Last season Siri tried to have a shootout vs the far superior cowboy O. Completely stupid. Losing football. But stats were higher. Are we really debating this? Generating stats that don’t serve the teams purpose are worthless to the team basically. You seem to rather get AJ 150 yards week 18 than have him available to catch the game win game TD in the SB

So why pay the top players at all then? We' were taking about why you pay them to play went you went off in 20 more directions. So I will ask AGAIN,if we beat Dullaz are you sitting everyone???

I said I pay them to make a team. Team goal is the mission. Megatron and Randy Moss, Fitzgerald on the same team. Smitty on a team with nothing but PS level WR otherwise. Smitty team always down and losing. Clearly Smitty putting up the biggest stats in that scenario. You taking him over any of the other three right? You going guy with biggest stats? I’m going with guy that makes my team better.

Stats come as a result of good play usually. But you want the DE that feasted only on third string Oline to get every sack? Or the guy that was double teamed and beat two All Pros double teaming him? The guy against third string hit more sacks stat wise.

Just a bunch of guys chasing stats is your goal. I need them to follow the playcall. Okay as s team and do that job. Rogue players can get stats sometimes though. Every coach starts each postgame presser with "well we hand to get these FA as much as possible stats” if that pending FA didn’t go over 100 yards we failed today.” "We won by 20. But it was it was spread out stats. I did a terrible job coaching today.”
