IDK with 4 onlypicks if he can be re-signed cheap why not do it? At least you know what you have. Thats 1 guy I may re-sign for a year even as a solid BU. I don't think he was much $ when we got him

We paid Sermon too and never used him at all. No clue how good he is here. We ran right out and got him off the wire for no reason. Weird

    Sermon is minimal salary, White will cost at least $5 mil.

    Team made the Superbowl and put up over 30 points each playoff game.  At what point did we need Sermon?   

    We didn't play the 3rd QB either...should we not have had one?  I'm trying to find your parallel with White ... a $5 mil player that played vs Sermon a minimum guy?  

    The goal is to win a championship,not play every player on the roster. 

    Rams trying to trade Stafford. Good luck with that contract.

    If we didn't need Sermon why did we literally race to get him off the wire???? If you're scrambling to get someone,I would think you'd like to use them. Seems pointless. I mean what was the big rush????  It's TWO SEPARATE things Joe,I was not "comparing" them 1) Is white worth bringing back 2) Is Sermon worth keeping since we ran out and got him(see it's TWO things)

    Updated mock. I love Kancey at 30,but if we go WR,may as well get the best slot guy.  1-10- Tyree Wilson(preferred) or Myles Murphy-edge  1-30 Zay Flowers-WR BC impact slot similar to JJ. Not the explosiveness of JJ,but he'll screw up defenses from the slot  2-62-Gervon Dexter-DT FL  3-94-Riley Moss-CB-Iowa  7-Brandon Hill-S-Pitt 7- Shaka Heyward-LB-Duke  OR Gibbs-RB at 30. 30 is the hardest pick for me-Kancey,Gibbs,Flowers. Hope fully as things progress there will be more clairty

    Graham re-signed on a 1 year. Sure seems like Edge will be the 10 pick. Let the newbie get their feet wet with Graham still here

    Slay given permission to seek a trade.  He will probably be cut if he doesn't find a trade partner.

    I can honestly say I don't remember anything about getting Sermon...I'm not as up on the 4th string guys like most of you on here...  white is different,  he would be brought back to start and paid as such... not minimum like Sermon. 

    Idk how did we get Sermon???  Really have no clue,I thought we just picked him up after he was released?   Did Howie speed to the airport??  Idk what would be considered " rush"  but again... White is going to be a free agent, if you " rush" you are going to have to pay...that's why no need to rush.   Sermon...not sure anyone can even make less than what he does,  so if we did "Rush" to get him...it really didn't matter.

    Sermon was let go by SF. He hit the waiver wire, and we got him pretty fast. I just don't know why if you're not planning a future for him. I think he had a minimal contract like a mil or so?(not sure on this part). he was "OK at OSU. Perhaps they are waiting to see if Scott re-signs. I mean Sermon could be a usable 3 or 4 RB(as you said). I just found it curious that he never even had him play. I think he was in 1 snap. So,whatever it's nothing huge,just found it odd

    I think at the time he was just a cheap cover. Maybe Howie had already decided to go all in last year and he was a cheap option if say Scott or Gains went down. All I can figure. So now with Sanders going away and maybe Scott also,we can see if he can be of service if we re-sign him for a pittance. I don't attend the practices,I have no clue if he could play or not. personally I think there are better UDFA's to get with this deep RB class

    Plus it’s a different defense. Actually we just don’t even know what Desai wants to do. Siri stressed his philosophy is about not giving up big plays. The LB coach we hired plays 3-4. So I take little hints to make educated guesses….like from Desai past.

    Have to break it all down but if we sign Jessie Bates….the top FA on the market. Doesn’t that cancel out out top lost FA? Basically eliminate that third round comp pick we’d gain. Minor FA losses don’t count for much. I thought they kind of matched up gain versus loss individually to cancel each other out.
