Character or leadership are not factors?

I would pay premium for a guy that was an impact player for my team.  Very simple...  I don't have to wonder, I already know.  I'm paying CGJ.  Impact player you can build around long term.

Fournette(3-4 mil maybe),draft Mayer and  Vaughn at RB,add a cheap slot guy and now you have multiple looks no D can defend

Forget Fournette prior to the draft.   He would be a post draft move.

The inside sources believe not only CGJ,but a lot of players weren't fans of Gannon's style.  Probably why they didn't promote Wilson either.

It was said that Howie told Gannon to stay in Arizona for the interview.  A lot of people think it's a smokescreen the talking up of Gannon, but in reality the front office was not happy about his performance.

Rosie offered Gannon more than HC money to stay as DC for the Eags.

Downgrade the RB room with the plan being to rely on the O?

For 8-10 million for Sanders we have a choice? BTW Fournette can play 3 downs if needed, how about Sanders?

Sure

Yeah....knowing there was no chance Gannon would turn down the head coaching job.

Sanders was the most overrated player on the Eagles in 2022.

If he comes in cheap I would have NP adding him pre-draft. Could wait, get him cheaper if no takers, but then you risk him going elsewhere. We have alot of decisions to make, some will need made as fast as possible,so either works for me

You don’t actually know…because Gannon is gone. Desai defense now. Before Gannon Edwards wasn’t a factor at LB. With Gannon he ran the D.

Ham calls Fournette a downgrade(I'm sure he is),but as of yet I hear no RB plan from him. Not like we have a choice here really,we will be downgrading almost everywhere

He won't come cheap early.  It's ok if you "lose" him.   Again... not worried about the RBs.   They are along for the ride in this offense.

Why would he do that? Doesn’t make much sense to me. He could just let Gannon go to the Cards because of the promotion. That’s enough right there.

I suppose, but I'd like to add him and my little scat back

Lol... so you don't think Edwards gaining experience was key?  It was Gannon?

Plus we know CGJ was an impact player for 2 teams... I'm paying him.

Doesn't make sense?  Nothing for " show" makes sense?   Word doesn't get out that Philly pays top dollar for assistants?    There is nothing to be gained PR wise from that?   Really, you don't see it?

No, he hates Philly, don't even ask

I still heard the comment differently than Ham... the pause changes everything

" this is how you do I'm Philly"

Vs

" this is how you do?   ...  in Philly "

The second one is what he said, and it absolutely seemed to be addressed to someone specific that he was surprised did this in Philly.

I believe a big part of why Rosie hired Siri was because Gannon was coming along as DC.

Deep RB class,I see zero reason to spend a high pick on one. We met with Gibbs.I like my scat back better. He may cost us a next year 4th or 5th. I would be happy to do it

And I believe that after the Superbowl performance... a lot changed.  It was pretty embarrassing in front of the whole world on the biggest stage.

Gannon, Rallis….scheme fit. Don’t think Edwards was a fit nearly as much for Schwartz.

Think he has an intense personality. he wants to win .I would be mad if someone stole my car. I would also be mad at Gannon for the lackluster 2nd 1/2 defense. Sounds like a competitor to me

The writer brought up a good point... the Eagles had exit interviews with all the players.   They got to hear the true feelings.

After the SB Rosie offered a huge pay raise to Gannon

No argument.  Also think years 3 and 4 Edwards are better than rookie and year 2 Edwards.
