IDK that we can afford him anyway. We're letting him look. I doubt we thought we could keep him here either way. It's a nice way of telling him we can't afford him. I doubt we needed an excuse. Business. Pointless to drag him until the end knowing we can't afford him. I don't want this team to look bad,I want players who want to come here because the team does right by them

Got so little money to work with. Felt like trading Slay and possibly Lane are about all the moves after extending Elliott to make

Who do they have? 2 RB's no QB,no WR's no TE. Don't know how much loot they have but they better spend every penny because they wiped out their draft picks. They need to hit FA hard

They still have their own second. Didn’t bankrupt all the future picks. Plus all the additional Niner picks.

IDK,they could have moved up to 4 and maybe kept DJ. At least they would have had an experienced WR for the new rook. So Dj would be a comp pick for them next year,as well as Caff?. They will blow this trade if they don't take Richardson IMO. Bears weren't taking a QB at 1 anyhow. But whatever it's done,I just think they gave too much, they didnt need to go to1 3/4 would have been fine. Hope it works for them

Trying to Penny pinch too much. What are you trying to save instead of one to four? Get your top guy. That’s worth the extra second. I don’t know….thought it was a great way to go about business for Panthers. They added extra picks to make sure they could pull it off and still have nice draft picks. Keeping their own second and reading Niners second was sweet for them.

They may slop out a game or 3. But all new staff and now mostly new players. Wiped out 2 years of draft picks for 1 QB who has to "do it all alone" I don't think this was a good strategy at all. Great for the Bears, should put them right in the mix with a decent draft

Bears aren’t in the mix for crap. Starting to rebuild. Going to try and figure out if Fields is quality enough. I have my doubts about him. He’s great at ad libbing for a bad team. But can he prosper and get it done with a good team in big games? Isn’t that the goal and real thing to judge him on? You aren’t looking for a QB1 that can make something entertaining out of crap. Can he lead a good team to the top? I have serious doubts there. Got four quality QBs in this draft. Those guys turn out better…then they completely blew it. They’ll remain the same crappy team they’ve been.

You’ve been mocking all these WR. They have an early round two pick. Should easily be looking at a quality WR.

Idk who they have... but the answer is they have the team that won a bunch toward the end and played fairly well after traded CMC.

Easy move they needed to make. But now they gotta pick the right guy.

They traded a 61st this year... 1st next year and 2025 2nd...  how is that completely wiping out any draft?

Still have all kinds of good draft ammo. They added just enough picks to easily afford that trade. Their loving it!

The acquisition of Moore makes the Bears' offense—led by dynamic quarterback Justin Fields—suddenly dangerous. Moore joins a young wide receiving core which could make some noise in 2023. As of right now, the Bears' top four wideouts are 25-and-under, including Moore (25), Darnell Mooney (25), Chase Claypool (24) and Cole Kmet (24).

While the draft picks the Bears received in Friday's deal are impressive enough, adding Moore is a tremendous feather in the cap of general manager Ryan Poles.

Weakest team in their division without a doubt. Even if ARod goes.

For one,it rules out the Bears trading fields and taking a QB(also rules that out at 9).If TB wants a rook QB they will have to jump to 6 over LV. Pick 10(Us) doesn't get them into position. it doesn't change our pick,it changes the landscape for a TB trade partner. So now I suspect they find a FA QB to work on. They could still make the trade with us,but it won't be the get a QB,so that leverage is gone. Still time to see which FA QB's end up where

Bears at 9 seemingly aren’t in QB market. So 10 is just as good as 9 in the QB market.

https://www.espn.com/nfl/team/depth/_/name/car  No top flight WR's,Shenault is ok, Higgins had some nice stats,no TE to speak of. The rook QB has no weapons unless they go get some in FA. No top WR next draft either, they gave that away. So as far as we are concerned I would look at who Carolina cuts who we could snag as our slot guy to replace Quez(if we choose that)

They drafted Terrace Marshall.

IDK???? I wasn't at practice. he was "usable" at OSU. SF got him. If he was terrible they wouldn't have bothered. We bothered to get him as well. Maybe they know something we don't? RB 3 maybe? I personally don't know. All I have to go on was him at OSU

Niners bothered to dump him fairly quickly

He did so mostly by making plays with his legs, whether on designed runs or outside the structure of the offense when scrambling. (He was at his most effective as a scrambler. How Fields was exciting. Now he didn’t have many weapons. But what he did isn’t really what they regularly need. Busted play?.great

Bears will still stink. Probably get their QB next draft. So only was a great trade for them if they just really didn’t like any of this year’s QBs enough. You can poke holes in all four.

Rumor that Zona WR Hopkins working out for Cowboys

Moore is so tough to cover. So many different ways he is effective. Fast and agile. Doesn’t drop much either. He’s been killing it with the worst collection of QBs possible.

Always been a fan of him. Fields got a very good WR

IDk we though the same thing about Hurts last year. We gave him the weapons, suspect Fields can do it too

TB has to go to 7 now, maybe 6 if they want a rook QB,9 won't get that done, neither will 10. I figured(wrongly) we could trade the 10 for TB 19 and that would get them in position for another move up,but now they need to go to 6-7 directly. I would suggest TB take my boy Hooker. He can be had later. He will be(supposedly) ready to go,but not by draft day,so who knows

Hard to know what he can do. Now with Moore that can free him up

Sure, they got Caff LOL

Fields is where Hurts was last year(and how good were we this year?) Fields 1 year behind Hurts. Finally he has some weapons

He was basically a 1 man team LOL. They need O line work and a GOOD TE. I believe they take 1 in the draft

That’s where I believe Fields thrives. He’s exciting and can sell tickets

He’s good at just ad libbing to create something. I don’t think he can run a real offense to a level you want your QB to do it. I’m not saying his teammates were stellar. But that’s how the guy plays. Just build a defense. Then let him street ball some offense.
