Goodell said "these are the best refs I have seen" The field was trash also. Commericials were garbage promos' for woke BS(EV's crap vehicles) ,or movies. Gooddell should have been fired long ago as I have said time and again. The "NY crew" also needs to hit the bricks. They couldn't make a, correct call if their life depended on it. it did however "follow the script" so your WWE reference is spot on. it's turning into that rapidly

Very disappointed with at least 95% of the commercials. Nuttin but a load of 💩

Just pissed.  It was a great game but I just can't stand the terrible and inconsistent refereeing going on in the NFL.....I've HATED the defensive back penalties that went into effect 20 years ago......the illegal contact is just a bullsh-- call that has caused so much frustration in the league and with fans.  These are football players, everybody on the filed is having contact,  the linemen, the RBs, the LBs.......a defensive backs SHOULD  be able to try to knock a receiver off his route.....these simple bumps and pushes are ridiculous to call penalties on DBs.  A holding call on a DB should absolutely be reviewable.....If the ball is in the air is something different.......

It alters games, gives huge benefits to offensive players for nothing.......

This was all to make it a huge show that builds up to a Wrestle Mania-like show just like your previous post said. Mark my words (if we're alive to se it) one day the Super Bowl will be pay-per-view!

No (real) sacks by either team. With the field in such bad shape i'll bet the D linemen just couldn't get a push

I was thinking the exact same after seeing the skill players slip on their cut or push while going for YAC.

I’m REALLY bummed as It could be a LONG time to ever even get back to the Super Bowl. I am SOOOOOO glad they won it 5 years ago, or I think I would be devastated right now. Happy it was Andy Reid and the Chiefs and not a team I can’t stand. Mahomes is an absolute stud. MVP and will own every QB record there is if he plays long enough. Sure wish the Eagles could have beaten him. It is what it is. Back to work tomorrow.

Given the fact the refs allow holding in the playoffs, I didn’t think the pass rush would be a huge factor. That and AR was no way going to put Mahomes in deep drops much, if at all. But hardly even any pressures….that sucked!

Oh wait, the refs DIDN’T allow ONE "weak” holding, did they?

Right...that's why I made the comment about the Cards job

I thought the defender made just enough of a late play in the Smith catch. Thought it would overturn. Goedert was a clean good catch.

Agreed... Goedert was a catch,  Smith wasn't you could see the ball hit the ground and move.

Goodell has changed the game hiding behind the "player safety" comments......the kickoff, one of the most exciting facets of the game is now a useless play most of the time.  The defensive backfield calls are terrible, the defenseless player calls are inconsistent and ridiculous.  The QB "protection" rules are unfair and terribly inconsistent.  A QB can run 30 yards but you can't hit him if he "gives himself up"??  The refs are supposed to use an abundance of caution with the QB in the backfield while every other player is constantly getting hit??

They've changed the game in lousy ways.

Yes... " they"   to think it's one guy is silly.

They don't practice on the field.  Idk if it was the paint, I think they must have added something to the original grass, they were slipping all over.

Most impressive play was Elliot slipping and still kicking off into the endzone.

Lol... jersey wasn't pulled,  no law against putting your arm on the guys back as you turn to run ... I agree that the ref " thought" there might be holding.... I also don't think it would have been a catch if it was holding.

I just want the kid to have his chance to tie or win at the end.  We haven't really had that in thst extreme late game situation.  Indy was different.  I wanted to see it.   2 minute drill to me is a favorite part of the game.

Given he gave away 7 points on that fumble,  I wanted him to get the chance at the end to make up for it.

I will give 2 calls on offense I didn't like.

1. Was when we didn't call timeout and got a delay before the Goedert catch...I liked that,  but I didn't understand why we then wasted a timeout instead of taking the 5 yard penalty again in the same situation a few plays later?   That extra timeout at the end would have changed things.

2.  3rd and 2 before the punt,  gotta run there.  2 sneaks even if you have too.

Man... with those 2 calls, it feels like 20 years ago.  Wasted timeout and not running.   I've lived through enough of that...lol.

The holding call sucked, but I saw pics posted that made it seem like it was and Bradberry admitted he was holding.  That's not why they lost though.  Nor was the fumble.  I am positive even if they didn't have that fumble the Chiefs just score on their next possession anyway, but chew up some of the clock while doing it.  So you're probably looking at the same score at halftime. Possibly even 3 points less for the Eagles depending on how long the extra drive by the Chiefs offense would've taken.

No, what lost the game is the defense only forcing 2 punts in the entire game while getting 0 sacks and 0 turnovers. They did absolutely NOTHING on defense the entire game.  You might as well have not even had the defense on the field at all.

Bradberry admitted it was holding but it seemed pretty ticky tacky. A handful of plays led to the loss, mostly on D as we left guys wide open. Hurts' fumble didn't help or we could have seen OT. The field was atrocious, both sides had to play  on it. Hoped like crazy their P would slip on that paint! Quez should have caught that long pass and we should have gone for more of them.

They exploited the fact we could not cover Scantling nor JuJu,I kept yelling at the TV "anyone want to cover these guys?" Our D was NOT better than theirs, and the missing pass rush and that was one of the big things we(supposedly) had going in. We were supposed to be able to run on them(nope),we were supposed to be able to beat 2 rookie CB's(nope). Kudos to the KC O line, they outplayed our D line. KC coaches won the 1/2 time adjustment battle. Oh well,we had our shot and came up short. I won a Bud light SB XVII T. I never win anything LOL

It was the same for both teams. I saw pictures of the grounds crew cutting the field. Those SB logos didn’t look nearly the same though. Got ‘fixed up’ right before game time.

Seriously, if that was holding the Refs could call holding on every passing play.

We were the better team(on paper) in every facet. Sorry, but you can't let Schuster run amok for 5-6 plays in a row. Gannon got schooled.Pass rush never got home, running game ineffective, and they had 2 rookie CB's and although we threw(because we had to) the play calls were vanilla. I knew Kelce would be a problem. I never suspected JuJu would run rampant. AR out coached Siri in the 2nd 1/2. Oh well on to next year.........

Yes, they had the rookies at corner. But we weren’t getting them confused. AR got our very experienced corners confused.

Just pointed out that Bradbury had white sleeves on. KC had white jerseys on. But Bradbury had black gloves on. Gotta wear white gloves. His black gloves in that scenario  stood out.

The WR got separation on Bradbury. His poorly chosen black glove stood out grabbing his jersey. Those two factors made it look worse.

It was the Punt that did us in.

Hurts just kept shoving those short yardage plays right up their gut. Can’t remember if it was Clark or Jones(one of their huge Dline)? But he jumped over the line onto Hurts shoulders. Still didn’t stop him.

Second largest Time of possession in a losing effort.

Lost the turnover battle...and they got 7 free points without possessing the ball.

It seemed really that were taking forever to run plays.  This was the first game we could say the game management was bad.
