Why is no one talking about Kelce? Also, there was another TE in NE that was better than Gronk, but he was a POS. His head was all messed up.

No way....Hernandez was good,  but not Gronk level.

I can’t really find a comparison for Jalen Hurts. I don’t think the NFL has ever seen a player like him before.

Huh?? Define "like Hurts". You telling me noone plays similar to him? He is a "new breed"? Nope not buying

I DO feel Dean is ready to play now. We do not know about Jurgens because of the guy playing in front of him. So really not fair to say they could not help us now.It could be that these players could start for over half of the teams in the league. We also know, that you take the best player, even if he is not a position of need. Are you suggesting we take only the best player only in position of need? If so, I would strongly disagree with your line of thinking....

Oh we want to start up the BPA vs need battle again? LOL IDK why this is even an issue. Usually guys around where you pick that are ranked at positions you NEED. And once again how do you compare a QB to a LB? If you need both which is the BPA? We have been drafting for needs and doing a fine job lately and what we can't find we go out and get in FA. I trade back if there are no guys worth taking I have on my board or move up- because he is a guy I NEED on my team. I'm not selling off every other pick we have to take a QB at 2 if I don't need one because he is the BPA. I have no NEED for a WR right now,so unless a round 1 superstar falls to me in round 3,I will select someone else

If you were a GM and could choose any QB to lead your team. Who would you pick? I would think that Hurts would most likely be #4. That is great IMO. I would put Mahomes, Allen and Burrow in front of him. Maybe Burrow could be switched with Hurts, but we are splitting hairs. Rodgers is a better QB, but at his age I prefer to go younger.....

This may be my last post in awhile. Today is my last day and I am not sure when or if I will access this site from home. Take care all and God Bless......

If you were to pick a team with the best OL how would you rank them.  Same ranking for weapons?

I imagine a couple teams would match the QBs you mentioned , some in both categories.

Looking at recent MVPs.... iMO those things have been an impact all the time... except for maybe Wilson and Rodgers, when they were at the top.

Btw... these are considered the best teams in the league along with SF.

Interesting to see the impact that has on the perception of the QBs. But you can also see impact of the lines.

Other than Joe Mixon... not really seeing a top RB in that mix.

Idk...you think Dickerson and Jurgens were need picks?   Milton?

Parsons was a need just as much as Smith.   Davis was a need...but didn't you have him as your BPA?

Reagor was a " need" pick...Dillard.    JJAW.    I would disagree with your post....I think they got their target....roster just had so many holes everything was a need.

Sounds like we may have a match this draft if the DL is the pick....seems like everyone saying DL is a good choice as the BPA as well.

Both Dickerson and Jurgens were drafted to replace Kelce(supposedly) Replacing older players that could retire or wear out is a need is it not? Upgrading your BU's is a need that runs 365 days a year. Why take  a "BPA" if he is not an upgrade over what you already have?

You can only pick 1 of the 2,so that point is moot

Yep all needs,we just picked the WRONG players, that is a different topic, but yes the positions chosen were needs at the time. Turns out none of those picks were the BPA? So,we will continue to disagree as we have for years on this

Congrats on your retirement. Should truly be a "happy" holiday for you. It takes some getting used to.took me about 6 months.

It's especially nice when the BPA also fits a need. In round 2(where we took Jurgens) there were a number of WR's who were BPA's yet we skipped over them, why?  Surely taking 1 of those would have improved our WR BU room?  No we choose Jurgens to learn and replace Kelce. Obviously this was a bigger NEED

RG3   Kyler Myrray

The more hits you set yourself up for the more likely you are to get a serious injury

I'll put Josh Allen in thet category he just hasn't gotten seriously hurt.............yet

I didn’t say anything like you’re going on about. We simply we discussing GM impact this season. Like I said i like these draft picks. Just solely discussing 2022 impact they’ve done nothing. Just that simple obvious point…nothing more. Think you kind of caught the discussion in the middle maybe is all. Potentially good players…,that haven’t played.

Go ahead and tell me any player that brings everything to the table like Hurts….that’s ever played

I’m fine with your list. Allen is incredible but has made mistakes several times that were very key and costly. So I have to question his ‘cluchness.’ ARod and Brady just nowhere close being in such twilights of their careers. Herbert has to be mentioned. Guy is a stud with incredible arm talent. Think many would put him ahead. That’s the whole list right there though. Think we are very fortunate!

So again... how did our secondary look going in to the last 2 drafts?  Or LB... you don't think they would have been need picks over Dickerson and Milton.  Remember the dude who didn't slap Howie 5....the dude that wanted a CB.

The Eagles obviously felt that they took the BPA.  Which in Dickerson's case came with an injury and he was supposed to back up.    The need would have been to take a starter at the other spots.

Yet we might not get the top seed?
