But Siri pulls Sanders on passing downs plenty also.

Sanders didn’t catch passes in college. So scouts doubting his non experience I understand.

But how can you say he can’t after he did so well his rookie year?

Siri and Hurts limit him. Not as much he can’t do it.

  • Author

Siri chose Gainwell. But even he has been disappointed in his pick. So just not seeing how anybody has confidence in this kid.

Clinging to third string yet No Mas loves him. Cook believes he’s the best option.

  • Author

Just not seeing where you guys are coming from on him. Open to hear your reasoning. No Mas hates Sanders. Seemingly doesn’t think the RB room important at all. Total disrespect for the job. Clearly favors the old Oline mentality.

  • Author

But I hear No Mas make his case based on Oline and big picture stats. But to me if it comes down to those big moment crucial rushes. It means so much who totes the ball.

Plus I feel like Sanders is a playmaker. A real weapon. Don’t see Scott or Gainwell bringing that.

So when the Oline busts open that big lane….Sanders can take it all the way. Third stringer guys get good gains. Fairly big difference to me.

I’m seeing the Oline being overvalued now. Dline athletes have really jumped. Our thinking on prioritizing Dline…was ahead of it’s time. Everybody caught up now though. The huge money and focus seems to have really pushed the level of these Dline athletes today. The league is stacked with the biggest most athletic Dline personnel across the league we’ve ever seen.

Rules changed to favor the offense most everywhere.

But Oline didn’t get any easier.

Everybody seems to love our Oline. Nobody really even questions our guys abilities. So look at the results. They aren’t dominating like all the past top Olines.

  • Author

Commanders both games we didn’t see our Oline dominate. Lost that trench matchup. 72 and 94 yards rushing. That’s with Sanders. Titans we weren’t going to move them…67 yards rushing. Obviously Hurts threw all over them. But our Oline wasn’t going to bully the trenches.

  • Author

Cowboys stacked things when we really needed the Oline to bully and only produced 87.

Bears Hurts gashed mostly

Saints only got 67. Of course Sanders was injured and they dialed him back that game.

This is what we are getting from the top Oline in the league.

  • Author

To get to the big game I’ve been pointing at the Niners as the big issue in our conference.

  • Author

Anybody who thinks our Oline dominates their Dline speak up.

So it could be even worse…if we weren’t the top Oline

But these thoughts of just invest in Oline and third string RBs will carry us isn’t reality in todays NFL

We had nobody to remotely take the load. Gainwell is a third string complimentary back.

Correct and will be that 3rd string / 2nd string RB for the next 2 years on the cheap.  It's a guy that already plays on most of the key snaps.  Great piece to have in the mix.

I really like rooting for Scott. Hard worker. Runs hard. Does his job. Pedey didn’t believe in him. He proved himself. Siri didn’t believe in him. He proved himself.

I really like rooting for every Eagles player when they wear the uniform.  That should be every fan on this website.   Rooting for the team, not so much having to " call it"   that gets old!

The blocking RB that occasionally sees the ball. Great. Build around that. I prefer playmakers.

I’m sure it gets old for you to eat crow. Over and over you guys gang up against me on so many of my opinions. I always root for the team. But when I face such opposition on things that feel right. Over and over hear this bad negative crap….that’s wrong. Yeah I take all the lashes for months….about how obvious and wrong what I say is. So I earned any "I called it’s.”

I at least am willing to put myself out on that limb. I tell what I think will happen. I take chances on stating my opinions based on prediction plenty. Be real easy to just sit back an call everything in hindsight for me….like you. But you miss so many points even afterwards. Still trying to explain about how we won our only SB. You still think we assembled the greatest team of all time. So much more than that.

Who’s rooting harder than me here? Nobody

All I heard last season was how we didn’t deserve it. How we only beat backup QBs

  • Author

You pulled out some rare stat of how we haven’t beat some top winning team with their starting QB or something.

  • Author

I was the believer last season. Knew we could make the playoffs.

  • Author

This season you been saying how we couldn’t and shouldn’t lose. Like the NFL gives away wins. That a running QB(as you label Hurts) can’t win any postseason games.

  • Author

Basically the only prediction I’ve heard you mention. Hurts can’t win in the postseason….when teams figure out he runs. That every upcoming game is an easy win we can’t possibly lose. Felt to me like you’ve poo pooed every victory. Trying to buzzkill any accomplishments.

I just tell things how I see it. Good and the bad.
