Think those two will be forgotten members ever of this club. Glad they are here. Guess I’m just nitpicking. But if I’m listing off DT….feel all time Eagles get listed. If you left off the two old guys just added…I wouldn’t have said a word.

Why not? Davis was still hurting, they were nice fills ins and they have done the job. They did what we hired them to do,so why are they any less a part of getting us here?

I just can’t understand how you pass up a very top QB on a what you’ve called a strong class?

It's not a strong class,I said alot of QB's will go top 10,there are only 2 strong QB's. 2 more can be starters. My boy Hooker would have have been a top one,but his injury will drop him down. For a team that misses out on one of the top 4, he would be a nice pick if they had time to wait a year. I suspect he goes mid 2. I'd like to have Hooker with our 2 pick. he plays like Hurts. let him heal up sit behind Hurts. See if he blossoms out. If so we have trade bait, until then we have a very good #2 with upside. I don't think we do this, but Howie shocked us with taking Hurts in round 2 also. I wouldn't be terribly upset if we did this. I would do something else, but I would understand the logic behind it

I suspect to see Carolina try to move up to the 1 or 2 spot.

Chicago holds the cards. They are in great position to keep an open mind and see all the options.

It's a nice discussion for next week

https://www.nfldraftbuzz.com/Player/Roschon-Johnson-RB-Texas   Bijan will be the #1 RB taken. This kid plays with him. His stats are really nice considering he plays 2nd fiddle to the #1 RB. I like these kind of guys, the ones that are hampered by people in front of them. Bijan is a class act,But this kid would be fine in our RBBC. IDK though I have him around late 5 early 6 and we only have 2 7's. However RB's will fall all through the draft,if he gets into late 6,I would make a move for him. I;m going to go watch some vids on him

Oh yeah Keep Fields and rape someone else wanting that 1 pick LOL. That's what I would do if I were them. They need help everywhere and sitting at 1 thats a mega load of picks trading back

BTW Johnson transitioned from QB to RB,so there are alot of gimmick plays there

Man I can't wait for this game!

Why I didn’t want to get burned out too early

Lol with Sipposs.. I tried to tell you guys... another 5 feet on the average puts him toward the top.   It's irrelevant.   He just needs to avoid the disaster plays...or hit wires.

It's not like he punts 5 times per game.   Also need to look at how often those #s get short changed because we are at midfield and he is trying to land inside the 20.

I’ve been focused on the just couple games that matter. San Fran went sone hard. So really it’s all about this SB.

18 drop backs

13 pressures

7 QB hits

That was Shannahan's plan?    Call 18 passes and have 5 chances out of 18 to make a play?

I'm curious to know what you think is the weakness that is going to get exposed...specifically in the pass game.  Obviously it's not any " dime package" because you don't bring in a 2nd TE for that.

What are you really serious here? You saw what happened in the game. Game plan went out the window the moment Reddick ended Purdy. This is a kind of dumb stat bs argue a point. They couldn’t throw once the third string QB went down.

Idk...do you run the ball with your QB if he is injures.  You would think they would look to avoid hits?

Decision making on the RPO was affected by injury?

I can’t say everything. But clearly he has some hesitancy. Told you that my concern….was recovery.

Hurts got injured. Then played in the cold while it was freshly numb. Then started feeling it I’m sure after the Bears game.

Start at the 7 min mark. While you watch see how he improved every year. I believe a good combine will shoot him higher. 1 fumble in 450 touches. He has things to learn(not alot mostly refining) but if I'm taking a RB later in the draft, this kid has my attention. If we end up with a 5 pick,I would defintily snag him there. While you watch remember this is ALL in relief of Robinson

Then got two weeks of rest. So he had sone juice. But took it easy still. Won top seed for us.

Then had the bye.

So two more weeks. Rest. Remember it’s recovery. After taking plenty of time off he could throw when fresh.

But it didn’t get but the one week before the NFC Championship game.

So like I was saying he didn’t get that recovery.

So I think it showed some.

You guys gotta realize how much Rosie downplays big injuries.

We don’t really know Hurts real situation.

But just watch

He tells the reporter right before game time…he’s no where near 100 percent

FL and whoever can believe it’s a flu or whatever

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/02/02/jalen-hurts-shoulder-getting-there-its-something-im-dealing-with/  See where it says "past the point of significance??" That means it's insignificant, which means it was a minor injury that hurts less every game. Now he(and you) can whine all you want, but the fact is he is ready to go and who knows What "I'm dealing with it" means? Maybe he takes 4 aspirins now. At any rate they will shoot whatever he needs into it and he will be ready. It's significantly LESS than what Mahomes has. So let the 2 gimps square it off
