I think Peters does that starting next week and, if he gets hurt after a few games, Seumalo will be back. Herbig has played really well, so it's really only one spot that has hurt us. What will be interesting is who starts tonight - Pryor, Opeta or Brown. I think Opeta is exclusively a LG, so I doubt he gets the nod. But they may be desperate enough to try it.

Hopefully we can get our line healthy by the Cowboys game, and then add in Miles, Reagor and Goedert after the bye. That offense would be scary good, especially considering how well that Mailata, Fulgham and Herbig have been playing.

yeah but JP gone next year, why not look at Spain as a "longer than 8 games" prospect?.If you can sign him to a 2 year(or more),then we can let OG go for the draft.I'm trying to think past next week lol

Semaulo and Herbig should be the guys we want starting good chance they are key guys for this line moving forward.

Brooks returns next year the other would be the starting LG. Semaulo/Jurgia could be battling it out for starting C also depending what Kelce does

realistically could see Mailata(Dillard)/Herbig/Semaulo/Brooks/Lane as our starting OL next season

My guess is the surprise is a change at LB. They are pretty plugged in on the team, and I just can't see them keeping Gerry as the LB1 based on the fact that everyone has seen Bradley and Singleton play better.

Wow Wentz needs 81 yards to be 4th all time in Eagles history in passing yards

Looks like Nate Herbig is moving to RG to play next to Lane Johnson and Sua Opeta will make his first NFL start at LG Sua will be 6th lineman to make first NFL regular season Eagles start this year Eagles 6th different OLine in 7 games this year

Makes sense. They know that Brown is useless so why not at least see what Opeta has.

I figured we go with Pryor but at least get to see Opeta

Pryor has been pretty useless this year too though and seems like he's out of favour.

He has been solid not special but figured Pryor just so we wouldn’t have to keep moving guys around like Herbig.

Also was thinking about the chemistry on the left side and how it could effect it... I mean Mailata has 3 starts under his belt Opeta none might see some miscues between them

There’s been a reason for Opeta to stick around. Never thought Brown should have jumped him on the depth chart. Opeta works on the left. Pryor works on the right(probably at both G and T). But maybe the key is let’s put Herbig in his best spot. Let him excel. So maybe Opeta isn’t great...but he’s about the same or better than Pryor or Brown. Making the Oline as a whole better.

I think he got moved around too much. Seemed like confidence was high and he was taking over the starting job when Brooks went down. Then they signed Peters and shipped Pryor over time LT. Probably not a great spot for him.

Possibly long term yes but considering I think Semaulo/JP will jump them regardless when healthy not sure.... And biggest thing is chemistry now so even if talent why he is better if him and Mailata have issues gelling the left side will struggle to start out.

Wouldn’t shock me if the left side of our OL has some issues in the first half is all I’m getting at

Maybe not, if someone else wants to pick him up.. He goes get paid, or stays as a Coach/Consultant.

I get the Chemistry thing with Lane and Herbig . I like Opeta he won the Bench Press at the Combine think he did 33

reps, not sure somebody correct me.. It could be the power side Opeta and Mialata for our Birds. I hope Killins get in the game any word on Quez or Reagor tonight?

Casserly suggests we give a sixth round pick for TE Njoku from Cleveland

Let's goooooooooooooo. EAGLES. LETS Goooooooooo

Still a few days before the trade deadline. Haven't been on much, been looking a little. Still don't think we're a SB team, still firmly believe we need a partial rebuild - but isn;t it already coming? We have contracts coming due, older guys retiring or gone and new guys coming up. We also have guys coming back, off IR who were supposed to be part of a team that looked pretty promising. Now I'm thinking what the hell - go for it!

We kick some gnat butt tonight, at least before the 9pm debate, just wanted to see some of the debate w/o the blowhard ability - mic's are muted finally!

RB's will be interesting tonight

Having his main weapons out last yr forced Wentz into looking at the D harder and hitting the open man. Where's that go?

Now Johnson's back out, better hurry

Scott running on the left side... Nice Carson first down.

Good first drive and Giants might be a bad team but have a good D ranked 12th

Yeeesssss.....Nice drive. Good having a receiving threat on the field. Already feeling DJax presence.
