Philadelphia Eagles trade the 10th overall pick to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for the 19th and 154th overall picks in 2023 and first and fourth-round picks in 2024.

Leave the woke argument out of sports

So getting a comp pick because you hired a coach of color is not woke in sports????

Right into their playbook. Must be right if everyone is doing it

Arguing it is the point.  It takes 2 sides to argue.  If the rules state I get a comp pick...I'm taking the comp pick.   I'm not arguing the reason.

I'm getting the comp pick.. let Jerry Jones take a stand against it.

I hate the bubble screen.  It's a pick play to me, I don't care if it's a yard behind the line, 3 yards in front ... it's BS to me.  But I don't mind if the Eagles take advantage as long as it's the rule.

I don't like the " tush push" QB sneak.  I am all for the rule change....but as long as it was the rule, I'm ok with my Eagles taking advantage.

Changing the rules or me not liking a rule.. that's a different.

As long as any rule is in place. I am entitled to the benefits.  Certainly after another team benefits from a rule, I will make sure I do as well before anything gets changed.  In this case... they give out a comp pick to another team.  And the Eagles are in position to get one or more too....  a big F@$ YEAH I WANT MY COMP PICK before anything changes back.

The chump gets taken advantage of, feel free to change any rule, AFTER I get what's coming to me, but not until then.

As for the former SF QB who got beat out by Blaine Gabbert twice...he didn't do crap.  If everyone ignored him there would be no issue.   The fact it got so much attention and opposition is what blew it up and had it continue.

One site suggested this trade happening

GB... I saw this post immediately after the one with the trade proposal.

But to be honest... anything posted on here with trades or hires etc... I always double check for myself.  This one would be great, but also would be all over the news.

Have you heard about these Thermobaric weapons? Russia is using these….when they exploded they rip all the oxygen out of the area. Right out of peoples lungs even.

Yes. Modern warfare is terrifying. Talk to GB. He's very fluent on modern weaponry.

It's my opinion, you can agree or not. Obviosly you don't. Solving racism by being racist is stupid....moving on......

Again.. I'm not disagreeing...  I'm saying a chump wouldn't take the comp pick.

If they gave out comp picks for having the most read heads as cheerleaders ... and if we had the most..  I'm taking the comp pick.   Absolutely would hate the reason...but I'm taking the comp pick.

I'm not trying to solve racism...I'm trying to build my roster.

If they gave out a comp pick to the best Cross- dressed GM... I'm looking for Howie to go full Bosum Buddies" and get that pick.

I have to be honest... I think giving a comp pick to a team who loses a coordinator should be a rule...regardless of race.   The team gave a job to someone that developed into a someone another team took away... it makes sense to get something, especially since it probably means that coach is going to take some other of your staff with him.  That inconvenience simply because you were successful should be rewarded somewhat.

So just read up about the Reagor trade.

We get a 7th rounder this year... along with a 5th rounder in 2024...that could become a 4th rounder if Reagor achieves one of these goals

40 catches

500 yards

5 TDs

2024 picks...

1st

Two 2nds

3rd

4th.  ....( could be two)

Two 5ths .... ( hopefully just one)

6th ( best pick out of us or Tenn, the Saints get the worst of the 2 as result of CGJ trade)

Adding 4 comp picks to this would be 12 picks.

We have 10 free agents I think should get comp pick values of round 5... or better.

Cox, Hargrave,  Bradberry, CGJ, Epps, Edwards, White, Dillard, Seamulo and Sanders.

The max amount of comp picks = 4.  So we can have 6 offsets.    Offsets would be if we kept any of these guys or signed outside free agents in comparable slots prior to the post draft deadline.

If we sign an outside free agent, they would cancel out the free agent we lose right above them in the pecking order of the comp pick.

Bottom line... we should get 11 picks before the 6th round along with the better pick from us or Tennessee... who probably won't make the playoffs if Jax can win the division.

Only need one of them.

Eagles offered Gannon more money than the HC job to stay

Ham,since I am not good at them,any LB's worth a round 2/3 pick? Seems it's a weak class???

Fairly successful with non "star" defenses(which is Howies speed in not drafting top DB's or LB's).Since that is the case it's a great fit IMO. If you're not(for whatever reason) going to tap the top draftees, get the guy that gets the most out of the tier 2/3 draft picks. Makes sense to me. Can't hurt to look

Thanks guys. Had to take some oxy today and didn't feel like researching. With the new NFL guesss I have to get rid of my old way of thinking that we need to hire people with proven NFL experience, esp while this window is open.
