I'm kinda waiting to see if Purdy was a fluke last week. Although it doesn't take alot of talent to hand off to Caff

Do remember you saying that and I agreed except think it would be the more injury prone areas - linemen etc. Look at what dullass is going thru - where are you going to find SB worthy linemen this late in the game? Do they think JP scares us now? A little speed he's done, can't play a whole game and you're toast rotatating

Read a story the other day where Siri demands communication between all depts - O & D. At the end of the O part he said he communicates w/ everyone and then talks w/ Kelce. This team is going to miss a lot when he goes. I remember supporting him when a lot of peeps here did not. The guy is 1st rd HOF and just may be the best C of all time imo. Wish I still lived down there and could have had a beer or 5 w/ him.

I’ll back ‘58 here. Probably should get involved. But he clearly meant nothing malicious. We all go back for a long time. Used to be…and should be more slack without such easy offense taken here. I think I’ve been on here since dial up or something. Back then many of that crew had no mercy. Brutal. Think the site had tons of readers but they were too afraid to even post. I don’t approve of being brutal. But there was a higher level of accountability. Very knowledgeable hard core Eagles fans. So you had to bring it on your point or you’d get ripped to shreds. But the football knowledge and discussions were mostly at a much higher level. But also had some real dope losers that we had to deal with also. I don’t want ‘58 or anybody feeling it’s just not worth posting. Everybody loses. Did, and still do want everybody to feel what they post needs to have a certain  bar…by knowing there will be responses. Need more intelligent discussion. ‘58 brings up and excellent point of what has brought this site down instead of grow. Not any attack on you alone FL. But this is what I strive for this place to be. Can disagree and have differing opinions. All great…from a knowledge hard core Eagles fan. Expectation should be you gotta bring a good argument for your point of view that you can back up. Posters can’t get uptight and offended over anybody disagreeing with them. Be a man and have thick enough skin. Listen to the differing views. Be open minded. I like to think I’d present my idea or thought. So clearly that’s my opinion. But if somebody makes a counter point well enough I’m open minded to listen and possible change or at least need to adjust my opinion. That’s when this place was at its best. I encourage all to post and share. I try and read and follow the discussion. So I’ll likely respond in some way. I believe my responses can vary from support to disagree….to many times just simply adding my little two cents to add to a point. This is the ideal way this place works to me. I’m probably guilty of being on the negative side at times. Hoping I mostly add to the discussion mostly. Thinking I bring a few different ideas and points of view for everyone to consider. Something to think on…agree or not. That’s my goal. We all win by raising the level of discussion. Let’s all raise the bar on ourselves! Post away ‘58. I’ll respond most likely. But you clearly are a valued member that has brought things to the discussion. You probably might even point towards me as the toughest…because you know I read and respond. Have confidence in yourself. I find I agree and disagree with you. You know you’ll get my two cents. So crazy how at certain times I remember you and I in total agreement. At other points in the team total opposites. Do you regardless. Sorry if I am too much the problem. My intent is the opposite. Just want to share educated thoughts about our Eagles addiction. Bat things back and forth. If this place becomes to stressful or the discussion to low a bar…won’t be anybody left.

Yeah it would allow 3 more spots for whatever. Players seem to be getting hurt more than they used to despite all the precautions???? Just seems weird. maybe it's just there is more attention paid than before.

He could.I hope he is prepping Jurgens. We also drafted Dickerson as a "center" LOL. Maybe Jurgens takes over at RG?(and an emergency BU RT). Kelce still playing great ball.It's up to him when he hangs up the cleats. You know what's nice? We never hear about Mailata or Dickerson by the announcers. That means they are doing their jobs

So if you're SF and Purdy is lighting it up,what do you do with the 2 other QB's? Jimmy was playing well too(even before Caff). They would basically have 3 starting QB's lol. it's a nice spot to be in but rather confusing I would think

IDK why dem boyz are "America's team". More like the Folsom/Attica team. I gotta say Houston may suck,but they have been showing alot of fight recently. Lost some close games. I was hoping they would embarrass dem boyz

I think dem boyz are WAY overrating themselves. I mean they had to fight to comeback against a 1 win team? Seriously?(although I shouldn't talk,we lost to the wuss lol). A win this week means they make post season.I wanna smack them in the mouth after they do the week after. i want to beat them,yet hold a few things out cause we could see them in post season,but a good beat down would make me feel terrific

The goal of the GM is to put a better roster in place than the other teams.  I'm trying to see which GM did a better job in 2022 than our guy? 

Our GM had some great moves and some massive flops. Actually think what put us over the top was him having huge great players fall in his lap. So a long post this has to be to go through all the moves. Was Rosie great at bringing back Harris as his top master plan starting S, after even already seeing him fail here last season? Bring in Tartt? No real cost move there so not killing him on giving him a shot. What about his Ridley trade? Was he brilliant there or extremely lucky? So once you acknowledge Rosie got extremely lucky his first three or four WR moves he failed at actually worked out unbelievable. He was trying to do those things first. What I educated guess as Rosie’s fourth move at WR became Hurts buddy AJ. Great move. So he was really kind of sucking but got bailed out with arguably the best possible move in the AJ trade. How you judge Rosie there? End result fantastic! But you’d have to ignore his other intentions that weren’t very good that had to fail for him to even be able to get AJ. If he completes the Ridley trade does anybody think he still could make the AJ move? What else happened on offense? Brought in Pascal. Think that’s more on Siri really. Not much results there but not much investment either. Drafted a backup C who doesn’t play. Drafted Calcatarra. Jury out on him. Time of need has been here. So he’s been forced into action. A few good plays. A bunch of bad plays though too. A day three rookie though, so expectations have to be measured based on that. Extended Sweat. Great move. Picked up Reddick great move. The Fletch situation is complicated. Good and bad and everything in between with him. What parts you all pin on which season matters I guess. Think the LB White move looks good. He’s not blockbuster. But wasn’t too expensive and added that coverage element to that unit. Traded up for Davis. Huge team need draft selection. At what, 13, can’t say he’s even played enough snaps to jump for joy about his production. But readily admit the team weakness and scheme needs him. Better with him…but he peaked at 33 percent snaps a game. So you could make plenty of case on both sides there. Team need makes it look like a good move more than actual rookie year production. 

I pay attention cause they are competition and we have to beat them. They have some good players and can do some damage, they could actually beat us. In this game you better consider every team, every week, that team can beat you. If no you'll have Wuss.

We play at ATT this next time. I love to demolish them in front of the home town idiots. I want Dak,I want Zeke,I don't want 2nd stringers,I want the best they have. I want no excuses. I think Dak will be running for his life

And you wonder why I think about the secondary for next season? There are contracts and negotiations, a bunch of bs before we get there. Right now I think it's a high consideration for the 1st pick in the draft - but before the negotiations and such I can't see spending time on it. Heck, McShay has us taking that RB Robinson w/ the 1st pick, another "talking head" has us taking him at 31 - which is kinda cool cause that means he has us winning the SB. Think about winning the next game.

Mailatta seems way too nice to be nasty on the field. Remember Dawk saying how that switch gets thrown once he came out of the tunnel

Robs won't last until 31 lol. Posted an article about Sutton. I think Howie is(finally) seeing what vale a top secondary brings. Still need to rebuild the lines,those are Howie picks. If Sanders wants too much I could see Gibbs at 31,but Bama missed the playoffs so we won't see him again. Only 4 picks as of now(I'm not counting 2 7's),so they need to be spot on,at least the first 3. But let's see what Howie comes up with in the offseason
