So the guy that was calling for the trade back to 19 got his act together. Now he thinks we trade back to 19 with TB,then trade back up to 14 with the pats,which would(in theory) net us picks 50 and 114. I had said before I could see trading back to 12-15 so right in the ballpark

We don't get an extra comp pick unless one of our coordinators gets a head coaching job.  Not simply because we hire him.

I know the scouts scout,but it would be nice to have coaches in place before the combine(which technically starts today). Be disadvantageous the longer we dilly dally. because there is no coach to say "look for (whatever quality he would want in a player)" Need to get these coaches in place before 3/2 when the serious part of the combine begins

Right... so when I was saying they can change the rule back AFTER the Eagles get a comp pick..  you understand now it would be because one of our coordinators gets poached.  

We just lost 2 and got nothing.   I feel we are already owed enough of these over the years anyway.   If they want to give us one because we lost a coordinator who happens to be a minority...I'm more than fine with it.

So imagine if they waited until after the Superbowl to " start " interviews?   It's what I was trying to say when everyone was complaining our guys were being interviewed.   Better for us they got hired right away right..  otherwise our search for replacements would have started later.

Still it can be distracting for the 2 teams involved. If they want parity all teams should have the same timeline

So then the contracts are useless basically
