Ohhh... and he would have accepted that??????

Assuming the Saints we’re offering 8 mil…being a slot corner. Yes, think that would look like a real quick smart decision. Will he accept that now?

Cap limits go up as long as the profit goes up.... that's in the CBA.   Profits go up because networks are paying high amounts for broadcast rights.

Added the extra playoff games and extra regular season game. Can’t see them not adding that 18th regular season game real soon also.

I didin't see where NC said it was gonna be anytime soon

As an example Brady in 2009 made a base salary of 5 million. In 2022 it was 15 million and he was pretty much washed up

As it is right now the NFL has priced many fans out of ever seeing a game in person. I probably won't be around but i'll bet in 10 years a punters salary will be MORE than what NC predicted.

Lol...no shot in 10 years.   The jump was predicted with the TV contracts..  the QB position was the one where the big jump was forecast and its happened. The other positions are getting up there too.   Parsons will be over $30 mil per.   But let's not get ridiculous on the punter.  QBs will see $200 mil per year before a punter makes 35.  Not happening for a generation or so.

I saw something about Robert Woods wanting to come to Philly for slot WR and be reunited with AJ.

No shot... obvious he wanted the chance to hit the open market and get a max deal.   Besides....you just showed stats where he stinks.  So good riddance.  Put those stats next to all the negative stuff you were showing with our OL....my response remains...where do you rank him among the rest of the league?  He wants to get paid  as such.

That 18th game would adc another $13 mil to the cap based on 2023 numbers.

LOL I said "in time" and "I will be dead". Guess that wasn't picked up(as usual). QB's will become so costly, they wont be able to pay anyone else. Still waiting for the mandatory 50% white players on every team.; Must have equity. Maybe if they force that you can get comp picks for taking in white players and they get poached by other teams. Should be 2 native Americans on every team, a coupla asians, if we're going to do this BS,then let's do it across the board(yes i know this is 2 different topics lol) 70 million per QB and bubble ball by 2029

Also for "equity" reasons, the bye week should be the bye week for every team. So week 10,there is no football. Won't do it due to profit loss, but hey that would be fair wouldn't it? So let's go to 18 games, bye week is week 10 for everyone. Plan around it. I think we could all live without football for a week, but Goodell couldn't because no ad money that week. he would need to up the ad prices the other weeks, thus raising prices yet again, then adding more to player salaries, then due to stubbing toes,we go to bubble ball where no player has to risk getting scratched. Then you can save money releasing the med staff because they would have nothing to do. LOL. I'm posting this to see everyone go off the rails, much like railroads in Ohio

No money, but I'd love to add Robbie Anderson(cut by AZ) and put Smith in the slot

I'm not sure I follow the rest of the post.  But I have always been in favor of having 4 bye weeks in the middle.   2 divisions ( 8 teams) per week.  One AFC and one NFC division each week.  Maybe have it to where it's the divisions that play each other?   But have the byes weeks 8, 9, 10, 11.    Right in the middle...and equal for each team per division.

To make it better... the other 3 weeks ( from 8 to 11) have the games all be division matchups.

If I made the schedule...

Week 1 would be the extra game against the other conference.  So it would be Eagles at KC this year.

Week 2 = division matchup... from year before it's 1st vs 2nd and 3rd vs 4th in each division.

Weeks 8 to 11 = bye weeks and the other 3 games vs your division.  With the last matchup being the same as week 2.

Weeks 17 and 18 are the other 2 division games.

Then you can have interconference matchups weeks 3 and 7... and 12 and 16....  for us it's the AFC East.

Week 4 and 15 are the 2 conference games that are same standings from year before..  so for us it would be Minnesota and Tampa.

Then weeks 5, 6, 13 and 14 you play the other division in your conference.  For us it's the NFC West teams.

I think that would work out well... we would play our AFC games weeks 1, 3, 7, 12 and 16.     Week one is the game that has zero tiebreaker attached and makes sense since it's everyone's first game.

They can also pick a great matchup each year for that opening Thursday game.

Which is my other thing if I was in charge.   Only Thursday games would be opening day and Thanksgiving.

My post originally. I will respond to it if i feel like it

https://www.pff.com/news/draft-nfl-mock-draft-mike-renner-sam-monson-mock-the-first-round-bryce-young-to-the-houston-texan-at-no-1-overall  Looking at most mocks,as I said before, most now have 4 QB's going in the top 10. I love the Kancey pick they have, but could be a bit high(I had him at 30). At any rate I'm not worried about "reach" if it's a player well' have for years. Just get guys that stick. Had RT/G but they are taking a very good RG and since Lane is staying(I guess) then this is a decent move

SO,I'm not so hot with the S and LB positions. But was looking for 7th rounders that could flourish with proper coaching. So,I could use some input for my own benefit. Now remember these are round 7 guys,so don't compare them to round 3 guys. Anyway need someones take on these 2.   1) Brandon Hill-S- Pitt    2)Shaka Heyward- LB-Duke. Seems to me they ar rough with upside who could turn into BU's at least

Yes...but I responded specifically to ASG ....so it wasn't taking anything you said out of context.

For 13 mil

Seems like Adam Shefter is predicting around that $13 mil mark for CGJ.    Might be why he wanted to get to free agency so he could command more with his performance this year.   Apparently analytics and yourself don't think he did so with his poor tackling.

54th in tackling among S and 59th on completion percentage.

I know everybody gets enamored with the interceptions. They were great! But Gannon system favors the S big time. But a S not covering very well or tackling very well is a problem.
