Having Lane back should make whoever plays RG look a ton better regardless. RG should be the only real weak spot on the OL can do thinks to help mask that.

So would expect Wentz to have plenty of time in the pocket. Plus Giants don’t have nearly the pass rush as Ravens/Steelers

Just hope Lane is not rushing it back.....

Lane ankle seems like something he will deal with for the remainder of the season from things I have read.... My guess the key to managing him will be allowing him to rest during the weeks so the ankle is good for game days.

Lanes a vet image he should not need many reps to play at a high level

I’d like to see Hightower get some looks in the slot think he should be our #4 WR for sure though get some slot reps and split with Djax some.

Top 3 being Fulgham/Djax/ Ward.

JJaw likely spells Fulgham He has had some decent plays though in recent weeks... Some decent catches some great blocks 100% effort it seems. Hopefully things turn around for him and it starts to click

Listening to the Inside the Birds podcast, they said some interesting things.

On Herbig, they said he is a big surprise since a lot of teams thought he wouldn't be any good because he was too fat, but he has shown to be really athletic and able to handle guys one on one, and also done well getting to the second level.

They said the line played well as a whole against the Ravens, but Brown was just getting destroyed by Calais Campbell over and over again, and he couldn't handle the games they were running inside.

Caplan said "they may have something" in Singleton, which is something I agree with. He was their best linebacker, and it wasn't close. With Riley back, it will be interesting to see what Schwartz does. My preference would be Singleton and Riley, with Bradley as the third linebacker. Will he bench Gerry? We will see.

It's great that Lane is playing. Hopefully he can make it through the game. Getting Djax back is huge as well.

With Maddox back, it will be interesting to see how they use him. I would put him in the slot with Mills at CB2 and Parks at SS. But most likely Maddox will go to CB2 and Mills will be the SS.

The WR position is going to be one to watch in the coming weeks. 7 on active roster. When Reagor returns will have 8.

Who stays who goes??? Easily to say Alshon in a trade but have to get a trade partner for that to happen.
Would we waive Watkins try to pass him through waivers???? moving on from Djax is something I think we should do but not sure we would flat out release him and not sure he would generate interest on the trade block.

JJAW deserves a shot for his effort alone.....

My guess is they keep 8 and go light at TE and RB. No one is claiming Clement or Richard Rodgers.

I’d give him a look in the slot as well. I like Ward don’t get me wrong just not sure what more he brings for us then what he is right now. Would like to get a guy in there that brings but more of a spark and threat on the O end.

I’d be extremely shocked if we kept 8 WRs... 7 sure until the deadline I can see. But don’t think we go 8.

TE we don’t have anyone at Ertz is gone likely a month could IR him to free up a space but wouldn’t be able to trade then if that something we are considering. Geodart maybe back next week maybe not.

Croom hasn’t shown much Butler clearly isn’t ready Rodgers though not anything special is decent. Hard to go light at TE when we don’t have any.

RB- I’m fine with moving on from Clement just not sure the team will I want to see Holyfield called up. Now with Sanders likely out 2 weeks at least not sure it’s something we can afford.

Not too much different than what Doug said. The biggest decision now seems to be whether or not Pryor gets activated. If he doesn't, who knows what they do at RG. I can't see Brown playing again, and I expect he will be dropped for Peters before the Cowboys game.

And Brown is gone.

I’ve never thought Brown a better option than Opeta.

Croom- 1 play 1 TD.That's batting .1000.He has potential and we need to involve him a BIT more.Once he learns the playbook and how others around him play,he could be useful.I think we need to push this a bit with the Ertz "thing".I would love to see Mailata as a tackle eligible.Let him flatten a few.Rugby guys love to hit.I'd like to put that smile on his face lol

I thought Opeta had potential. They would know better than I,but I think we keep working with him

Time for the Boston Scott show tomorrow.Great opportunity for him.Hope he takes advantage of it.We need another RB in here

The Eagles are expected to officially take Matt Pryor off the Reserve/COVID-19 list tomorrow, at which time they’ll need to make a corresponding roster move. He is still roster exempt right now.

So Pryor should be the starting RG is my guess... Lane will be at RT.... rest will be the same as last week

Just my two cent on Ertz if we don’t place him on IR my guess is we are trying to trade him before the deadline...Other wise it would make more sense to place him on IR going to be out at least 3 weeks anyway

Pryor should give us 8 OL right??? Wouldn’t shock me if we don’t place Ertz on IR if we cut a RB would think Clement and just promote Holyfield for Thursday’s game.

Brings similar style but bigger and likely better pass protector

I would have thought the same with Alshon going on PUP to start the season....but they don’t Always make the best roster decisions...especially concerning the bigger name players.

Gotta be considering trading for a RB. Not sure who are the possibilities out there. A short term option could be Frank Gore. No future with him. But he’d be a nice compliment potentially even when Sanders comes back. I’d like a better option than Gore but don’t want to pay a fortune. Trying to think of options from crappy teams that might sell.

A guard is a possibility. I just don’t see Peters being able to contribute but for a few more games.

LB has been the obvious position of need. But they seemingly never really care. I just remember what a jolt it gave this defense when we had Hicks in or even when we brought in Bradham. Having that larger playmaker holding it down on the second level really brought this defense up.

One option is Jordan Howard, who has been benched in Miami. I would like to see him back here. He's somewhat pricey, but would be my first option. Miami would probably give him away to save his salary.

I'd put him in for Ertz spot.  He blocks better and if they cover him with a LB that should be an advantage.  If they use a DB, even better in the run game.

We signed Brown back to the PS. Disappointing but...whatever

Kaye suggests we trade for Hewitt or Williamson from the Jets or the Colts Walker. The cheap LB options as he sees it.
