Dak is out with a broken ankle

Lookin' like cowgirls' fans might get to see what it's like to go w/o the starting QB for a while

The terrible division gets even worse

No longer the "Beast of the East".  Now the "Least of the East".

Some observations:

* 1st int was not Wentz’ fault. Timing throw and Ertz got knocked off his route with THE BALL IN THE AIR. Clear and obvious PI that was NOT CALLED.

* 2nd int had no impact. Game over no matter what there.

I was SHOCKED when I saw Gerry lined up over Claypool on 3rd and long. SERIOUSLY? Gerry, for being a former safety, is a liability in coverage. Wait, all of the Eagle LBs frankly stink. Singleton might be the best of the bunch, and that is a bad sign.

McCloud played very well today!

Dline was very average today. Happens. But that is a fact. Dumb neutral zone infractions costing valuable yards that were killers.

Oline was average - very good for backups....BUT the refs are letting Olines hold BIG TIME this year.

Really concerned about Lane Johnson. Eagles don’t win when he is unhealthy and/or doesnt play.

Niners injuries have caught up to them. They are in serious trouble!

I think ATL is in Tank for Trevor Lawrence Mode. From Clemson right to the big city of ATL. They go straight from Matt Ryan to Trevor Lawrence.

bash Schwartz when we lose and praise him

Nope my stance on the CBS have been the same for awhile I acknowledge Schwartz strengths as a DC but never praised how he uses our secondary

our secondary as a until it second rate

We say this every year yet we had Douglas who playing extremely well in Carolina...Heard Sidney Jones had a nice day for the Jags.... We have Schwartz an pro bowler in Slay.... Why can’t we field a secondary????

I’ll praise Schwartz for being able to maximize the DL I think for the most part Schwartz is a strong RZ D coordinator tend to keep teams from scoring TDs(usually not always) but for whatever reason our CBs always struggle no matter who he has...

Schwartz also always seems to have some D called that leaves me baffled usually only 1 or two plays but I’m left speechless like LB covering Claypool today guy who already had 3 Tds on us and was shredding our DBs

Or the sticks D which in theory I understand but when our guys seem to wait for them to run right to the first down marker to make the tackle and we let up the first down on 3rd or 4th 15 plus I’m left speechless

I know lol. Actually he is more of a pure passer,he could actually make them better. He is already in sync with Gallup.BTW whatever happened to Dez Bryant?

https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/ncaafb/trevor-lawrence-travis-etienne-shine-as-clemson-blows-out-miami/ar-BB19Uji3   I would love to add Etienne to our RB room.I know we need lots of things. Parsons (LB in 1), then I would look at Etienne (if he is still there in 2).I think Mailata will be our starting LOT moving forward ,move Dillard to LOG or ROG with BU potential at OT(either side).Thoughts????

I rewatched the game and have some thoughts.

They have to run behind Mailata. I don't know why they don't do it, but they don't. He blocks guys 10 yards down the field. Yet we ran either insider or behind Lane, who was clearly hurt. Also, at what point do we bench Ertz? He kills us in the run game and doesn't make any catches anymore. He can't play TE. At this point he is Greg Ward, a slot receiver who never gets any yards after the catch. Except Ward is at least a willing blocker.

Nate Gerry and Duke Riley kill this team. Every week it's the same thing. If we cut Gerry right now, no one would sign him except for special teams. Singleton isn't great, but he's so much better than Gerry I struggle to find the words to express it.

Mills did okay at corner but he had a few really bad plays, including on the Claypool touchdown (the second one) where he just spun around for no reason and let him run right by him. But he's fine as a CB2. He tackles well and is usually okay in coverage. But for the life of me I don't see how anyone could pay him $4 million when you had Douglas available essentially for free.

Ben is a pro qb, and sometimes those guys make plays you just can't stop. But we made things way too easy on him. He rarely had to go to a second or third read because his first one was open. That kept our pass rush from being effective.

We got a few bad breaks. If a few plays go differently, we win that game. Which, given our injury situation, is probably the best we could hope for.

I think, though, that Schwartz has to go. I am guessing he has a say on which players we cut and which players we keep, and he definitely has a say in who we play, and he has made way too many mistakes in this area. Plus, his scheme is horrible. We get beat by the same plays week after week and nothing changes. How many reverses go for big yards against us? How many goofy bubble screens that don't work for any other team in the league result in walk in touchdowns against us?

I think there is talent on the defense, but Schwartz can't find it and doesn't know how to use it. You can see Slay getting worse by the week, and that's just sad. At some point Schwartz has to go before he ruins another good player.

Ag playing great for the Raiders, yet another not coached well here.

I am not sure Dillard has a future here if he loses the LT job. He doesn't seem like the type who would get excited about moving to guard, and I doubt he would be excited about being a backup.

We have Tega, Toth and Driscoll as OT depth. Just trade Dillard, preferably for a linebacker. Tons of teams would snap him up.

Disturbing the mistakes that cost us this game...false starts, dropped passes, Defense sucked again.I watched Douglas and Jones making strong plays for their new teams. Our guys just don't seem good playing for us. They go somewhere else they become superstars. I think we have a New LT lets see if he can hold down the spot.

Will keep my eyeball on this guy too,if we let Ertz walk

Noone who plays OT gets excited to move. Depends if he wants a paycheck or not.Could be a good OG and as a BU OT also.I would Draft Parsons, trade Dillard for a decent CB

Besides Driscoll, not sure the other guys could handle it.Haven't seen them play

Late round QB for us Zac Thomas-App. state .Late round RB for us.Trey Ragas-Louisiana.I'm working a little mock.Looking now at round 2 CB's(I know it';s early but our scouts are already out there lol) I need to scout Lorenzo Neal for our D line(Purdue)

Neal,no.Too cumbersome. Not quick enough for me,so he is out lol

Schwatz brain fart?

Did better than I thought going in, made it close for a while, even had my hopes up. Wentz did enough for us to see he's still capable and keep us wondering if he can put an entire game together. Saw a lot of open guys he didn't go to. Foles saw the field better imo.

??????   Guys were open??????   with running straight lines?   I must have watched  a different game.  BTW  29 points against this D is pretty impressive.  29 points with these WRs very impressive.  29 points with  a TE who is shot... is impressive.   I will say, I thought Doug called a good game.  With some better protection and a Hightower catch in the end zone, seems like we could have hit some big plays.     #13 seems like a player, would be huge if he could be a legit #2 outside WR.

Big observation... tackling was bad, a few plays we could have gotten off the field on 3rd downs before they scored.    Maybe the LB philosophy needs to change?  Like maybe we should get 2 or 3 that can play??

GB - Never paid a thing - it's Reddit! Try several links until you find one that works. I can only give you the info, the rest is up to you.

Time to pull Wentz if we don't score on this drive. He's the reason we're losing games this yr. Time to see what the b/u's can do. Got paid, now he sucks.

?????   dude... 29 points in a game he got hit 20 times on 40 drop backs???  Throwing to a WR corp who had 56 combined 58 combined catches coming into the game... 40 plus from Ward?   The defense gave up 38 points... we scored 29.. yet it's Wentz's fault ???????   WTF is going on with this fanbase????   It's a team sport.  Right now our team is on IR.  And looking ahead, we need to purge the whole skill position from all the vets and start over.  Maybe the same with the OL.  Either way 29 points vs the rested Steelers who got 20 hits on the QB?   I mean would be awesome if we could score 20 and win like Chicago did Thursday.... maybe throw a ball up and have a Jimmy Graham completely steal the ball away from a defender.... or maybe just have a Hightower catch a ball that was right on target in the endzone????     I'm not sure there is a tougher job right now in sports than playing QB for this Eagles team.   IDK... losing 4 OL, the top 3 WRs, IMO the best TE, a running game where the coach refuses to stick to...a defense that can't stop a bubble screen ... but yeah, it's the QB?
