That remains to be seen

I've heard he can't injure it any more than he has. The question is can he play through the pain.

Was Howell the NC QB?

Yes Howell was the UNC QB

Med staff will clear them for play or not, then the coach takes that and decides if that player plays. Those are the only opinions that matter

That's exactly that. We as fans don't know what's going on and i'm damn sure the Eagles braintrust isn't gonna put their franchise QB at risk or a career ending injury

Nope especially if they plan on signing "the big deal"

Why won't Hurts be healthy if he is cleared to play?:The staff and Hurts will make that decision. Why can't we be the 1 seed with a healthy Hurts? Assuming he gets through this game he gets another week off. BTW even after Hurts "injury" he was dropping dimes all game long, but I'm glad they did all the testing to find the real problem and not brush it off as a "pulled muscle" which they easily could have done. Not a bad injury, but glad they kept him out and let it heal up to avoid any future problems

If you look up what his injury is it’s a fairly obvious notable injury. As in, you can physically see it.

Yes, of coarse, everyone else is incorrect lol. If Hurts plays,Siri is incorrect,Hurts is incorrect, the med staff is incorrect and all the writers as well as everyone on this board in incorrect except Ham

Must win….is must win…don’t even know what you’re adding into that here.

I was really happy to hear that. He can communicate by writing, until his tube comes out,but he is awake and coherent. He asked if they won the game(Ham doesn't understand that players want to play ALWAYS). The docs told him he "won his life"(loved that response)

I absolutely understand players always want to play. Exactly why they need to be saved from themselves.

Tell that to Ziggy Ansah

I think what we all know is that Hurts wouldn’t be risked in this game if we had won either of the previous games. But he will be now because we’d like(not must)to win to claim the top seed. Notice how nothing here mentioned any difference in health of Hurts shoulder.

This getting pretty stupid.

We don't know the extent of his injury. The doctors and team do

We don't know if he is at risk for permenent damage any more than he would be if he played the game at 100%

Just look at the monday night game. A career ending injury can happen in an instant in this game.

Using your logic the Eagles need to sit Hurts every game for the rest of his career because he might get a career ending injury on the next play

I posted the exact medical opinion of a grade two SC sprain

That was the extent of his injury grade two

More than grade one. Grade two comes with a possibility of permanent instability in the shoulder of not healed correctly. Straight medical opinions here.

None of that has anything to do with what can occur playing the game of football.

Securing the top seed would be nice. But I can’t see many positive outcomes coming otherwise. Having to rely on Hurts to win any games. A total romp on giants wouldn’t really do much for us. But a battle with them having nothing to play for just further challenges our confidence. This last game against the Saints was a huge blow. Somehow that team has really been a nemesis. They were convinced they would have beat us in our Super season.

The contact part of the equation seems like the final piece of the puzzle with a team source admitting that the offensive staff might have to be a little bit more cautious with Hurts.

BS

"It sounds like based on the MRI and based X-rays, this is something he'll be able to recover from with some rest and rehab," Bishop said. "My guess is that he'll probably be out one to two weeks max, up into the playoffs and be ready to go."

Bishop says during the recovery, the medical team will probably focus on keeping Hurts' shoulder strong and flexible.

"He is working with some of the best physical therapists and athletic trainers and doctors to be able to get him back to full strength," Bishop said.

You can't physically see this unless you strap an MRI on his back. can you stop with the BS now?

My understanding was it sticks out…visually. The MRIs and X-rays are to really look into the extent of damages

Grade two are usually more visual to the eye.

There is no adding merely stating you think everyone else on the planet is WRONG and they are NOT,YOU are. Now let the STAFF MAKE THE CALL!!! If he can play he will PLAY.jebus

You posted the medical opinion of someone who hasn't examined Hurts

It's an internal pull away, nothing is "sticking out"

I mean, you should know by now, I try and educate myself about these things before I talk about them. Some of it from my experience and some from investigating and learning. But I’d think you’d realize I do this routinely.

I stated others being wrong having to do with MUST WIN. Just factually incorrect, unless you add an additional disclaimer….not sure what else to say about that. Him playing or not is a whole other subject. I actually stated I wasn’t sure there was any correct or incorrect answers on that subject. So please don’t lump two different things together coming out my mouth.

he could have a small lump,or not

I can give reasons why I could consider the game against the giants must win. But they aren’t anything you are speaking of FL. More based on confidence and mentality. Not technically. If we lost to the giants backups it is very hard for me to see us doing much in the postseason after. But technically we wouldn’t be eliminated.

Which you would visually see. One of the signs it’s more than grade one
