I mean,  clearly the Giants rookie pass rusher was poked in the eye.... would have been an easy call for the ref to make.   Idk...maybe the player was told by the ref to act like you get hit in the eye and if it's a TD we can call it back?  Maybe poor communication from the refs to the Giants player?

Idk if it Makes sense if the fix was in...to tell the players???

See that’s where things get real sketchy. Refs have been in on fixing games in sports. Players have also. But if they combined it right there I’d have very strong feelings about it…if it came out that was the case.

Ham...you are saying a bunch of what ifs and being non committal.

I brought it up in the 1st place....remember.

But this idea that the Giants players being involved????    Really?  Because the one on McClaren had zero to do with the Giants.

And yes, the defender had to grab him there because the WR had position. That happens often...it's up to the refs to call it.       To say the player was in on it.... that's a stretch.

I can see the players involved in point shaving etc. I can't see a player involved on the team that is supposed to win?  They aren't changing anything in that case because they should be trying to win?

I saw zero fishy from the players... both teams made great physical plays all night.   The refs at the end...very sketchy...with the worst the call on McClauren.

I can see missing a PI call or just letting it go to an extent.  The BS from the ref talking to him and not telling him to move up??  Come on.

I may have missed it but i didn't see anyone say the player was in on it

Looks like Hurts out with a shoulder sprain

So if Hurts is really out do they rest other dinged up players?

Oh, and i don't wanna hurt my arm patting myself on the back but I DID say i thought the Jags would beat the Boys.

SO bash me(cause I know you will anyway) for wanting Shew to get some game snaps in. Now he has to CRAM for the EXAM. I'm glad it's nothing serious, but this is what you get with running QB's(see RG3) IDK how I feel about it. I'm sure Dullaz will be coming after Shew

Well this is why I wanted to see Shew play a bit. It will take a little time for him to get in the groove. Not playing him just means it will take longer. I hope this O line can keep the pocket clean until he gets more comfy. it IS nice for him that Goedert will be back. Thats a HUGE "out" for him" Shew not really a runner so we need to keep that pocket from collapsing. It's a tall order since Hurts could take off and Shew's not that good a runner. Game plan change is needed since they are 2 different type QB's. Goedert will help there and I suspect after a series or 3 Shew will find the WR's. It may take until 1/2 time. We shall see how it goes, but there was a 7 point swing in the odds. Shew won't have any chemistry because they never let him play. If he gets that down fast he should be fine. O line will make it or break it

Yeah, happens on the final play plenty. But that giants defender went overboard and did several different times. Because he held the ball so long. One grab or whatever. But he just didn’t care. Went flagrant pass interference like three times. That’s why it seemed like he was given the go ahead perhaps. A ref can let se stuff go. Can miss a call. But this was several times. All just not even descreet.

Arghhhhhh

WTF

Trust the coaches my a**

How did Hurts stay in the game after spraining his throwing shoulder?

Borderline negligent

Freakin morons!

I’m so pissed right now

Ziggy Ansah was a freak pass rusher. Played through his shoulder injury and never was the same

Hurts damaged his throwing shoulder. Fu23in Morons. Why was he playing still? We all know Hurts will play through whatever. Coaches and trainers had to look into it. This is the kind of stupid crap that we exactly couldn’t afford.

I was labelled a "hater" cause I called Hurts a ball hog. It's not "bashing",it's just a FACT and I have been consistent saying so. And so here we are. We need to use the offensive tools Howie invested in. If the O line holds, I see no reason Shew can't win this game. I'm happy it's not serious and Hurts can return. A good game will go far in helping Shew get a decent offer somewhere. it's not the Jets he played before. It will be a good audition for him or will relegate him to stay a #2 QB

MVP QB they have out there pushing his throwing shoulder injury. No way they could have really known the severity at that point. I want heads!

It's not serious,he will be back

I think they’d report it was minor if it was anything less than him totally having no shot to play again this season. They always downplay injuries. I don’t trust any of this.

Maybe he didn't tell them??? This goes back to me saying players WANT TO PLAY,not sit out

They know the whole city would uprise if they said it was something that could last into the postseason. So they never would admit that. Not unless he was totally done.

That’s exactly why you can’t let them decide.

See the reasoning

Did you read the article? It's say "no damage" it's a sprain.

Hurts will risk his career out there for his teammates to get that win
