SO when your team goes 1-10 why do they keep playing???? Why take the "risk"???? Quit week 12 and save everyone cause you're not SB bound

Then you play your guys. No postseason. Risk factors are much lower.

Thought this was all obvious

Most teams rest guys the last game if it doesn’t  matter.

To me this applies to the whole season. Postseason you go for it whatever you got. 75 percent you gotta go. Week two don’t play.

They would sell those if you paid Hurts $3.95. And you say you/re not naive?? HAHAHAHA oh man

Nope…he’d go to another team silly

So why did Hurts play last year? I mean we coulda saved him for this year. We shoulda sat everyone week 12 last year because we weren't going to the SB and the players could  have sent those checks back and stayed home with no risk at all

My answer is consistent here and we’ll documented. Coaches and younger guys needed that crucial experience. On the road versus the GOAT and superior very experienced coaches. Huge! I feel much better knowing they have that this season.

But you make the postseason you have a chance. Just because you say it’s impossible doesn’t make it so.

Odds weren’t great admittedly

I’m doing what’s best for the franchise though FL. Trying to be smart. Like if your RB is hot….you still don’t give him 40 carries  in a game.

Priorities are postseason without question

WOW call Lurie cause you can take Siri's job right now. I didn't know it was up to you. if he's hot,how many is too many? Tell me I need to know

SO your risk factor of injury goes down because you win?? Is this the last game this year???

So young guys need experience, but 1 play could get them hurt and you know precisely when that play is. You really are amazing. How much "crucial" experience is needed until they are "pro" enough that you sit them and tell them they can't play? We need to pull all the guys out so they can play in the Pro bowl

OK the year before then. I think we won 4 games. Why didn't we send all the guys home to avoid risk?

I hope Shanahan grinds McCaffrey to finish out the regular season. They really have nothing to play for. 2 or 3 seed…not sure that matters much. Other side from us.

Varies by player. Henry can take more than Sanders.

Doesn't tell me a thing. OK how many plays is too many for Sanders in a game. I mean exactly? Then I'll ask about Henry

There are major companies that crunch all these analytics. So it’s not really Siri’s job on the line.

What are you even talking about? I’m missing your point here.

SO what would their record be if they had Caff all year?

Avoid risk of what? Missing playoff games 15 months out?

Obviously. Players get paid to PLAY. Risk is part of WHY they get paid. This is the career path they chose. It's not really that complicated. They get paid accepting injury risk

You said you don't want the starters hurt,so the best way in a 4 win season is to send everyone home to avoid injury. They can just practice the next 6 weeks until the season ends. Why doesn't Houston just send everyone home????

Hard to judge. He really hadn’t toted the starting role like that much for a track record. Clearly I feel he beefed up this season to take more than previously

I do believe there is such a thing as overuse. In one game.

But then you also have career milage. Think that isn’t well known.

Then you admit you have no way of knowing when 1 play is 1 too many. I will play him as long as he wants to play. Maybe thats 15 snaps, maybe thats 32 but I would bet he would get ticked if I sat him week 15

A meaningless game is one play too many. PS much of that is.

To me it’s any risk that’s unneeded to a vey valuable player.

Any player that doesn’t play has a much higher percentage of being healthy for the postseason, agreed there?

So Houston should have sent everyone home 5 weeks ago. I mean it's pointless to play guys you are paying 15 million dollars to

Up 40-0 in the fourth. Do you still risk everybody?

Just trying to figure out your stance here.
