We have ALOT of WR's right now...............with limited ceilings. What cant you understand about that?

IDK is Wentz missing them or are they not getting open? Are they running correct routes? many factors here.Still that doesnt stop me from getting better players in at WR.if we do that and Wentz still sucks,then it';s time for a QB change(which we wont do-see Winston).So,the alternative is to get the best WR's in you can get,and with the cap that means getting the best WR in the draft you can after you address other things.I rarely(because thats me) choose a D player in round 1.it's an overwhelming need.One of the lines needs a top rook,then I go WR because that position is not where it nees to be yet.IDC if they play the rest of the year or not.They are "solid" but we have no spectacular guy that D's need to special plan for.so whatever,I am done with this back and forth BS.Our WR's are NOT at a high enough level for me.Maybe they are for you,so we disagree as usual.Done with this,but my bet still stands

Lmao 😂 yup but that 3rd round WR you want to draft is going to make us ELITE I forgot doesn’t matter we have 4 WRs that we drafted in the last 2 years and apparently won’t develop none of them. They are all limited and can’t play. 

And no late round guys and UDFA ever develop and have success how could I forget.... But that 3rd round WR going to be elite and fix all our problems

OK, If Reagor turns out to be a speed WR and Watkins adds to that
Speed, we have that taken care of. Ward seems to be a capable possession WR. Hightower and Fulgham the jury is still out, but I like what I see. So, we possibly have 5 possible WR's next year. Do we need to DRaft at #3 for another if this happens? GBFL thinks we do. BG thinks we are good. If this happens that Reagor and Watkins are the Speed we need, I think we are probably OK if Hightower and Fulgham perform OK. Sure we need another body or two, but not in the Third round.

  That is my $.02. I understand GBFL's need to provide as many weapons as possible for Wentz, but how about we double down on a RB? I feel Clement is done. Scott seems a carbon copy of Sanders, just not as good. I would like to see us get that Power Back as a compliment...

Also had this on my list of priorities at 5 since Sanders is a stud capable of playing all 3 downs and think it’s realistic to find a good RB late in the draft especially with Duce as the coach

Reagor is Nov. i believe though think able to come off IR next week maybe.... as for Taylor that’s a team decision for some reason we like Gerry and would rather play him over the rookie

Yeah it's amazing to me how fast we fell from grace back to .500(if that).I like the Fulgham pick-up, but like you,for me, the jury is out yet.I want a 3rd round WR because there usually you get a better player than at 7 or beyond.Nothing is set in stone and we have failed many times with picks like some others have.Also said, I LIKE the WR's we have,I am questioning the ceilings.These are PS players for a reason.Reagor got hurt pretty easily.Once again this brings into question the S&C staff,but if Reagor is out IDK that Watkins is the ticket.I DID forget we could re-do Goodwin,so that possibility exists,but I have not seen him play on our team.I wanted that round 3 pick so we can find the BEST out of the group and start promoting from within,like we were FORCED to do with who we have playing now.There are some nice RB's that will be around in 2.I wasn't expecting us to have this many needs 4 years after a SB(seriously).We need a restock at nearly all positions.As I stated, I would also be fine if we parlayed all those late picks into a 4th and took a WR there.I just don't feel we should rely on UDFA's to fill our starting roster.We are (once again) in a position of "pick your poison". It will be interesting to see what the team does. My guess is that the base offense will be Hightower, Ward, Fulgham and Ertz, and that JJAW will get looks at both the X and the slot. So maybe he plays 40 percent of the snaps?

The Steelers also play a lot of off coverage, so getting the ball to JJAW and Fulgham on quick hitters might work for us since they are bigger guys who are harder to bring down. I would like to see a lot of play action pass to freeze the linebackers and then short throws to them. The Steelers do have some bigger safeties, but they generally play a bit deeper because they blitz so much.

Appears Wentz trusts Fulgham more than JJAW. Does anyone really think Wentz launches that pass to JJAW

Because a conference is the reason a player is bad or is late to see the field wow.... Don’t mind the fact that USC is in the PAC-12 and produces numerous D players especially.... Or Stanford.... Oregon has had good players come out.
