Of course we are changing it. Fangio went to Miami. Lost our Dc. LB coach gone. Half our D is pending FA.

You need talent…but not always the same type of talent does every coach desire.

So with 4 picks,this is a terrific time to scrap other picks Howie made,let them all go because they are no longer fits for whatever new defensive plan there is? We went 13-3 in regular season,we should give up that defensive plan??? makes zero sense to me. If we were 3-13,then by all means make changes because what you have ain't working,but why fix what ain't broke when you can compete again??? There could be tweaks,or other new ideas coming in,but there is certainly no reason to scrap what works. Why not hire a new coach who understands the goals we achieved and wants to build off that? Seems much more cost effective?? So we should go back to the 34 because we barely ever draft LB's? This makes sense to you? you think Howie and Lurie would hire a coach that wants to rip up the entire defense plan?

    At the time I posted, thought we were getting Leonard, actually uses LB's and I like his philosophy, posted it the other day. Kinda reminded me a little of JJohnson, never knew whether he was coming or not as a lot of what Leonard does comes right at the snap.

    Washington losses nothing by letting Wentz walk. Does anyone have thoughts about any team that would desire his services? 

    I don't think you can rule the Raiders out.

    Wouldn't it be something if he ended up with the Jags as QB2.

    True,but we know Howie doesn't draft LB's much

    Looks like it’s being rebuilt whether you like it or not. A bunch of pending D FA. Lost two big D coaches. Gotta choose what D guys to sign/tag. Decide which guys to draft. All those choices…now is clearly a time of change. Desai could run something fairly similar I’d say. Like a 4-3 Under. Wasn’t he all part of that Seattle Legion of Boom?

    "Rebuilt" is much different than changing your whole defense. Nice of you to clarify
