maybe football is turning into basketball now where it's all about one guy.    Seems that way here too... it's all Wentz's fault, doesn't matter about the other 10 guys around him.

That was my point... the defense was brutal last year.... wasn't going to make enough of a jump for them to be a contender.   They already put up points last year... looks like it will be quite a bit more than they will this year.  But again, only a few games.

Congrats to their D for looking good vs Carolina, the injured Denver team, and Nick Foles.     Lots more games coming up where they will give up 30 points again.  IDK, maybe Brady throws 4 INTs and we can blame him, but I don't see it.  Their D will lose games for them.   You can rank them statistically however you like.  Bottom line not good enough to be a SB contender.

Their D is playing better than ours. We beat a injured SF team tied a crappy Cincy team lost to a terrible Washington team and got Smacked by a good Rams team...

we need to upgrade around the QB.  Until then, does it really matter?

We paid our QB top money and we have invested at positions around our QB...Now it’s time for guys to step up. Honestly with us paying Wentz we can’t invest in FA like we have in the past....

At the same time though Wentz play has been terrible him overthrowing guys by a mile and missing open targets making terrible decisions isn’t lack of players around him that is him playing poorly.

Congrats to them ... SB here they come!

Where did you read that Tampa and Dallas were the favorites but SF, SEattle and NO were not in the equation? They were in the mix and still are. Dallas is because our Division stinks

SB is your words. not mine. They never were shoe ins. Heck I never say anyone is a shoe in. Can the compete? Sure, they have a much better chance then we do.

Of Course my wife would have told you to watch out for her GB team. Well she is closer than anyone else at this point lol

I think we will look at the pay for Wentz differently real soon.  He won't be anywhere near top $$ for QBs.     The cap was tight for next year... we get past that... it won't be an issue.   The issue we are running into is the team got old and injured.  We invested in Agholor, Smith, Alshon, DeSean, JJAW and Reager ...  .. Agholor flopped .... Smith retired , Alshon and DeSean hurt, JJAW and Reagor not developed yet and both hurt ....   This isn't about placing blame or anything, just about the reality.     After next year they will be able to use FA if they like, but they will need to have one of these picks hit and or make another one that does.

Goodwin, Fulgham, Burnett, JJaw, Ward, Watkins, Hightower, Reagor.... Idk I have until seasons end to see how these younger guys do if by then I’m not impressed then mmm yea might I’d consider WR but right now not on my radar

That is my point what if he is drafted and isn’t more talented then the guys we have in front him him???? And he just sits as a backup his 4 years here and leaves. It be a wasted 3rd rounder in my eyes

LMAO every draft pick can have that happen, does that mean you stop drafting them? I'm NOT taking a WR in round 1.A third rounder would kind of assume he will sit a year,or be used sparingly until they know what they have? Is Reagor more talented than Djax? (I mean basically thats why we drafted him).We had JP,so why did we draft Dillard? I mean it's obvious he wasn't as talented as JP.You can wait for your players to gas out before doing something

Stine, my original post was about the media's reactions to Tampa and Dallas.... watching the talk shows... " Tampa has to be the favorite now"  etc... was a common theme.   Dallas was said to have upgraded the roster big time... simply with swapping Cobb for Lamb?????    This was my point.  Again, congrats to your minor point of Tampa's D not sucking as bad through 5 games (3 in reality) as they did last year.  That was a minor point to the overall point of my post at the time.

From Doug's presser:

Jeffery out for Sunday. No decision on DJax or Quez Watkins.

If Mailata plays well, he stays at LT even if Peters is available.

I think we will never get better unless we hit in the draft. Spending on FA's will end up biting you in the butt sooner or later unless you have a stream of rookies to eventually replace them. Look at our last 5-6 drafts and tell me where we had one draft where we brought in players that provided a couple day 1 starters and a few that have a chance to eventually become one....

The reality is if we can’t draft and bring guys along there is blame that needs to be thrown.... look at the list of casts you had most of them were drafted by those teams lot of them were 2nd and 3rd round guys

Thats why I am arguing we need to take another WR in this next draft.I'm scouting round 3 prospects NOT round 1's and I as in on Terrance Marshall. His teammate will or should be close to the first selected.I'm leaning towards parsons round 1 LB,then a DL addition, then Marshall. We have no round 4

I never said I was against drafting a WR just I’m taking the wait approach draft isn’t happening till after this season...if these young guys step up yes I’d rather draft in other areas over another WR we don’t need

Lmso yup because the teams that draft WR year after year after year are developing them not

Always need buddy,or why not just pay a mediocre QB? If you want to be in the SB you need both.I "like" our WR's but are any ELITE talent? I mean guys you would snag round 1 in your fantasy draft? I'm thinking no

IDK thats hit or miss, doesnt meant you stop the process does it?

93 SO which of our WR's  did you select with your first pick in fantasy?
