No....it's a water is wet thing that's obvious.    We went over this a while back... if we agree we don't feel the need to chime in.  You've  been pretty on the money with these last 109 posts in a row.   I just chimed I'm that i believe the control guy with hires is Lurie, not Howie.   Lurie will have to be sold on the OC and DC.

I think Rosie dominated control now

Lurie gets to be in the room for interviews. Enjoy all the top notch level NFL business stuff.

But I believe Rosie has pretty much taken most all control now.

Think Rosie really made a huge analytics department. Takes that and uses it against the actual football guys.

That’s his baby. Money and stats.

Lurie clearly sees himself doing everything a top levels. He’s a winner! Top Dog!

But Rosie got shoved in the doghouse with Chipper. I think when he was given his job back after Chip….I think Lurie pretty much put Rosie head on the chopping block. Sink or swim

Then Rosie created such a cap and money clusterF!

He practically couldn’t even be questioned. He was the only one that knew and studied enough to know how to climb out.

So he got control. Was GM of the year two years later. Brought us that first SB trophy.

Then got things so screwy he couldn’t be fired because it was such a mess.

Lurie can’t stand losing. Wants to be the best. But Rosie ego been all over this team since Chipper.
