The list of coaches to hire is getting thin

I'll say it again-bubble ball by 2029

The 2023 NFL Scouting Combine kicks off on Sunday, February 26 with early player arrivals from the defensive line and linebacker group. From there, each day adds new player groups and is set to last until Monday, March 6, ending with the bench press drills from the offensive line and running backs.

I believe though they don't start TV until 3/2

Contracts are typically based on past performance, which is, after all, the best data on individual players that we have available. But adding in the filter of possible substitutes in the open market, along with how else the money realistically could be spent in order to earn wins .

How NFL explains it

OK try this one. Making a mock with limited picks is hard.I will assume we keep CJG and Blankenship was a pleasant surprise And of course the combine will move players around the board. So when making my mocks there always seems to be one position missing, due to lack of picks,so some spot will have to go away unless we pick up more picks. Trades could come into play also, but I can only work with what we have. Although i can't plan for it I believe we trade back the 10 to a QB needy team, but I can't do that here. Could see a trade possibly after the combine. Until then............................1-10-Paris Johnson-OT-OSU I like this pick for previously explained reasons. If Lane goes he can start at RT,if Lane stays he would be an immediate upgrade at RG,so it's a twofer and if Lane gets hurt,Paris can move over and we put in another RG    1-30-Siaki Ika-DT- Baylor- Along with Davis this would be a virtual brick wall defeating opponents running game  2-62- Felix Uzomah-edge-Kansas St. Things he can improve on,but nice upside and he can learn from some of the best   3-94- Roschon Johnson-RB-Texas. RB2/BU in Texas who is overshadowed by the #1 RB off the board. Tough kid and who knows what he could have done if he was RB1 there. So I will roll the dice. Excellent for our RBBC approach   7-Jake Haener-QB-Fresno st   7-Tre Tucker-WR-Cincy   This mock has no CB's nor LB's. we would have to fill in with cheap FA's(which we normally do). As I said making mocks requires you to leave out someone you need. One could argue rightfully, that we take a CB at 94 and I would  be ok with that, then finding some FA RB's which would be cheaper for us,but I like all the other picks and where they go. A trade back could supply us with that mid round pick to fill either CB or RB,so the 94 pick is my issue.

Jaylon Jones or Darius Rush would be my pick at 94 if you wanted to forego RB

Saw the grandson yesterday for the first time in 3 or 4 months. Redshirt freshman TE 6'5" 260 squatting 775

He's gotten huge after only 6 months of a college weight program

They've been working with the track sprint coach to work at improving their 40 times.

If I was your nearby friend I would pay him to pick you up and twirl around over his head. Just to watch LOL

I read somewhere that Brandon Brooks counts as dead money. Why would he still be on the books when HE made the choice to retire?
