Gainwell has shown well as a third string Rb. He’s behind another third string RB in Scott. Gainwell made Scott the obvious number two. Sanders took over a much more bell cow role this season.

TB beat dullass 19 - 3 in the regular season - hope they do it again, just pleeeeeeeease show the jerruh scowl!

Not sure, if cowboys win terrible McCarthy likely keeps his job….they lose…again they might just fire him.

It’s kind of the thing like I hate to see Snyder go…because he’s been so terrible for them.

First can't say I am or am not a Gainwell fan. He's there in the RBBC. So far he seems "average". Now that being said, if you remove Sanders from the room,I believe he gets more than 240 yards??? Someone would have to make up Sanders yardage? Taking the lowest guys total and multiplying by 3 is what they would do in first grade. Please tell me you don't believe what you posted

I sure don’t think Gainwell runs for the same yardage Sanders produced just because Gainwell was named a starter. I actually think Gainwell benefitted as third string. My logic is more along the lines of if Sanders was looking for a breather that’s when the D was needing a breather themselves. Basically inflating Gainwell’s stats by timing.

I was down on Gainwell. Saw Siri try to give him every opportunity when the coach arrived. Then saw Gainwell lose those opportunities. Coach was favoring him in goaline and passing situations early on last season. Really dropped off as last season progressed and then this season.

Gainwell had several games with one carry. Just laughable that any knowledgeable fans still believe that’s part of any committee.

  • Author

RBBC is referring to any RB getting any carries now….😂🤣lord. I get it though. We were running the RBBC….previously before this season. You guys should pay slightly more attention to some of these details though. Sanders was much more in charge this season.

An arrest warrant has been issued for Dallas Cowboys rookie edge rusher Sam Williams for his alleged role in a violent December car crash.

How bout them Cowboys

No way to know, but keep guessing and assuming

It’s been the Sanders and friends Rb room. Has been no committee this season.

UM who was drafted in round 2? You'd assume that player has more talent than undrafted or late round picks? In ANY RBBC there is a "lead" back

Sure, it's a contract year LOL

What do attempts have to do with fantasy? And why can't Hurts and Sanders both have better performances the same year? Actually if you think about it BOTH are in "contract" years(yes I'm aware Hurts has another year) and I'm sure there is "unwritten" player laws that in a contract year you try to boost your teammates stats to get the big money,so no shock we see Sanders and Hurts both performing at a high rate

Ok....follow me here...

1. You were saying Hurts was a ball hog last year, bit not this year.    So I simply pointed out that he ran more THIS YEAR.

THIS YEAR HURTS RAN MORE

THIS YEAR HURTS RAN MORE THAN ANY OTHER QB IN NFL HISTORY.

THIS YEAR.  THIS YEAR. THIS YEAR!

But congrats to the Miles Sanders fantasy owners because he scored TDs this year.  But it wasn't due to Hurts being less of a ball hog.

If 4 guys rob a bank, and you drive the getaway car, you are still going to be arrested for bank robbery LOL

How many GL TD;s did Sanders have last year? How many did Hurts have?  Any changes this year? Any changes to yards for Sanders this year? So last year Hurts hogged, this year BOTH are having excellent seasons, doesn't change my opinion. Neither has to do with fantasy, why do you keep bringing that up? Stats are stats real or fantasy they are the same stats. Done with this topic

Gainwell is third string Rb…you’re the one slurping a guy’s juice.

Yea..he will be in the rotation next year.  Of the guys on the roster he is the only one playing each week that we know will be back next year.  3 of him and we are fine.

Sanders comes off the field on big plays.  Idk of any other RB worth paying $7 mil or more, that comes off the field  constantly on big plays?

He is a nice lead RB...not a bell cow. He can leave and we won't miss a beat.  You find guys like him every year in the draft.  Day 3 guys.   Same as Gainwell... just give me adequate RBs, need to keep the lines top notch.

Who cares about Sanders!   Why does he matter when discussing Hurts being more of a runner THIS YEAR.

The answer is simple...fantasy stats. Otherwise who cares who specifically scores the TDs?    The QB kept the ball more to run THIS YEAR!  That's simple fact!.

Jalen Hurts ....last year 10 rushing TDs.

Jalen Hurts THIS YEAR = 13 rushing TDs.

Perhaps the fact that Scott, Howard and Gainwell had 15 rushing TDs last year actually was more of a reason Sanders didn't score..  and you are mistaken that it's due to Hurts being less of a ball hog as he actually scored 3 more times in the same 15 games?

I make educated guesses

Siri picked his guy. Showed no love for Scott at all. Didn’t respect Sanders. That was how Siri came in day one.

He clearly studied everybodies tape. Made decisions.

  • Author

He left Scott out to dry. Scott could have chosen anywhere. Clearly didn’t pounce on keeping him or even rostering him. Scott earned every inch against what Siri presumed.

When Sanders got injured last season the proof was clear as day.

  • Author

We had nobody to remotely take the load. Gainwell is a third string complimentary back.

  • Author

Complain about Sanders TD stats. FL especially seems to think stats are everything. Sanders got hurt. Hurts scores at such a high percentage. But what I’ve noticed is Sanders did all the dirty work. Then Siri gave Gainwell the goaline opportunities.

  • Author

Gave Gainwell every chance. Passing downs also. But Gainwell fell backwards. Sanders got injured and Gainwell couldn’t step up. Doesn’t have it in him.

  • Author

I really like rooting for Scott. Hard worker. Runs hard. Does his job. Pedey didn’t believe in him. He proved himself. Siri didn’t believe in him. He proved himself.

  • Author

Gainwell I’ll give some credit. He’s shown more than he was. A few plays  more recently. Showed some vision. Ran hard. I wanted to replace him as third string though. So just thought he maybe started earning that role.
