I was saying we need the NT and the S. Maybe you can get the symbiosis now?

No I would rather have Davis and CJG

So Ham you can have shut down corners, but how long can they hold it? if you give any decent QB 7 seconds per throw they will pick your secondary apart. I would rather have the pass rush where you can also blow up running plays as well. So pick your poison. I fall on the "better pass rush" side, you fall on the "better coverage" side. It's 2 differing views, neither is wrong or right,it just IS. Howie is more on my side, just how he thinks. be nice to be so loaded somewhere you have the luxury of both, but I have never seen that

You need both for it to work. Exactly my point. Exactly what you really need to field a good  D.

On O you need a quality rushing attack AND passing attack. Same thing.

But you have to choose, because you aren't getting them ALL. Every team has to do the same

No S's on offense I am aware of or are we changing the subject again?

SO we HAVE that? And a nice secondary? Only difference would be your drafted S would be playing in place of CJG and we;d have no 10 pick next draft. We also "wasted" a 1 pick for AJ. If Howie is "wasting" picks,I hope he keeps doing it

Good teams do

So which positionals do you give up for a stellar pair of S's? DO that and you lose somewhere else. It's an ongoing fluid battle. Howie feels S's and LB's are the least 2 things to strive for. he will pick them up if they fall in his lap,but he won't overpay them

So name any team and I can check their strengths and weaknesses because all teams have them, because it's IMPOSSIBLE to have top rate everywhere. Dullaz is closer to this than you think even with that "bad" coach lol. I think the SF game will be a real all out war

I'm hoping they beat each other up to make them weak when we play either of them

If you can run the ball and pass it makes the D job much tougher. Example: if you run the ball for 7 yards on first down then the D isn’t just able to unleash the pass rush. You get to 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 10…which one do you think it’s much easier to predict a pass D situation? On 3rd and 10….you can easily unleash the pass rush dogs of war.

All 3 NFCBeast teams are still in

If I have a pass rush they dont get 7 yards on first down. My D will be in their backfield blowing up that running play and/or maybe sacking the QB

Davis stuff the run. I posted 2 guys I want to add. Add those 2 and they will be in opponents backfields all game

Tyree Wilson -edge Siaki Ika- DT to pair with Davis. GL stopping those 3 I DO have a CB with our last pick(round 3- Kyu Blu Kelly from Stanford although there are others also

Dallas has the personnel. They have good assistant coaching.

Pass rush doesn’t stop the run. Different job. That’s what Davis does.

Tougher in the NFL than what we see here, but he has the tools and if he can learn behind Slay a year he will be fine. Kids a great tackler also. Like how he keeps attacking even when airbourne

Looked terrific tonight

Really? 3 big bodies in the backfield has no effect? Seems to me those holes to run through would not exist. Nice 1 step push, then you can LB/S blitz all day cause all they got are the edges

Davis is a stuffer(now), he will learn how to attack, when he does he will be a force

But the HC sucks,right LOL

Howie got 3 pro bowl DBs.   How many teams have that?

Yeah finally he got lucky those other 2 became available and glad he pounced on them both. He went all in. Normally though we don't draft/have many. Maybe now with top flight guys, a light bulb will go on over his head and we will see more attention paid here. I still like his thoughts of keeping all the lines solid. Everything you do runs off that. He seems to like the DB's proven first. With the 3 here now, maybe a little brain picking goes on to help Howie know what to look for. Bradberry gets to face his former team now
