A stud TE won’t go out for passes? Where did that idea get in your head? You thinking because of Goedert a second TE will play T or something. Beauty is Goedert and Mayer do both well. Versatile all around TEs. Goedert was fantastic this season. Mayer might give him a run for his money by end of rookie contract. Hard to pass up that kind of talent. Plus Goedert doesn’t make it through every game.

If you have the Oline create a hole,.,,I want a TD if possible. You can strive for mediocre. Six yards a carry is good. But sometimes the run doesn’t work. But when there’s a good hole….I want a playmaker to take advantage. I want WR to run after catch also. I want DBs to catch the ball and intercept it. Interception better than batted away. Big run is better than short run through same hole. Set your siighys higher. I mean you actually just denied liking a thirty yard run in favor of a six yard run. 8-9 football team you desire. Maybe 8-8-1. I prefer playmakers. Our Oline guys occasionally pancake their man. A stud rusher will hit them. Backup level RB will gain some yards. Give me Hurts at QB. Give me AJ at WR. You can prefer Ward and Pascal maxing out at 6 yard catches also. Do you prefer a QB hurry over sack fumbled by our pass rushers also?

Yep DCs everywhere will be terrified of you striving for a room of backup RBs with little big play potential. Why not at least take a chance on drafting a RB somewhere? At least there is possibility he could turn into something. Can’t believe how you want Scott, Gain and Fournette. You actually seem to be trying to degrade the team. Sanders was the clear back all year until injury. Big difference with him and the others. All the guys you mentioned….just called ‘others.’

We went back and forth with Stoll and Pascal. No defenders getting scared there in pass coverage. Get a all around TE. Then the D can’t prefer pass or run. Always helps if the D doesn’t have a head start on what your play is.
