LOL 4 QB's and 2-3 OT's will be popular on draft day, toss in a CB or 2 and the top S and those other guys fall out of the top 10

I’d be shocked to see a S go that high

Be interesting to see what Wentz does. I think his ego holds out until somebody gets desperate for a starter.

I assume Wentz has been fairly smart with his money.

Elliott has been money. Punt team and returns have been bad.

Right, so apparently Elliot doesn't need a coach.

Why? Weren't you the one who was miffed because we didn't take Dax Hill last year???

You don't need to be smart when you make 26 million a  year. 1 year is more than I made my whole life

Showed a mock where they take the #1 RB in round 1. Pay Pollard, let Zeke go. With Pollard and the rook you still have a really nice tandem

So if Eric Bienemy gets a head coaching job next year... then Washington gets a comp pick in 2025 draft.   It would have been KC if he got hired now.

See how that works.    A team hiring a minority head coach or GM... actually gives the team they poached him from the comp pick.

The idea is if you hire a minority as a coordinator or in your front office,  that you think could get promoted by another team....then the league wants to reward you for putting them in the position to get the better job in the first place.   It's not simply hire a minority and get a comp pick.

You actually don't get one if the guy doesn't do his job good enough to be offered a promotion from another team.

In any case, I fail to see how you solve racism by being racist. If this holds then I want to see a 50% minimum of white guys on every roster and 2-3 asians on every roster as well as 1-2 native Americans simply because we need equity. Forget talent, not needed. We better add some women of all colors as well you know, for diversity and a few "iffy boys" on the PS since we already have those on the cheer leading squad. No need for college anymore, just be born the proper color and you will succeed without lifting a finger. Then we can take all the urinals out at the linc for more "diversified gender neutral troughs with seats". We can sell the old urinals as "Historical NFL memorabilia" on Ebay

It is a weak class. If one doesn't sneak into 1 another CB will,so it's a wash

Still think he'll start next year.  By my count there's possibly 9 teams looking for a starter: Jets, Raiders, Colts, Texans, Titans(?), Bucs, possibly Seahawks, Giants, Commanders (?); there's only 2 hot names (Garropollo and Carr).

So that's possibly 7 teams desperate for a QB.  Someone will bring him in as a stop-gap starter until a draft pick works put or some other solution appears.

True, plus add 3-4 QB's maybe 5 in the draft if someone can wait a bit on Hooker,so there's your 7. Wentz could be on the outside looking in if that happens. Also hard to know what happens in GB

so possibly 5 drafted QB's, Carr,Jimmy and whatever happens in GB so that's 8/9. Going to be an interesting year

GB has had Love on the back burner for 2 years. That's 2 years of wasted round 1 pick out of a possible 5. Possibly Fields gets traded also whihc won't change to needy team but will shuffle whom gets whom

What has to hold?   In order for you to get a comp pick...you have to pick out a minority coach and hire him as a coordinator...then that same coach needs to do a good enough job to get hired as a head coach by another team.

What's the issue with that?

It's still racist. If you choose a white guy you have no shot at a comp pick

So?   The idea is to choose the better coach so you can win.

I think you are still of the mindset that just hiring a minority coach gets you something?  It doesn't.   That coach has to earn a head coaching job elsewhere.   And in reality...the other team hiring him knows you will get a comp pick, gives them incentive not to hire him right?

It gives you incentive to hire a minority, that is racist by any definition. if 2 guys are equal you take the minority because you have a shot at a comp pick(that is racist)

If that minority pick proves he can be a HC that is worth a round 4 pick,so that excuse is shot

Scenario for you.

Our new OC is phenomenal. The offense gets that " just 6 more points per game" etc.

Dallas hires him to be their head coach.

This excellent coach that got the offense to the level you wanted, now goes to the arch rival.

Are you really going to turn down a comp pick after Dallas sticks it up your arse by hiring him?

You want Lurie to be a chump... have Jerry make him a chump by taking his coach for nothing?

Really?

Doesn't matter, the innuendo/basis itself is racist

It gives the other team incentive NOT to hire him because it gives YOU a comp pick.   You follow?

How about letting people succeed on merit??????

Great... Lurie asks you if he should take the comp pick... what is your answer?

No I don't because gaining a HC is worth another team getting a round 4
