Steve Wilks new 9ers DC - another slot that won't be poached from us

I doubt Gannon would have made a lateral move

I don't think Gannon leaves... the OC has a chance though. My guess is we elevate Stout to OC..maybe bring in a passing game coordinator.   Only thing is then who calls plays...maybe the coach?

RB's I like in the event we find another pick somewhere. Round 4- Tyjae Spears-Tulane, round 5 -Roschon Johnson-Texas

I'm playing now with "what if" we traded back the 10 pick and moved up from the 31 pick. Would love to trade back(a little) to pick up that 4th or 5th and snag one of the 2 RB's I listed if we can't come to terms with Sanders. I still have 4 QB's going in the top 12 which would allow us to move back 1-2 spots if some team wants that 4th QB(assuming I am right on 4/12. A move from 10-12 puts us in the ballpark for a 4th pick

Fields was drafted high also? Put any QB behind a crap team and you get crap results. It takes 10 other guys on offense ya know? Drafting another rook QB won't solve the issues, you merely have a new face with a crap team. Why not trade that pick, grab extra high picks, and give the QB some weapons to work with? Or beef up the O line. How did the Jags do this year? They have a better team than Chicago,so he did ok there at the end. They need more for him also. a QB is not your teams savior, you need quality people around him. IDK why this is hard to understand nor why you argue about it. Any normal person would know you can't judge a QB's value if you never give him any tools. Put Fields with this team WE have for 2 years, and I would bet he has a better record than he did with the Bears. Not real hard to grasp here

I never said he had a great team. Worst team in the league gets you the top pick in fact. You don’t get a shot at the number one pick often. I never said drafting the elite number one pick elite franchise QB fixed everything. They have tons to fix. Can’t just pass up the top QB because you think you might have a starter quality one though. You don’t pass up drafting Burrow because you have Dalton. Bears are at rock bottom. Whole team needs to be built up. I’d build it around Young, Levi’s or Stroud. Just dig deep into those three. Make sure you get the best one.

Some believe he has more than usual development to make up, and that trading him to have the opportunity to take a quarterback with the No. 1 pick in the upcoming NFL draft would suit the Bears better than Fields.

That’s a quote right in the beginning of what you sent a link from. He acknowledges that popular opinion seems to be my take on the situation. But you worry about me.

If you know the guys name that stole it please tell us so he can lash out at HIM.

He did lash out at him. Then took a jab at the whole city.

One of the better SB commercials IMO. Such a classy lady

Fields drafted 11th levis would be around there,so you're going to totally start over for the difference between a 1/2 pick and an 11 pick? All while understanding Hurts was a round 2 pick? And this make sense to you? Yeah lets start over every other year LOL. I will hand it to you though, doing things you want will give you the annual 1 pick

LOL WRONG. He never played with the Colts? last year he was with the wuss? If I am not mistaken that is 2 years?

If you look at Fields this year you can almost see Hurts last year. Hurts was terrible as a passer at times and he used the off season to improve himself dramatically.

The major difference is the Eagles had a good core of players. The Bears don't

Fields completion rate 2022 60.4%

Hurts 2021 61.3%

You are mistaken. This year he is a Commander. Last year he was a Colt.
