Made the semi's in both fantasy leagues. Doubt I win this week after losing Taylor. I need someone to step up. I'm starting Minshew (and he has Dak) With Taylor out I gotta take some risks. Need Shew to be solid and Dak to be shut down and the Shew to AJ connection would help me also. The other league i have a good shot but in a QB quandry. I have Lawrence,Purdy and Tag and can't decide which to start/ I have tag in vs GB at the moment,but Purdy and Lawrence are on fire. Lawrence has a quick turn and plays the Thursday game so I need to decide by tomorrow if I am starting him(vs Jets D who seems to have fizzled as of late) I think Purdy(hurt) obviously has the best weapons and those multi cheap "passes" to Caff. Reddick really overcame the stereotyping and earned his place. Real happy for him. Seems like he had to accumulate multiple seasons added up to get there this year…with multiple teams.

I like how Maddox followed the motion WR. But then became the spy. We all know the main read for QBs has been off utilizing motion. So why not use it against them. Especially a young QB.

But you can’t hardly just skip Dime today. It’s arguably the third most important D package. Nickle is everybodies base. Goaline is crucial.

All 22 showed Davis has no pass rush.

Team need for run stopping was large. But trading up for a early down and goaline only player is pricey. Obviously opposite of what we’ve ever thought and done before.

We had some debate about Davis skill as a pass rusher. We all knew his mammoth frame could finally stop and take on double teams.

Great signing by Howie...nice to have the cap space to sign a stud like that at the beginning of free agency.

Seemed like the prevailing thoughts were he could rush the passer. I didn’t see it. College he came out for that. But that forty time I think got people thinking it would translate…into QB pressures

Idk...how us the Tampa defense with the V guy in the middle...seemed like night and day when he is in or out.  I don't think it's his pass rush?

There was this game vs Washington...where " weakness was exposed"    amazing the impact of stopping the run has on a defense?

I guess it depends how you define having the cap space? We didn’t have any last year. Didn’t have much this year.  Or next. So if you mean having 2024-2025 cap space for 2022 play we had that. Is that having cap space? It really to me seems it’s not having it. But we can spend and push back that bill to get him now. So he was acquired. But we didn’t have crap for cap space.

We took on 3 mil this year and next on a contract that averages 15 mil.

Idk...wasn't he supposed to come back from injury later than he did.  On one hand one could say to rest him more.  A foot injury on a big man can affect the play... then on the other hand criticism of something that takes speed and quickness.  Idk seems contradictory?

And Dallas hasn't had much since George Bush was president.   I guess it depends on how you look at it.

For me.. simple...can you sign guys or not.   Do you have to let guys go or not.

Vea has more pass rush than Davis. But I guess that he is the ceiling for Davis pass rush. Hopefully push the pocket back some on the inside.

Dallas did sign guys on their Division winning team. But let some go. Now we winning the division. We’ll try to sign some of our own and have to let good players go also. Don’t see much of FA. It’s possible but means we let even more good players go. Get those comp picks though.
