I’d prefer three guys that beat out Gainwell

I think Gainwell is a better all around RB than Sanders RIGHT NOW. Sanders is good. Ironically I have purchased jerseys of the Eagles’ main RB since Westbrook. Sanders’ jersey is not in my closet. Doesn’t make me right. Just tells you I don’t love Sanders as the guy. And i would definitely not give him a big contract. That being said, I agree with you that he HAS played better this year than last year for sure. His blitz pickup has improved but is still the worst of the three existing RBs and he does not catch the ball well either. Makes him…good. That’s it.

I wanted to draft Sanders. Understood how little he was utilized behind Barkley. So he wasn’t hardened and pro ready. But still even after that he’s disappointed me somewhat. Until this season. Think he really made himself more in Siri ideal image. Made himself that guy who isn’t dancing and losing yardage. Keeping things going forward to try and keep us on schedule down wise. So we aren’t setup for third and longs.

Sanders scout report out of college was negative on catching. But just because he didn’t do much of it. Thought he showed very quality hands.

That first year

Hurts is the lowest QB utilizing those dump off passes.

  • Author

He really doesn’t like to check down to RBs much at all.

Saw how he’s always been one of the lowest to do it of any QB

But blocking Sanders sucks

  • Author

He bulked up…but just don’t think he’s ever going to be good enough at blocking

Scott the same. Just doesn’t have enough umph to block well enough.

  • Author

Gainwell has better potential blocking. Because he can do it. But he has mental errors still a fair amount. Capable….but doesn’t read his assignment still. So not helping there any better.

RBs don’t usually have some crazy route tree. So not really going super deep on route running between the two.

Like Reagor?

I really like rooting for Scott. Hard worker. Runs hard. Does his job. Pedey didn’t believe in him. He proved himself. Siri didn’t believe in him. He proved himself.

That's why he was re-signed because noone believed in him?

Jalen Hurts ....last year 10 rushing TDs.

Jalen Hurts THIS YEAR = 13 rushing TDs.

Perhaps the fact that Scott, Howard and Gainwell had 15 rushing TDs last year actually was more of a reason Sanders didn't score..  and you are mistaken that it's due to Hurts being less of a ball hog as he actually scored 3 more times in the same 15 games?

As I stated before, once AGAIN we have a much better offense that last year???? And everyone is doing better, what is hard to understand about this? Anyway no more responses about this,I have my opinion you have yours, end of discussion

Right now Cook?

How did you come to Gainwell being better right now? You gotta back this statement up with something.

Complain about Sanders TD stats. FL especially seems to think stats are everything. Sanders got hurt. Hurts scores at such a high percentage. But what I’ve noticed is Sanders did all the dirty work. Then Siri gave Gainwell the goaline opportunities.

LMAO no not everything but when your lead back has ZERO TD's in an entire season, I think it's worth mentioning

But I feel you’re focused on the all around part.

Like DeAndre Hopkins in the second. Hollywood brown instead of Dillard

Larry fitzgerald

I never even said Reagor

Pedey and AR need speed more than most offensive systems. We were slow. So yeah I was harping on needing speed. Not bringing back old Djax

Saw Pedey overpay for Kirk

I have a long list of WR picks I was correct on

WOW serious denial when we argued over pages about him vs JJ. You'd make a great politician

My track record speaks for itself

You can’t pin Reagor on me. Yes I mentioned trading back for a WR in a very large group of guys in that draft.

  • Author

I mentioned six WR that we could trade back and grab. Yes, Reagor was one of them.

Sure when you mention everyone in the first 4 rounds you're bound to be right LOL. "Educated guesses" means mentioning everyone that's draftable. I would imagine most guys that go in the first 3 rounds would find success???? Or why else would they be drafted?

Triggered LOL

We went head to head with two WR this year. It pretty much was a push. My second guy was the much later pick. So I went out on that limb and toe to toe with you.

I'm out,I can't stop laughing. Have a fun night

Why did Sanders not score?

I’m not totally giving Sanders a pass on that stat. But clearly Hurts scored at a very high percentage. I’ll take the score any which way

  • Author

But my point I keep making was Siri wasn’t high on Sanders

  • Author

So if Sanders dies all the leg work between the twenties and then Siri pulls him at the goaline…that isn’t Sanders fault. Feel similar on the pass catching. Hurts isn’t Captain Checkdown.

  • Author

Sanders caught 50 passes for 509 yards his rookie season.

Gainwell hasn’t come close to that
