So,this would be excellent(not just because they are my mock picks) Davis, Tyree Wilson(edge) Siaki Ika(another beast DT) with the other lineman we have and now you have a young hungry D line that will trash QB's all year for 4 years.(check that box off). Five months prior I stated the easiest way for Hurts to lock in a new contract was to contend for MVP. Check. Same time I was stating how Sanders would have his best season and was key to our success. Check. I saw that obviously Gannon needed a Nose.  Davis is the run stuffer. Check. Was talking about trading back to get a S because the whole room was weak. Check. Was hesitant to trade with the Saints because this was a big year for us and would like to grow the young core together. Check. Actually became a SB contending potential season.

IDK ish, I am told that all the time(LOL). Yeah I see he "checked" off on things he didn't check off before. Funny how the story changed after some hindsight. We both said THIS YEAR was for Hurts contract,not the last "tagged" year. I'm not explaining the CJG pick again(check lol) Davis had 8 QB hurries in the little time he was on the field,YET he "is just a run stuffer". For now,that's mainly why we need him? Why we had to go get 2 old guys to fill in when he was out?? I say give the kid a little time,he will push the QB plenty as he goes on. He needs to REALLY get healthy/stronger so he can stay in for more snaps. Michigan did NOT need him as a pass rusher,they had 2 stellar Edge guys in the draft,so he was never pushed to rush the QB. I think he will end up being someone you DT at all times(do I get a check mark here???) BTW the kid hasnt been here a year and some are expecting pro bowl numbers out of the gate. Apparently I am FULL of hot air. I have no valid points,never have a contribution,I'm a hater remember?

Never gives an answer about CGJ being on the roster if we drafted a S.  Must have directly asked him about 10 times combined between the two of us.   Can’t have conversation when people don't acknowledge all the facts.  Check

This season no - can't depend on Davis rushing the passer - although it would be nice. Thing is, opposing teams will go the other way and we can trap them. Sequan getting better in the passing game, that's what needs the focus

But the truth is you weren’t talking about Hurts in MVP contention at all. You were questioning whether he was a legitimate starting QB. While I was contemplating him being in MVP contention. The huge divide between our thoughts.
