I’m not placing blame on anything. I think Hurts is just an extension of our coaches though.

So how do you separate QB from coaching?

They are in his earpiece. Calling plays.

Like every NFL QB?

Drafting Love to backup in the first round was a colossal mistake.

I know another team that did this lol

See I think this is where you miss a key ingredient in the game.

I see serious flaws with ARod also

He’s a Primma Donna

Or is he a perfectionist like Brady? Wonder how Manning would have felt if the Colts took away Marvin Harrision. Probably wouldn't be too happy

ARod wasn’t that guy at all

Never said ARod sucks. I’m blaming him for missing more rings also though.

I thought it was a team game?

9-1... every time the Eagles were 9-1they made the Superbowl or championship game.

That's the bar.   This is the " opportunity " where greatness takes advantage.    We shall see how the QB does now that these are the expectations.

What makes you great as a player or coach? Let me switch to Basketball. Was Coach K great taking our pros to win gold? Him winning by five when we are favored by twenty….is that great?

I don’t think so. I think greatness is a guy makes it happen when he gets any real opportunity.

Really clueless here.  The whole circumstance around Coach K taking the job ...when he took over they were in shambles.   Tell me which gold medal game they were favored to win by 20?  Anyone who knows basketball,  knows coaching comes into play during close games.   The shooting element is an X factor.   Horrible analogy.

Btw... was Tim Tebow a pocket passer or was his main asset his running?   What is his race?   That's where I see ignorance, when bringing race into the equation over the 16 rush attempts that actually occurred.  Ignorance is bliss I guess.

Invented the "jump pass"

Hater

I really don't care if they win all the rest of their games by 1 point.

As long as they win.

Of course that won't do my stomach any good.

What? WOW .Last year was a cake walk(similar to what the Pats had for 6 years running) beat beat up broken teams,3rd string QB's,teams with their playmakers etc. Still had the 2nd easiest schedule when the year began THIS year. Now that we have beaten up the lesser teams the schedule gets harder now. IMO coming back vs the 1-7 Texans, losing to the 4-5 Wuss, and having to have all the stars align to beat Indy doesn't really constitute the "big games". Those will come post season when we play the GOOD teams and last years "big game" was a 1 and done. So let's get to post season, THEN we will have the 'big games". Let's see if we can win 1 or 2 post season games with home field. That will be the proof

He's old,washed up,needs replaced

SEC Championship? National Championship? NFL Playoffs? Pretty big games in my book.

Tebow’s main asset is God.

USA Basketball got serious again…Coach K helped sell that so the best guys would team up. Really his biggest contribution.

The standings and the playoff bracket doesn't care either.    That stuff only matters where there are people judging for rankings.   No judgment in the NFL for style points, the final score is only thing that matters

It got serious again...the genesis was his hiring.

And you could say that his contribution ( after being hired)  was having the American players adapt to the FIBA rules.   Totally changing a lot of things.   Very poor analogy you tried to use there.   Shows lack of knowledge on the subject.

Any wins?

Well, assuming Hurts project is we keep him, then we can look to next year's draft and look at what we feel is most important to go after. To me Edge is the #1 priority followed by another DT. Obviously we have allot of expiring contracts so other positions will come into play. RB, TE, CB to name a few. But D-Line is the main area of concern for me.....

My list is DE,DT,ROT and a young promising DB. Basically as of now we have 4 picks(and 2-7th's)

That's fine, but rather disappointing due to the investments(monetary and drafting) we made on offense vs lackluster teams. So, I mean, I will take the W's and be disappointed I guess. I mean we scraped by the 1-7 Texans and lost to a 4-5 team with a BU QB(at home),had to come back with some LUCK to beat the mediocre Colts, and I expected better. The addition of the 2 old washed up DT's should help and can rotate when Davis comes back. I'm glad Howie acted quickly because the next run of games all have RB's we need to STOP

I’m all about getting a few breaks for a change to help us get a top seed.

Still feel we need to grow and evolve more though. Don’t think week two was our peak.

For the season, the Eagles have scored touchdowns on 71.4% of their trips to the red zone, which ranks fourth in the NFL. And they’re also scoring touchdowns 85.7% of the time when the reach a goal-to-go scenario, tied for fifth in the league. Both of those success rates are considerably higher than the league averages — 57.0% and 72.4%
