A starter…then backups giving him a breather isn’t a committee to me

Dude needed a breather on 42% of the snaps???  Not in good shape then.

Yeah..  really would be nice having 3 of him next year splitting up the roles for cheap.

Pretty easy to collect three third stringers that are cheap

Stop arguing so much and enjoy the season Cunningham. Let it go. Its ok! We all LOVE the Eagles. Let’s freaking enjoy this together. I am really excited and eating my words and LOVING that I was wrong. I dont even care. Winning is awesome. Eagles in the NFC championship with a real shot to go to another Super Bowl. It is unreal and AWESOME! My brother is a Vikings’ fan with ZERO Super Bowl wins and not even in one for a really long time! He’s 55 and I’m 52. Just tonight he told me how jealous he was that my favorite team is still in it with a chance. This is cool! Let’s go EAGLES! Woohoo!

Purdy likes to attack short over the middle. The Eagles D line RARELY bats passes down, but the LBs need to cover this area big time. Stop the run…..even though the Niners run game is extremely good. Find a way gentlemen! Man up Suh and co! This is why you are getting paid. Time to earn it!

The main issue to me is Shannahan. Seems like he practically is universally considered an offensive genius.

So I expect Shannahan attacks us based on personnel we roll out. Pretty obvious that’s how we are successful.

Fact

So when I said we got 25.6 PPG last year and I saw no reason with this offense, we couldn't get 1 more TD per game and that my goal this year was 32 PPG that was the FACTS. Now tell me thats a lie!!!

If coming in to be the blocking back you consider being part of RBBC I can see your point. I consider it more about touches and yards.

If not even playing slightly over half the snaps is needing a breather....then I see your point.   I consider it where I prefer my best player on the field when it matters most.  We all have our different ways of seeing things.

I can see Sanders coming back here for cheap in 3 or 4 years after his new team cuts him before the big contract is up.

So all those studs back in the day that ran behind FBs were part of a committee then?

They didn't just play slightly over half the snaps.

I'm happy. I remember we were all hoping for a 9-10 win season

There is no legit conversations with you anymore. You used to make solid points. Goal was not what FL was saying originally. That was exactly my point. I’m fine with any extremely high goals. Look at my original responses. They weren’t against having a high goal. It was against thinking we suck if we don’t score 32 PPG. Goal was probably his intention. I can believe that. But not what was said. Not what I ever had any problem with. You’re wrong. But yes, you especially get me defending myself. On stupid crap like this. Antagonizing  me. Then I get defending myself and my point. Making it about me. Not what I’ve been doing here at all. You keep trying. Keep trying to create some angle. Again and again. I didn’t make AJ about Hurts. But you put those words in my mouth. Trying to make it all about me. Nope…not falling for that crap again.

I used to make solid points?  It's the same stuff...you can't handle a different opinion or anyone on here seeing you just the same as everyone else.  You spin things constantly.  Everything GB says I see you spin it.

Look at how condescending you are...." I tried to explain to No Mas... etc"  first of all the name is Joe.   Right off the bat the " No Mas" is ignorant... no class.  Then the way you come off arrogant and talking down to people.

It's  a website for the Eagles.  Is this why you don't play fantasy anymore? No friends to play with?  Were they tired of the constant condescending tone?

If that’s your definition…so be it. Not mine. The FB for  Walter Payton I don’t consider Sweetness being a part of RBBC.

Correct they were out there at the same time...two different positions. But in the modern era... and on our Eagles..the RBs are on the field pretty much one at a time.  If Sanders played like 75% of the snaps...I could see it.  But just over half doesn't make it Sanders and friends to me at the RB position.   The rushing attempts he took on the bulk... but again, when it was split up more last year with Howard in the mix ..they were a top rushing team.  His impact is minimal...they chose to take him off on key plays.

Should be a total classic war. Both teams are good almost everywhere. Siri better at adjusting on the fly now,so hope that continues because they will throw the book at us as we will them. Can't wait!!!

Yeah... let's do it.

I'm sure Ham will go back and find where I may have said we would suck not getting 32 because that meant(for me) the goal, was not reached, but I'm sure he is off right now sorting through the pages to pick out that one line, because rather than take the gist of a post as a whole,he picks every word apart. But when I do that to him he can't stand it. But he is petty enough to go back 8 months to find that one line. So I hope he finds it,because I DON'T CARE. So I am waiting (still) for the answer to the question if he knows Tannehill since he claimed he doesn't have leadership skills

Anyway we are at 28.6 PPG which is 3 better than last year although I was hoping for more. Getting out to big leads and clock killing worked out fine early on

I bought a BIG Eagles flag and post that will be flying outside my house on game day 😁 That is sacrilege in Panther country LOL

See....what I saw was like 58% of the snaps.   Idk... I see they take him out because on key downs they don't trust him.

His stats do look nice to get a better comp pick though.   Is it rare to see a team use a RB more on the last year of their deal?   Like squeezing as much out of them as possible.  Demarco Murray comes to mind.

Makes sense doesn't it.  I mean, look at how many games weren't even close this year.   But curious...last year when the other 3 RBs got the ball a little more and scored 15 TDs compared to big fat gooseegg for Sanders....what was our team rushing rank?

The way i see it...Sanders was along for the ride...he wasn't driving the bus.  We can pay another passenger way less money to get the same " team " results without having to get him the stats.

I believe you made the point for me. In blowouts and the last two game Sanders was nursing injury. We went with the backups. Pretty obvious to save the big weapon for important stuff.

We had some easy games and didn’t push Sanders. I see it as Siri wasn’t a fan of Sanders. Or Scott really. Tried to force Gainwell early. His guy. But Gainwell kept slipping back. Sanders became bulkier like Siri preferrs. Now this is all just educated guess stuff on my part.

  • Author

But Sanders forced Siri to be convinced. Contract year riding a RB harder. I can totally give you that point. But really didn’t ride Sanders that hard. Actually kept saving him when ever possible. But clearly our usage of him has been in a way thinking to save him for possible resigning to stay.

I don’t know if does or not. But they clearly never overworked him. He was managed like we’d keep him.

Excellent pickup. We haven’t been batting passes at all. Strictly rushing.

Stats don’t create comp picks No Mas. The new contract does

Is it clear?  Nobody else is talking about it other than on here?  Stuff like that makes it in the radio and TV.

Who is talking about it?

Every show and website I’ve seen. Siri has been asked it in both pressers so far

SO,I have no idea what Sermon brings in. Maybe he will be good on the RBBC,maybe he won't,but we seemed to jump on him when he hit FA. Maybe he gets cut,who knows. It's not my job to do. It just seems a bit odd Howie is bringing in various RB's. maybe it's a CYA move in case 2 go down this week? I have no idea if we sign this kid or not,but it's Howies job to look. Remember I was one who was ready to give up on Mailata. Blank looks good,he seems like a keeper,so why not at RB?

What I’m taking from him and Gainwell is a type and style. Siri likes more physical type runners. Wasn’t high on sanders initially. Then Sanders bulked and stopped being as finesse and won over coach.

He’s carrying the ball down the field on his snaps. With a purpose.

I thought I came on pointing at news. Talking about the matchups. Then get confronted by those two. So maybe I’m not seeing things like you are. I’d think you’d come on and defend me. All the comments strictly coming at me unneeded.

I don’t desire arguing. But debating points I’m fine with
