My take- 1)Hurts plays. We form a game plan more run based,or short passes to the TE's. Gnats have also clinched a playoff berth,so they will be head hunting and Hurts needs to be ready. 2) The alternative would be to start Shew. If it's clear by the 1/2 that we aren't going anywhere,Hurts could come in. I personally like option 2 better because they will have game planned for Shew and switching to Hurts would create alot of problems for them(we are favored by 14,but IDK if thats with Hurts or Shew in,I assume it's Hurts)

Huge spread is because the giants have nothing to play for.

Expecting them to play their backups. What could be more crushing and demoralizing than losing to the giants backups?

I'm pretty sure the Giants starters will play.

Nothing to play for? How about pride?

Giants say they're playing their starters

I would expect them to state that. They might begin the game with them also.

Think we answered any questions about a possible thought of having Shew return. Not much reason to consider bringing him back.

Next year? Probably not.

Might as well find a rookie more in line with Hurts strengths

Do you desire the one seed? Plenty of reasons to think it’s ideal. But a couple to consider it less than the best place to be. A big development becoming ARod and the Pack. Win and they’re in. You could easily consider them becoming and being one of the hottest teams in the league. Being the lowest seed….they’d be on a collision coarse for the one seed if they prevail in their first playoff game. Gannon’s D has appeared extremely vulnerable to even decent QBs. ARod qualifies as much more.

Sure they do,they can keep us from the 1 seed which helps them

He's the best BU in the league, although he probably will start somewhere else

He will start somewhere else. We all knew that he wasn't coming when the season STARTED??? CALLED IT!!!!!

Course

Finding out against better teams Siri is being out coached. We played sub par teams the last 2 years. Siri needs to show us he is worthy now. We gave him the team,we gave him the talent, this on him. A loss to the gnats and a first round loss in post season(as an AWAY team) puts us back to square 1

GB is peaking when they should. TB will be another to deal with. SF, also tough. Not real worried about the VIkes

AJ struggled to find any way to defend Shew on the pick in his interview. He was basically forced to just tell it like it was against Shew terrible play.

To give it to the cowboys?

He didn’t play well as a backup. He’ll be a backup somewhere else next season.

We don’t want him back…or shouldn’t. Not a good backup QB for us. Next!

Good timing. Saints and their coaches are the best.

Yes take the 1 seed.   2 games at home....and if Green Bay or any other team knocks off SF then even better.

2 home games vs 3 road games.   Not the time to let the mind wander into the abyss of stupidity.

More games on the road versus matchups is a legit conversation

We’d face Tampa Bay first playoff game as a Wild Card

Then possibly the Cowboys if they earned the top seed

"I know you saw Josh was released and everything (Sunday)," said the coach. "We'll take Josh one day at a time. I'm just really thankful that it wasn't more serious there. I know everybody in that stadium was holding their breath because any time that stretcher comes out, that's tough to deal with."

Based on replays, it looked like Sweat may have suffered a whiplash type of injury with his head snapping back as he hit Prentice. The edge rusher fell face-first on the ground and remained prone as medical staff took the field to tend to him and a hush came over Lincoln Financial Field.

Medical personnel first stabilized Sweat before he was carted off very slowly to the locker room while his teammates and many of the Saints surrounded him to wish him well.

Just figured I’d post this for those that didn’t see our game to give them a feeling of just how large an effect it had on everybody.
