We fired the S&C Coaches last season. Clearly they have not had the time to work with this year's roster, so really cannot hold them responsible. I do hold players responsible though. You learn from a 8 year old how to stretch before a work out. Not rocket science. Yet do we ever see anyone stretching before a game?

Nope, lots of dancing and prancing on their way to only playing 30 minutes a game.IDK,it's stupid crap I think about.if we would have had ONE,ONE!!!! Drive vs the Ravens in the first 1/2 we would have won that game.team has no spark, they dance, then come out flatter than smashed pancakes.I don't get it

I just watched the all 22 and here are some thoughts.

On defense, I focused on the linebackers. Singleton is our best guy out there. He may make some mistakes, but he is our best tackler, sheds blocks and reads plays. No need to highlight Gerry's awfulness. Bradley is a nice player, but he has trouble shedding blocks. I think once he gets stronger, he will be a nice player. Taylor I didn't really notice much. He didn't play many snaps, but he didn't do much either. How we handle the LBs going forward will be interesting. The argument that "Gerry is out there because the other guys are worse" is complete BS.

Will Parks looked pretty good, especially in coverage. He was on Andrews a few times that I saw, and shut him down. I would have him at SS and Mills at corner if I were running things, with Maddox in the slot (when he comes back.) LeBlanc made some tackles, but he and Robey-Coleman haven't done anything that makes the case for them to be starting.

On offense, i focused on RT. Driscoll was really good. He doesn't add much in the run game but he is a solid pass blocker. Toth was a mess. I don't see how Tega isn't a better option at LT and Mailata at RT. Maybe Pryor will be better?

Some general notes. By the end of the game, the Ravens defense was done. We just beat them up. You could tell they were sick of tackling and sick of being blocked. Mailata is relentless, and he loves landing on people. I have a feeling he gets relentlessly trashed talked, which isn't a thing in other countries, and he takes it personally. So when he has a chance to shut someone up, he does it. JJAW should be in everyone's favorite player. On the long Sanders run, he was the only guy on offense running at full speed, and he got rewarded for it. Hightower was walking down the field at the same time JJAW was sprinting. He could have packed it in long ago due to a lack of playing time/targets, but he is all effort.

The long PI on Fulgham was BS, and Toth also got away with a hold on the play, but they also let the Ravens get away with a ton of penalties as well. So I think that evened out.

On the final 2 point conversion, I am convinced Richard Rodgers had the wrong play call. He ran right by Fort, when if he gets in his way even a little bit, Wentz walks in. I think Wentz saw him miss the block, and it's what caused the play to fall apart.

Overall, I really liked what I saw from Driscoll, Bradley and Singleton. Fulgham continues to be a matchup nightmare.

excellent point about Mailata!  I think you are on to something there my friend. He is an animal and will continue to grow. May turn into a powerhouse at LT!

I am willing to bet that Mailata takes care of his body and you won't see any soft tissue injuries from him!

I wouldn’t move Mailata I’m just not a fan of moving guys when they are playing well I’d give Tega a look at RT though then maybe look at a switch but would be my last resort.

When I know how beat up we are and how badly we will probably look in round 1 of the play-offs is a reason not to want to see it happen

I mean to be fair we did just compete with two legit contenders and dropped 28 and 29 respectively on two top 10 Ds....IF(and its a massive IF) this team got healthy and some guys developed along the way Philly could be a team nobody wants to see in the playoffs.

I wouldn't move Mailata.I have stated I would be for moving Dillard(when he comes back).I think a Mailata LOT and a Dillard LOG(once again when he returns) would be a nice pairing. We know Dillard either can't play,or doesn't want to play on the right side.If that happens, then I would only move Dillard to LOT if Mailata goes down

Like to see this play just for fun. Mailata as a tackle eligble. Hand him the ball at the 1 and let him truck some people HAHAHA

I wouldn't move Mailata permanently, just for one game. I don't know how good or bad Tega is, but he can't be worse than Toth.

Once we get Lane and Peters back, they can be the right side of the line, and Herbig and Mailata can be on the left side. But Brown and Toth literally can't be out there anymore. They were so bad it is hard to put into words. Maybe they will be better against worse competition, as the Giants pass rush isn't as good, but playing them should be a last resort.

yeah IDK,at some point we need to freeze players where they belong and not plan for ONE gamers. While I like a few swiss army knife types,I don't want a team of them.I recall the adage " Jack of all trades, master of none"

IDK JP whined and cried until we gave him LT money,so I don't think he really wants to play RG. He had us by the short hairs,we caved.I don't want him here next year or if there is a better ROG I play them now,or the future OG or even BU.The money is already spent(wasted)

They protected Tega, and I think he may get promoted this week. McGill may get called up since Jackson is not practicing. I think he has one call up left, but I am not sure.

The injury report is pretty ugly. I would expect that a few guys will go on IR since they need space on the roster.

We should get a good handle on where we are tomorrow. Hopefully Pryor will be active. I am holding out hope that Lane can go. If he can struggle through this game, he gets extra rest before the Cowboys and then a bye.

Seen John Ross asked for a trade not sure there is a way to pull off a trade for him but I’d look into it.... Has been a good role player young guy think 25 maybe blazing fast.

If we could do a Djax and like 6th or 7th rounder for him I’d consider it

I wouldn't move Mailata at all. He's playing well and getting more comfortable at LT every game. Don't screw up a good thing.

Now, there is some good news to come out of this survey. Even though it's for a not-so good reason, we are still ranked higher than the Eagles.

Funny they're happy about being whinier than Eagles fans.

I guess they have to grasp onto something.

He's got all the tools. We just have to hope he keeps his head screwed on straight.

F ing BEAST!!!! Love it.This is the "intimidation" we have been lacking for so long.Aussies are great people, they don't F around like they do here

Restructure Cox deal freed up 5.7m

The Eagles recently converted $7.165M of DT Fletcher Cox’s salary into a bonus, creating about $5.732M in 2020 cap space. Extra room for Philly now, but also more money to rollover into 2021 when the league could be in a tighter cap year.

So sounds as though Alshon again will not be playing

Good news is Djax and Lane sound like they will play..... Also heard Reagor is really close to being back probably back for next weeks game for sure

Having Lane back should make whoever plays RG look a ton better regardless. RG should be the only real weak spot on the OL can do thinks to help mask that.

So would expect Wentz to have plenty of time in the pocket. Plus Giants don’t have nearly the pass rush as Ravens/Steelers
