A starter…then backups giving him a breather isn’t a committee to me

No you are wrong Joe. Even 1 snap is not being part of a committee 🤣

No doubt. But can’t handle everybody the same. The key is knowing the individuals. Getting them to buy in. Whichever way maximized them.

So coming in to block makes it a committee?

What I saw was Sanders completely took the job over this season. Wasn’t a committee.

If that's his assignment he is part of that committee

Why I’ve been pointing out intangibles. Tried to explain to No Mas how we won our SB. It wasn’t just talent. That team galvanized together. Was so hungry and refused to lose.

OMG.. it wasn't just talent....no kidding.   Water is wet.    This is how you spin things with people.

GB was saying goal...you flip it to standard of 32 points.

I've stated the 2017 Eagles were the most talented team that year.. with depth too.    Doesn't mean that was the only reason they won.   That's the spin you put.

You..only you predicted the Eagles would blow out the Giants...only you?   Lol.

Narcissistic characteristics...you don't see anything else going on other than things about yourself.  That's what I'm saying ... you don't pay attention to what other posters are saying.   " dead money is genius "  idiot posts like that are what annoys people.  Pay attention so we can have a legit conversation.   Most of the time you make up that people are disagreeing with you when they aren't. They just talk about a different aspect or point of view.

i'm not going to allow AJ to decide my game plans.I have 52 other guys, the FO and the fans on me. If he is disruptive I don't want him. Now let's see how it goes from here on. We have 2 games to win and we don't need disrpuptions

yes thank you. He doesn't understand this

Blount and Ajayi were part of a committee. Went with the hot hand. Had a third guy share the load also.

But Scott and  Gainwell are not,ok got it

RBBC to me, means a shared workload. One clear starter getting rest with having backups sometimes …is just that. Not a committee.

Yes...you are out there working when you are on the field playing the RB position....snaps.

I have no words LOL. I will just let this sit here

You all have heard me rave about Fred Warner. We saw it first hand just last season. Guy was clearly the best player on the field.

Everywhere

Don’t even know what to do about him

Best LB in football and outstanding at all assignments, run and pass. He could impact the RPO in a way the Eagles have not seen. I just hope he has an off game…..maybe catches a bad cold.

If coming in to be the blocking back you consider being part of RBBC I can see your point. I consider it more about touches and yards.

I really liked that Gainwell asserted himself. I’ve been clearly voicing I’ve been unimpressed my him. But really thought he mopped up nicely on the giants that had been completely beaten down. Earned a roster spot.

Yeah..  really would be nice having 3 of him next year splitting up the roles for cheap.

So all those studs back in the day that ran behind FBs were part of a committee then?

We’ve been pretty good against TE this season

Kittle is a different beast however

Not sure how we play that

Purdy likes to attack short over the middle. The Eagles D line RARELY bats passes down, but the LBs need to cover this area big time. Stop the run…..even though the Niners run game is extremely good. Find a way gentlemen! Man up Suh and co! This is why you are getting paid. Time to earn it!

His head isn’t on winning and team clearly.

Is it clear?  Nobody else is talking about it other than on here?  Stuff like that makes it in the radio and TV.

22 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said:

It was right on national tv feed. Being talked about plenty. First Siri stated he was dealing with some injury. Then comes back and says also he wanted the ball more.

Who is talking about it?

43 minutes ago, cunninghamtheman said:

I never said anything about his limits or anything. I just said a guy not on any teams roster isn’t a move based on whether we are signing our pending FA starter or not

When did I claim this kid was taking the lead back job? Maybe Sanders gets replaced, maybe he doesn't,still you try to improve the room as a whole. When I said "preparing for life without Sanders" doesn't mean we won't sign another lead RB if he leaves LOL. But it seems apparent Howie is bringing RB's in for some reason,or why do it?(to make the room better?) And noone said we were signing him and noone said these guys aren't cuttable

Our leadership is strong. No idea what your just reaching out to be obnoxious has to do with anything. But whatever.

My post is simply you look to twist any situation into saying something good about Hurts.   It's obvious to the point its comical now.

There is no legit conversations with you anymore. You used to make solid points. Goal was not what FL was saying originally. That was exactly my point. I’m fine with any extremely high goals. Look at my original responses. They weren’t against having a high goal. It was against thinking we suck if we don’t score 32 PPG. Goal was probably his intention. I can believe that. But not what was said. Not what I ever had any problem with. You’re wrong. But yes, you especially get me defending myself. On stupid crap like this. Antagonizing  me. Then I get defending myself and my point. Making it about me. Not what I’ve been doing here at all. You keep trying. Keep trying to create some angle. Again and again. I didn’t make AJ about Hurts. But you put those words in my mouth. Trying to make it all about me. Nope…not falling for that crap again.

Goal is how you’ve now fixed your opinion. Wasn’t ever a point I made any point against. Fact. Maybe was your original intention. But not what you originally phrased it as. Never would have spoken against GOAL…fact.

Call them backups.

SO,I have no idea what Sermon brings in. Maybe he will be good on the RBBC,maybe he won't,but we seemed to jump on him when he hit FA. Maybe he gets cut,who knows. It's not my job to do. It just seems a bit odd Howie is bringing in various RB's. maybe it's a CYA move in case 2 go down this week? I have no idea if we sign this kid or not,but it's Howies job to look. Remember I was one who was ready to give up on Mailata. Blank looks good,he seems like a keeper,so why not at RB?

We saw it last year. Guy was everywhere. Controlled the game.

See....what I saw was like 58% of the snaps.   Idk... I see they take him out because on key downs they don't trust him.

His stats do look nice to get a better comp pick though.   Is it rare to see a team use a RB more on the last year of their deal?   Like squeezing as much out of them as possible.  Demarco Murray comes to mind.

Makes sense doesn't it.  I mean, look at how many games weren't even close this year.   But curious...last year when the other 3 RBs got the ball a little more and scored 15 TDs compared to big fat gooseegg for Sanders....what was our team rushing rank?

The way i see it...Sanders was along for the ride...he wasn't driving the bus.  We can pay another passenger way less money to get the same " team " results without having to get him the stats.

I'm all for "Hands up". Should be a mainstay at LB(even linemen should)

RB by committee...snaps....you have it as rushing by committee.    Two different things.

If that’s your definition…so be it. Not mine. The FB for  Walter Payton I don’t consider Sweetness being a part of RBBC.
