Now the question is do you you just plug in Driscoll? Or do you put in Dillard at LT and slide Mailata to RT?

Definitely no. Remember Mailata as RT? Ugly!

he exact time period that this will happen varies from person to person, depending partially on the severity of the sprain

So could be a week????? Could be 5 years? The med staff would know???? An injury he didn't even know he had doesn't seem too severe??? And you are actually comparing this to Tua????

Yeah there have been 6 substations(electrical grid) attacked in less than a week

He’s good at RT. Dillard stinks at RT. But your probably focused on the game he forced playing at 75 percent at RT. Don’t think it’s fair to judge him on the game(s).

Sad news. They really need a 3 strike rule in the NFL as far as concuss protocol IMO. This would be strike 3 on Tua

I disagree. I know it is a touchy subject, but the ONLY person that SHOULD make that decision is INJURED PLAYER AND MEDICAL TEAM THAT HE TRUSTS. Cant have a three strikes and you are out rule. Every person reacts differently to concussions. I had 7 concussions, 3 of which I was transferred unconscious via ambulance. The good news is we know a LOT more about concussions now than we did then, but Each person is going to have to be treated on a case by case and concussion by concussion basis.

PS Im REALLY worries about Lane Johnson’s injury. This team does NOT win when he doesnt play.

Instability in our Franchise QBs throwing shoulder is a scary thought.

Why would he have instability if he has the required amount of recovery time?? (whatever number that may be) The instability occurs if you keep abusing it which he is not doing. Recovery time=no instability

Holy crap! THAT is scary news!

I only heard about the 2 in NC and the 4 in Washington state. Anyone can walk right in here and do whatever they want because none of these are guarded and neither is the border. No arrests,no suspects either. You are aware(I am) that 9 selected ones in certain locations go down at once we all go dark for months right? And yet none are guarded

Hmm. Ok. It SEEMS rash to say CAREER threatening based on those comments though. But thank you for typing the actual medical quote.

Huh?

Long term instability?

Yeah we disagree. This is the third time they didn't catch it(Tua). Players can't fall through the cracks like this. The NFLPA is failing the players they are supposed to protect. sorry to hear it but IDK what you were doing when you got concussed. If you were in an ambulance you couldn't keep doing whatever you were doing, yet they let Tua continue 3 times. We even saw the vids of his impulsive uncontrolled reactions, yet they keep rushing him back. He will end up dying on the field. And while the pressure is on to win, this isn't Rollerball and the NFLPA needs to step in and say hold on here!!!!

Yeah. Shew is alot better at rolling left and throwing than Hurts. Hurts still not real good at it yet. IDK how good Driscoll would be in post season facing the better D's. I guess we're going to find out now

"Adequate time to allow the supporting tissues of the SC joint is necessary to prevent long-term complications like pain and instability"                        If you can comprehend your own post the key words are "adequate time" That means whatever amount of time is necessary so the instability does NOT happen. This is a MINOR injury- MINOR. 1 week,3 weeks whatever they(the med crew and assorted specialists) decide is "adequate time"

I like him too. it seems QB's go to Indy to die like old race horses put to pasture

Haha. Good point. I was a jockey in my younger days. Ironically, one concussion I had where I did not lose consciousness for much time, (horse fell on the lead - two horses fell over him and me….saw it on video….another jockey falling at 40 MPH hit me), was not immediately diagnosed. Planned to ride in races the very next day. Thankfully I was too body sore to ride the next day….or I would have. Back then it was expected to "suck it up and get back on the horse”, PERIOD!”

OH interesting job you had!!! Wow yeah that would do it. Glad you survived it. Fairly surprised they don't make them wear full helmets. I guess I'm stubborn never wore a helmet riding my MC in FL(have to in NC) My thoughts were "I really don't want to know how much pain I am in after an accident" (AKA let me go riding in the sky) So,I suppose there are 2 ways to look at this. Then again, I doubt either of us made millions a year(I know I didn't)
