Will we have Slay lock down JuJu? Seems like the reason we acquired him.

Would you consider Matt Ryan a Hall of Famer?

No he like Rivers to me

PFF ranks Pitt as the 2nd best pass rushing unit so should be a good test for our OL... If we can hold up vs Pitt should feel fairly confident in the unit moving forward

Wonder who the inactive will be today

Alshon/Djax/Suds/Maddox are an easy 4 Toohill will make 5 most likely

Huntley/Butler/OL guy..... So 2/3 of these likely fill out the rest of the inactive list

This seems pretty spot on. But I would like to see Huntley get some reps. Clement and Scott haven't done anything this year. If he's on the roster, he should be producing, especially since the guys in front of him aren't.

A guy to watch is TE Jason Croom. He's more of a receiver than a blocker, which is why he fell out of favor in Buffalo, but he had a decent rookie year and he might be a good fit in this offense.

Rodgers has been good this year, but Croom might offer a little more as a receiver. They didn't have three active TEs last week, so his elevation seems to be because they want to play him rather than as a hedge against an injury.

Probably, but they have some other WR's. Deontae Johnson and Washington.Big Ben's playing tough still. Wentz may have to pull some Houdinis today, they have a top rate pass rush.Wondering if we hit them with a few 3 TE set plays.Used at the right time, could throw off their D scheme

BIG(HUGE) game for Mailata. If he does well,he could unseat Dillard as the assumed #1.After I ranted, pissed and moaned and cried like a little girl about moving players around,I wonder if Dillard would play LG lol. That would be a pretty tough pair to get through. This is also the first game with LIVE fans.IDK Kelce,Dillard,Mailata would seem to me be able to protect Wentz damn well

The only mild disagreement ...I don't think the Rams are a good team...and yea they beat a bad Eagle team early in the season.

In back to back season the first 5 games of the season Doug and his staff underperform. Last year Peedy sat most of his starters in the preseason. They looked putrid, the lack of preseason cost games just like they have this season . Is anyone surprised that JP, DJax , Vinny, are again on the sidelines. Peedy's loyalty to his older players is problematic... Weather JP is healthy or not...  Mailata needs to play and continue to grow and stay on the field.  I doubt they keep this huge young OL playing together. We refuse to put our young players on the  field citing they are not ready..  Why did it take four  years to see Mack Hollins was a bust. Arcega Whiteside is he a bust ? With the new liberal use of Practice Squard personnel, why are'nt we more aggressively trying to find out what we have.

This new bunch did good work against a 49er Defense that were battling injuries, that 49er D is STILL formidable  and Carson was able to win with a Depleted WR Corp says a lot about this young group.

Ertz issue is money he seems disgruntled to me, I don't see the effort. The Eagles need to reward Zach loyalty before he sours on Philly.

Ertz needs to go.  Love him from 2013 to 2018... time has passed, not a top TE anymore.

I’d be curious then to see what Crooms role is.... I mean we use Rodgers as an inline TE he is the better blocker between him and Ertz... He fills the role Geodart usually plays... Ertz is the more flexed out receiver

I thought their defense looked a little more beatable when they were spread out rather than in tighter formations. So I would rather see less 12 personnel than more.

What I could see them doing is putting three tight ends on the field, but splitting Ertz and Croom out wide, and making the defense pick between defending them with a LB or a DB.

Yeah,I think we need to give them multiple looks and who knows maybe find a weakness we didnt see on tape.if we can keep this close the first 1/2,I would be all for the multiple looks.Put Croom in a few plays in the first, acclimate him, then maybe we can do some damage with him. IDK a 3 TE set would require all their LB's or at least 2 to pull out in coverage.Could be a little ,interesting "twist" to the game plan.If we are going to contend,we need to show up today, even if we lose we need to fight hard.Using a 3 TE also could help keep them from using safety blitzes?

Kelce "No One Likes Us" Limited Edition Hoodie

Would be a signature win if we pull it off today. If not, the trade deadline's coming up, a partial rebuild could be in order. That should include players, coaches and a realignment of Howie;s responsibilities.

This line is probably the biggest line we've ever fielded,  These guys are athletic for 350 lb men. I hope they rise to the challenge.

I think it depends. If you have a tight formation, it allows them to bring pressure from unexpected places since everyone is near the oline. The Texans got beat by this a lot. Half the time the oline didn't know who to block, and the RBs weren't great at picking up the free rushers.

But I think having three legit receiving targets at TE makes it harder on the defense since they offer the chance for quicker throws, which defeats the blitz. It also allows them to do some interesting things in the running game, especially since the Steelers are undersized on defense. So you can use the TEs to block at the point of attack and get the Olinemen to the second level.

Think they lost Mailata as 6’8 348 and pretty sure Lane hint that, that was just being generous and he was actually bigger then that

He has to be 370 by now. He is much bigger than when he first started with us.

Toohill, Huntley, Sudfeld and Butler are the healthy inactives.

If I were a team owner I wouldn't have a GM, I'd have a managerial board that made group decisions. Teams have that, but only to a certain level, the final decisions are made by 1 person after considering the opinions of others.

Not sure on this approach I want someone that will listen to a group and take in others opinions but at the same time want to be able to hold someone accountable as well.... How do you hold an entire group accountable... Might have bad picks still but some might not have wanted that pick just lost to the majority

Hasn’t worked for the sixers

Even when we had Joe Douglas I found it confusing.... Somehow fans praised Joe for his draft picks but only good picks and all the bad ones were Howies which never made any sense to me....

Even looking further into hindsight now our drafts with Douglas aren’t that stellar... Who do we really have to hang our hats on 16-19 He wasn’t part of the Wentz draft

Geodart maybe Barnett some decent late OL Mailata, Pryor and Sweat

Dunno about the 76'ers situation, and I used to sit in the Scot paper box at the old Spectrum - for the Broad Street Bullies too! Just was in business a long time, studied mgmt science and have found group decisions better.

IDK,seems to me a Mailata/Dillard combo on the left would be like trying to run through a brick wall

True, but conversely,if they do a safety blitz that should leave someone open.If they do that and we have called a crossing pattern from the slot,we could burn them. They have very few weak links, but my thoughts are that could be one
